SHOOT FIRST – DON’T ASK QUESTIONS LATER – TWICE

If you are ever in Billings Montana, don’t get pulled over by this cop.

This was not the first time Morrison shot and killed an unarmed, nonviolent person during a traffic stop. In 2013, Morrison shot and killed James Shaw after a routine traffic stop. Shaw was first hit with a taser then immediately shot and killed by Morrison. Morrison says he shot Shaw because he had a “crazed look on his face.”

Billings, MT – A jury at a coroner’s inquest determined Wednesday that a Montana police officer was justified in shooting and killing an unarmed man high on methamphetamine during a traffic stop.

The ruling came after Billings Police Officer Grant Morrison testified he feared for his life when he fired the three shots that killed 38-year-old Richard Ramirez.

The five-year police veteran said he became convinced that Ramirez had a gun after the man reached for his waistband during their 30-second encounter last April in a high-crime area of Montana’s most populous city.

“I knew in that moment, which later was determined to be untrue, but I knew in that moment that he was reaching for a gun,” Morrison said. “I couldn’t take that risk. … I wanted to see my son grow up.”

The seven-person jury deliberated about an hour before delivering its decision.

Yellowstone County Attorney Scott Twito said he does not expect to file any charges given the jury’s decision.

Coroner’s inquests are mandatory under Montana law whenever someone is killed by law enforcement or dies in custody.

The inquest was held as police killings of unarmed suspects in Ferguson, Missouri and New York City have heightened scrutiny of law enforcement nationwide.

Ramirez family members said they were disappointed by the ruling and intend to file a lawsuit against Morrison and the Billings Police Department alleging excessive use of force, said Julie Ramirez, a sister of Richard Ramirez.

Billings Police Chief Rich St. John said it was the fifth officer-involved shooting in his eight years as head of the department. Each shooting was ruled to be justified, he said.

“That tells us we’re doing the right thing in the right way,” St. John said.

Police video showed Morrison repeatedly ordered Ramirez and other occupants of the vehicle to raise their hands. Ramirez’s actions were largely obscured in the video. But Morrison said Ramirez dropped his left hand to his side — out of the officer’s view — and “started to jiggle it up and down” just before he was shot.

Morrison shot and killed another man in 2013. He was cleared of any wrongdoing in that case.

Ramirez’s family wanted criminal charges against the officer and said Ramirez was a victim of racial profiling.

Another sister, Renee Ramirez, criticized the inquest as one-sided. She said testimony that her brother was a drug user was irrelevant.

All but three of the 15 people called to testify during the two-day inquest were from law enforcement. Several police officers spoke at length about their prior dealings with Ramirez and others in his family.

“I don’t care what things my brother did in the past,” Renee Ramirez said. “What does that have to do with shooting my brother?”

Billings Police Detective Brad Tucker, who investigated the case, testified Tuesday that Ramirez might have been trying to stash something when he was shot. A small amount of methamphetamine and a syringe were later found near Ramirez’s seat.

An autopsy determined Ramirez had enough methamphetamine in his bloodstream at the time of the shooting to kill a person not accustomed to the drug, forensic pathologist Tom Bennett testified.

Twito defended the proceedings as a fair presentation of the facts.

“The videos speak for themselves,” he said.

Morrison was placed on paid administrative leave immediately after the shooting and has since been assigned to a task force investigating prescription drug crimes, St. John said.

“I knew in that moment, which later was determined to be untrue, but I knew in that moment that he was reaching for a gun,” ———– lying copfuk

Soooo …. he KNEW the guy was reaching for a gun even though it was later proven UNTRUE??? What kind of massive doublespeak is that? Yet, the grand jury found him innocent. Wow. The people are as fucked-in-the-head as the copfuks.

“I couldn’t take that risk. … I wanted to see my son grow up.” ——- evil copfuk

That’s so rich in hypocrisy I’m at a loss for words.

All that being said, the vids show absolutely nothing. You CAN’T see what the people in the car are doing. So, I guess we’ll just take the copfuk’s word … that he feared for his life … that the dead guy was reaching in his waistband …. that the copfuk had a little son who was more valuable than the dead guy ….. cuz, you know, copfuks never lie.

I hope that copfuk dies of natural causes … a brain aneurism would be acceptable.

What ever happened to the idea of pointing the weapon at the suspect without shooting until you actually see a gun?

Let’s play a game. Can you identify the profession of the following person?

————————

He has one of the most dangerous jobs in the country. Before going on duty, he straightens his uniform, checks the lights on top of his car, and prepares for a long night of driving around the city and into some of the worst neighborhoods it has to offer. Every stop could be his last. Just wearing the uniform in some parts of the city makes him the target of armed robbers and gang members. He could get dragged out of his car and beat or shot while sitting at a traffic light. He’s there to serve you, the ungrateful public. In spite of the danger, if you call, he’s on his way, and he’ll probably be there in 30 minutes of less.

9-Year-Old Boy Who Stole Gum Was Arrested and Jailed—The Streets Are Safe Again

Citizens of Idaho, the danger has passed: Authorities bravely captured the 9-year-old miscreant who—gasp!—stole a pack of gum from a convenience store.

Thankfully, no one was harmed in the effort to apprehend the social menace.

The boy landed in trouble after twice failing to show up for his court date. At that point, prosecutors felt they had no choice but to issue a warrant for his arrest. According to KHQ, the boy was unable to go to court because his family had no way of transporting him there:

[Chief of Police Scott] Haug also says it isn’t uncommon for the owner of a business to press charges against those who steal, even if it’s for something as small as a pack of gum. When KHQ asked Haug why the 9 year old failed to appear, he says it was because the family had no way to get him to the courthouse.

“Had we known that before the court date we would have provided something for the family,” says Haug. “I wish we would have had more information that way we could have provided some sort of assistance.”

But that’s not an issue anymore; the boy has been packed off to a juvenile detention center to await his next court date. Now he should have no trouble facing judgment for his terrible crimes.

Pizza delivery is correct ….. (under 30 minutes!)

More pizza delivery men are assaulted each year than copfuks. But if a pizza guy kills someone while he is speeding along, he will be prosecuted. He if carries a gun, he’ll get fired. If he carries one anyway and kills someone in self-defense, he still might go to jail. Much more risk than being a copfuk, and none of the protections.

Not in S.C. Stuck. About 3 or so years ago an old guy delivering pizza shot a gang banger who was intent on using him to pass his gang initiation. The old dude had a CWP…shot the gang banger stone cold dead.

Some animals are simply more equal than others.

Cops are the “some” that are definitely, proven over and over and over, more equal.

“…Morrison says he shot Shaw because he had a “crazed look on his face.”…”

AFTER he tazed him first.

So friends, keep in mind, that when being tazed by our “protectors” and “peace” officers, don’t allow your face to contort or show pain. That look is now a court-protected excuse for shooting us dead.

And nine year olds in juvie for $1 crimes. We are spending tens and tens of thousands of dollars for this “crime.”

Meanwhile, the dumb as fuck store owner will get NOTHING. Crime solved.

Try this, instead of the fucking courts and cops getting involved, put the little bastard to work to pay for his crime directly.

In that way the victim would be “made whole,” and a valuable lesson could be learned that more than likely would stop this behavior and last a lifetime.

Instead we choose tens of thousands in cost to us taxpayers (debtors), no real restitution for the victim, and the now greater than not chance of creating yet one more lifetime prison inhabitant.

Success in ‘murica. Maybe Obama should give him a free college degree to help him out.

Walking up to vehicles with dark tinted windows wouldnt be my cup of tea. I have experienced one of these nervous Barney Fife idiots waving his pistol around while shaking like a leaf.I asked him to please point his gun away before he accidently shot me. This car didn’t need to be pulled over to start with. The cop should lose his job and the victims relatives should… I hope the cop gets some kind of fitting ending for his life.

Shoots the guy three times, still orders him to hold his hands up, then threatens to shoot him again if he moves an inch, then watch’s him bleed out all the while holding his gun on him, then asks the big cop to “pull him out.”

Motherfucker.

I’d like to shoot that cocksucker three times and then see how well he follows fucking instructions.

Let this be a lesson to you simians. When Johnny pulls you over, don’t get all twitchy and start reaching for shit. It’s no guarantee, but if you keep your hands where a cop can see them at all times and imagine you are being confronted by jeebuz or your favorite grandmother things will probably turn out ok. Save the shit talking for when you re-tell the story to your homies…….they will appreciate it, the cops won’t.

Come on guys. Are there a bunch of twitchy cops out there? Sure. How come? Because there are more and more knuckleheads out there that don’t give a fuck about nothing. The guy in the video robbed and shot someone the night before. Google ‘smith kills officer stewart.’ That cop is dead. I wouldn’t want that job.

Maybe if the guy is so emotional he is not really able to control himself and he shouldn’t be a cop.

Even so, I think it’s rather strange they walked him right over in front of the camera, I’d hate to think he was playing it up for the camera, but that thought did occur to me.
