HOW SMALL BUSINESS FRIENDLY IS YOUR STATE?

Hover over your state to see the details. The higher the number, the less business friendly. Shockingly, California and Illinois are at the bottom of the barrel and my fine state of PA isn’t far behind.

Massachusetts number 31. I am surprised we are ranked even that high. Between state taxes and regulations and local town bylaws and planning boards its a surprise anyone gets anything done other than the unions and well connected.

So the Mrs selling sourdough bread at the farmer’s market doesn’t count?

The only reason Michigan ranks 29 is because you have to balance the over-taxed and over-regulated big shitties with the hundreds and hundreds of less regulated townships, counties and small villages.

Although from what I hear now, the gubment banditos have figured out that the companies in the sticks aren’t ready for them and have little resistance to being fined and ticketed out of existence.

It became apparent long ago, gubment workers and their politicians do not want small business to exist, they just want our assets for as long as we can manage to keep using them.

Intentional destruction of the middle class under the guise of globalism, environmentalism and safety.

Fucking bullshit that will lead to starvation for many is what it actually is.

But, screw it, today is Friday, hub is gone to Sunday and I’m a mere mile and half, and ten minutes, away from my first Fat Tire of what I hope will be many this weekend.

Tonight I drink, maybe tomorrow I’ll fret some more.
