We are a nation of laws and the best justice system in the world. A jury found the police officers innocent. That’s good enough for me. Why isn’t it good enough for you? It is no doubt because you are a lawbreaker yourself.
Matthew 5:18 tells us, “Don’t misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose.”
Matthew 5:48 tells us, “But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect.”
But no one can achieve perfection. Fortunately the blood of Jesus shed for our sins means we do not have to attain perfection. Jesus did it for us. Kelly Thomas deserved what he got. Hopefully he accepted Jesus and is now in a better place.
