You know, I think Ron Paul should order DNA testing on his mail man,
cause this shill in no way resembles Ron Paul.

Rand comes in about 11:40 for anyone who wants to skip the opening ceremonies.

Libertarians Aim to Be Players in 2014 Elections

Young Americans for Liberty’s political action committee – Liberty Action Fund – bills itself as a youth-driven, grass-roots machine ready to harness enthusiasm for former Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, and leverage it into support for constitutionally focused and libertarian-minded congressional candidates. The PAC is an offshoot of Young Americans for Liberty, a libertarian youth organization with 500 chapters and more than 125,000 participants, according to the YAL website.

The PAC, which claims to be the “voice of a new generation of political donors and activists,” has lofty ambitions. But according to campaign finance reports, they’ve got a long way to go before they can catch up to the big boy super PACs. According to the Center for Responsive Politics, Liberty Action Fund has raised just more than $16,000 this election cycle. That’s a drop in the bucket compared to groups like Club for Growth, which spent more than $17 million on campaigns in 2012.

Rand not only defined himself he defined the Republican Party, as he stated numerous times, “We are the party that,” he’s a strong valiant voice in the Republican Party. He already has my support and my vote should he decide to run.

Should Rand decide to run his father will back him with everything he’s got on that you can rest assured. Want Proof—-> hit link and check out the interview.

Ron Paul interview

Ron Paul on Rand Paul; we’re about 99% the same.

Geraldo Rivera: You don’t want him to forsake his dad, do you? I would hate that if my son did that, if he went out in public and said, “My dad is one thing, I’m totally different”. Do you want the same thing?

Ron Paul: No, I don’t think he will, because we’re about 99% same.

Nice Speech. Rand Paul can come across as overly smug sometimes, in my opinion. Not this time. I like very much what he is saying but I’m also aware of what he isn’t saying, which is just as important.

I do wish he would address the unsustainable defense budget and role of the military. A glaring difference between the father and son, I think… That a speech about redefining the Republican Party would not include something on the subject raises some alarms. I’m suspicious of the idea that all of our money problems can be solved without touching the Military Industrial Complex.

I didn’t see anything “self defining” in that speech. I like that he brought up lysander spooner, but most of it seemed like pandering. Who gives a fuck about a squirrel? Seriously, among all of the evil things this government does, that’s the best he could come up with? Ok, Rand Paul did define himself after all. He talks about standing for something other than the same but less, which entails taking on the tough issues, and then he deftly avoids doing just that by mentioning the water-skiing squirrel and tax cuts.
Rand Paul defined himself as a man who can equivocate with the best of them.

Truman is right. This man is no Ron Paul.

Ron Paul himself states that Rand and him agree on 99% of the issues. Is Ron Paul a liar? Or do Truman and Z know Ron Paul’s mind better than Ron Paul?

sensetti, did you follow RP’s 2012? He filled his staff with relatives. His campaign manager, Jesse Benton, who is Dr. Paul’s son-in-law, was paid half a million a year (most of which came from small donations from millenials who could least afford it) and Benton then showed his loyalty to liberty by going to work for Mitch McConnell.

Everyone has his sins and Dr. Paul’s is nepotism. He would never say an unkind word about Rand (in public).
