Canada beats Sweden for men’s hockey gold medal
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Canada defeated Sweden, 3-0 on Sunday, to win the men’s ice hockey gold medal at the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. The Canadians proved to be too much for Sweden, as goals by Jonathan Toews, Sidney Crosby and Chris Kunitz gave Canada the shutout win, and second-straight Olympic men’s hockey gold medal. Sweden finished in second place for the silver medal, while Finland took home the bronze after shutting out the United States, 5-0, on Saturday.

The Olympics are over ……. but NBC has 4 hours of programming, and the announcers acting like it’s all One Big Mystery as to who wins …….. hilarious ………. tape-delayed Olympics is beyond retarded when all you have to do is go to the internet.

Well, they did win the overall medal count — 33 — to America’s 28. Call it home court advantage, especially that cheating cunt Russian ice dancer.
But if you count Canada’s 25 medals (4th place) … we own, or will own, Canada anyway …. that’s 53 medals total, and we crush the world.
Netherlands have 24 medals (5th place) …… EVERY one of them in speed skating …. is that something to be proud of?
Norway has 26 medals (3rd place) …. almost all of them in sports no one gives a fuck about; biathalon, cross-country, and Nordic combined. Pffft!
