MILLENIALS RISING

Time is growing short for the status quo. The existing social order will be swept away. The Establishment will be discredited. The guilty will be found and punished. There will be blood. The revolution will not be led by Boomers. They are the status quo. They are calling the shots today. They are fearful and are lashing out at the younger generations. The Millenials are rising. Every day more enter young adulthood, while more Boomers die. The scale is tipping. The moment of truth is approaching. It may not be today or tomorrow, but it’s coming. Fourth Turnings NEVER reverse course. Winter is here.

As a bloody skirmish between police and opposition activists in central Moscow was drawing to a close on Sunday a small boy on a tiny bicycle pedaled through the crowd and approached a line of hulking riot police.

He sat there for a moment, balancing on his training wheels, staring at the menacing troops who were decked out in blue camouflage uniforms and full riot gear, nightsticks at the ready.

A group of protesters who had been heckling the cops began jeering, “Here’s the guy that will storm the Kremlin. Be ready boys! Here he comes!”

Julia Ioffe, the Moscow correspondent for The New Yorker and Foreign Policy magazine, happened to be standing right behind him. She whipped out her iPhone and snapped a picture which she tweeted out to her over 6,000 followers with the caption “Russia’s Tianamen (sic) image.”

Is acting a sport because actors and actresses keep in shape?

No.

They act.

Z – you ain’t seen nothing yet.

And there hasn’t been a blistering firefight in a while, but it will happen. Me and RE/Admin/Ecliptix/AWD/Davos have had some rip-snorters. Mostly we have settled down, but it isn’t permanent. And SSS is a sight to behold when he really goes off. And then there was Smokey. Hot damn, now he had/has a policy of scorched-earth and no prisoners.

Which of youse pricks gave the fat golfers the thumbs down? Show some respect. They are role models for the common man – if they can do it, anyone can.

So I googled, Camilo Villegas is gay. Not surprisingly there were numerous entries such as this one: “Is Camillo Villegas gay? It’s doubtful. He’s just waiting for the right girl to come along. ChaCha for now! ”

Right…that’s what they say about Barry Manilow.

Oh shit, if google says its true IT MUST BE!

Anyways, what does that have to do with physical appearance? There are a lot of lesbians I’d love to see naked. I won’t ever have sex with them, but that doesn’t make them any less attractive.

TPC, I’m beginning to wonder about you. The definition for sex with a lesbian is rape.

I was thinking about the occupy protesters and i think your kidding yourself. If anything the upcoming crop of kids well lean towards life being “fair” and supporting the UN and big brother. The rest well fill our prisons or be the brown shirts putting the rebels there.

@Zara: She could be testing the waters, you never know.

@Admin: Here is my attempt to get back on topic.

As far as I can tell nobody ACTUALLY expects Boomers to retire in droves at 65. They have zero savings, and massive amounts of debt. They will stay at whatever mid-level management position they have managed to get after 25 years of “working” at their chosen company.

Which of course will tamp down on the upward mobility of the Gen-X folks. Which in turn, will keep millennials from rising. The entire company structure will be even an even more age-related hierarchy than it already is.

Thankfully we aren’t the top ranked country in terms of age, that will come in handy when I finally get that promotion I always dreamed about at age 55 when enough Boomers have finally died that I can move up the corporate chain.

Age warfare indeed, the only way my generation gets ahead is by starting our own company, kissing so much ass that it actually covers their protein requirement in the food pyramid, or by joining one started by a Gen-X’er.
