Can anyone point out a single news story in the past ten years that painted McDonalds in a positive light? How does this corporation continue to operate when anyone with two eyeballs and a heartbeat can readily observe that it is not only a source of flavorless slop, but risky to your health?
I look at people who eat at McD’s in the same way I look at crack addicts. They know what they’re doing and simply don’t give a damn.

We picked up an old cecilware double basket deep fat fryer at a yard sale a couple of years ago for $5. We render tallow and leaf lard (beef or hog fat) and use that for deep frying. The we go out and grub up some fresh potatoes, cut them into fries using a french fry cutter (yup, yard sale, $3-4) and throw them in. When they come out, sprinkle with Maine sea salt and enjoy. They are to McDonalds french fries what grass fed filet mignon is to Yum-Yums frozen cheesesteaks.

The way things are going, everyone will get their wish and McDonald’s will go out of business, leaving Americans to eat whatever The Elite tells them is “better” for them.

A fair chunk of the obese diabetic FSA will perish once they lose access to their medications. I can only hope that their rotting corpses will stand as a lesson to the survivors that letting yourself become a worthless fat piece of sh*t slob is not the best way to spend your one and only chance at life here on this blue marble. That people take the most precious gift of all and turn it into what we witness on this video just makes me want to weep.

Hardscrabble when I’m out of town I eat breakfast at McDonald all the time. Free WiFi that works unlike Burger King. Also, in the North East dollar coffee all day long.
What’s more surprising is why other establishments can’t compete or won’t compete.
Oh, and Mcds opens at 5am.

Way back when I was living on the road I used McD’s for two things, black coffee and the toilet.
I noticed one thing at virtually every single one I ever used from one end of this country to the other, the rest room sink featured two knobs, but never had hot water no matter how long you left it on. I assume that this is a company policy in order to save energy despite the fact that warm water is necessary for food safety reasons, especially as it applies to food service employees. That was my original reason for no longer eating there, long before I figured out the toxicity of corporate agricultural products.

I’ll always remember my first double-cheeseburger at McDonald’s in 1964. Of course, that was back when the cheese was real dairy cheese, the meat wasn’t chock full of steroids, and the buns didn’t taste like sawdust like the do now. I’d get a hankering for one every now and then over the years, but not for over a year now–that sawdust taste is awful.
And then there’s the McD’s burger that looks the same after 14 years:
