Done Been Girled: The Price of Matriarchy

The United States has embarked, or been embarked, on a headlong rush into matriarchy, something never before attempted in a major country. Men remain numerically dominant in positions of power, yes, but their behavior and freedom are ever more constrained by the wishes of hostile women. The effects have been disastrous. They are likely to be more so.

The control, or near control, extends all through society. Politicians are terrified of women. The president of an Ivy university is fired, and replaced by a woman, if he makes the obvious observation that women are not much good at mathematics. Women dominate the schools and universities. A Nobelist in biology has to apologize profusely for having said that in laboratories women cry when criticized. Women have forced the lowering of standards for hiring police and firemen, for the military. They have made life miserable for small boys. The beat goes on.

The pathological egalitarianism of the age makes it career-ending to mention that women in fact are neither equal nor identical to men. The differences are many and most of them are obvious:

Women are less curious than men. They will learn to drive or use a computer, but will have no idea how either machine works.

They are totalitarian. A man is willing to let girls be girls and boys be boys. Women want all to be girls or, more accurately, to behave according to female standards.

Men enjoy competition; women deplore it. “Let’s have a cooperative game led by a caring adult.”

Men prefer freedom to security; women, security to freedom. Wear your helmet on your bike. Use sunscreen. Dodge ball is violent and dangerous. Don’t swim without a lifeguard.

Women prefer emotion to substance. College is now more about feeling good and social arrangements than about academics. Note that if a man suggests that women are not terribly good at math, they do not respond with counterevidence, which would be substance. They become furious, and get their way by what amount s to a vast hissy-fit.

Women hate each other; men do not. In any office, for example, ninety percent of the interpersonal problems will be between women.

Men are more intellectually engaged than women. Note that in think-sites of the web, such as The Unz Review, both the writers and the commenters are overwhelmingly male.

Women have more emotional range than men, being both kinder and meaner. A woman is more likely to care for a hurt puppy. In a divorce, she will be much more vicious than the man. He wants to get out, she wants to get even.

Women have less intellectual range than men. Fewer women than men are extremely stupid, and fewer women than men extremely smart; the disproportion increases with IQ, there being almost no women at the highest levels. This is the glass ceiling.

Women are subject to hysterias; men are not. (For readers under fifty, “hysteria” comes from the Greek for “womb.” The ancient Greeks thought the condition was caused by a disorder in this organ. It isn’t, but they had they knew in which sex it occurred.)

A pertinent example is the current fascination with imaginary rape. Further, they are more obsessed by far than men with political correctness, which is also a form of totalitarianism and a search for security.

Women now hate men; men just wish women would shut up.

It is the nature of women to complain, endlessly, of everything. This has been a staple of comedy from Xantippe to the present. The meddlesome, complaining mother-in-law is a stock figure, not the father-in-law. The language reflects this. It is not called “bitching” because men do it. Likewise we have shrew, nag, scold, harridan, virago, vixen, fishwife, termagant, and henpecked.

Women want to intrude on men, to leave them nowhere to be exclusively among other men. Men do not reciprocate this.  If men try to open, say, a bar only for men, women explode. If women wanted to open a bar exclusively for women, men would not care.

Women have a poor sense of social boundaries or, in plain English, of knowing what is and what isn’t their concern. It amounts to generalized mother-in-lawing. In Mexico, where I live, it is invariably American women who want to tell Mexicans how to manage their society. A man cringes at the thought. Mexico isn’t his to run, and he knows it.

It is worth noting that women have little understanding of men.  They may say, resignedly or ruefully, “Boys will be boys.” They have no idea of why boys are boys. They know how to manipulate men, yes: Flash a leg, stick their chests out, cry, or act helpless. They don’t understand men any more than a bear trap understands bears.

Women, puzzlingly to a man, do not seem concerned with performance or effectiveness. They must know that a woman who cannot carry her end of a stretcher should not be half of an ambulance crew. Yet if barred from the job, they resort to political pressure and have the standards lowered.

Certainly it is not from lack of concern with the patient. Women are more compassionate than men. Rather they seem not to make the connection between hiring standards and carrying an unconscious victim from a burning building. Similarly they do not want men to be killed in combat. Somehow, and this is a mystery to me, they cannot see the downstream consequences of having soldiers who cannot handle the physical demands. Short time horizons? Inability to imagine anything so alien to them as combat?

In reading the news, note that almost invariably it is the females of the species who complain of microaggressions, of “triggering” words that make the feel unsafe, of uncomfortable environments and the like.

In the past, when men were in control of women and directed them, women were of great value to society. They were fine teachers, having absorbed the masculine idea that school was about learning things. An admixture of male teachers and principal insured discipline, which women on their own could not—being controlled is not the default mode for boys—and so there was no need for the police to drag boys from school. Today women make good doctors, dentists, and shock-trauma nurses. It is only when they begin to make policy instead of effecting it that disaster befalls.

Differences so profound will affect political choices profoundly, as witness the conversion of the schools into misandrist hives for the promotion of appropriate thought or, more correctly, appropriate feelings. The desire to protect anyone but white men from any offense, however mild, is both totalitarian and mildly lunatic. It now dominates national life.

Where will this lead? Stay tuned. We are going to find out.

Gayle, Stupid women are contagious, they make the men around them stupid.
That is my answer to a rhetorical question a grandmother asked her grandaughter in a Korean soapy. She added, I don’t know why a man suddenly decides to abandon his children to go raise another man’s kids.
Stupid man-traps get a kick out of luring a man away from his family.

Hi Folks

I read through Reed article the other and thought I’d drop by to review the comments. Anyways if you read this Stucky I’d like to ad my voice asking you to come back. I don’t post much but I do visit this site every day. And like I said to Admin in email I sent a while back this forum is where I gained the confidence to speak publicly about my experiences at Westray. Like I said to Jim if I can stand the wrath of comments from everyone here then standing in front of people or appearing on radio would be no sweat. I don’t think you realize the impact you, admin and everyone else has on people like me. A good analogy would be me as an eight year old going outside at school alone at lunch but against the odds finding a group of kids to play with.

As for the meat of what Mr. Reed is saying I do in large part agree with him. I am tired of living in a place where as a white man I am the only demographic that is allowed to be picked on by society. I have been informed that I have white male privilege. I don’t feel I have it and looking back on my life I can find no evidence that I ever had it. But try telling that to a woman.

We live in a society that is set up to offend only white men. Every other demographic gets a pass.

It is wrong.

I would like to see each person judged on the content of their being but I can’t see that ever happening.

I’ll end by saying Stucky come back we all miss you on playground.

cheers

Does anyone care to admit how much influence women have over men lives?Everything we do in centered around pleasing the women. A mans world was built for the comfort of women and now the ingrate sex had gone and effed that up ..to their own detriment they will soon learn.

Gee Whiz, I take a trip to the river with my cousins for a day of hillbilly fun drinking a beer or two and Bar B Q on a sandbar and come back to discover game’s on here at the platform.

My two cents? Sigh.

I love math. I excelled at it, which is why I started out in engineering. However, I couldn’t excel at engineering because I didn’t have the interest about how things actually work, so the observation about women is somewhat accurate for me. My first year of college taught me that I wasn’t cut out to be an engineer. I still like math and math puzzles.

When I was in the Air Force, I was a radar technician. All that really required was the ability to read and comprehend instructions, then follow directions given in steps. Since I liked math, I understood the algorithms and formulas used to compute the distance to targets and the speed of targets (the Fourier transformation computer on the AWACS plane was leagues ahead of its competition in Russia, from what I gathered, which is why the surveillance platform is still used after almost 50 years.) and could dazzle the best of the officers who asked just how the radar system worked with the mathematics and diagrams to explain. Along with being able to follow instructions, this made me a very (sic) attractive radar tech to put onto the plane for the dog and pony shows for important people. My being a woman who (at the time) wore her jet jammies well didn’t hurt the composition of the equal opportunity crews carefully selected to promote the professionalism of the surveillance wing.

But, I was always a woman. I was married and faithful and didn’t flirt. I was one of the crew, not anyone’s bitch. I loathed the young women who would go on trips with their crew and sleep with one or another of the crew, then use that to blackmail their way to leadership positions they had no business being in. I mentored young women who approached me and wanted to know how I maintained such a high regard amongst the men (and I’m not bragging because it isn’t rocket science). My answer? Do your job well and professionally. Be honest. Don’t shit where you eat, i.e., don’t have intimate relationships with men on your crew. If you have to screw around, do it with other squadron members. That way, it won’t interfere with your chain of command responsibilities.

I am a gourmet cook and would bring homebaked treats onto the flights with my crew, making me crewmom of the squadron. I wasn’t bribing anyone, I just love to cook and be praised for it. I even learned to use the frequency converter onboard the plane used for special test equipment for the radar system (frequency analysis or testing the Fourier measurements inflight for maintenance work), anyway I used the frequency converter to carry a crock pot aboard during 16 hour flights to make chili or stew for 24 or more of my crew family. I was one of two women on the crew and Debbie and I got along famously, though she was a bit more antagonistic toward the crewdogs after flights because she was not married and that made her more of a target for every swinging Tom, Dick and Harry who had two beers and decided she was available for his unasked for advances. She was a small woman, but she could hold her own.

I divorced my jerk of a first husband, which shocked a few people because my personal life was not part of my professional life, and even though many knew him to be an ass, they had no idea I felt the same way. One day, I’d had enough. So, free at last, I acted with the same stoic professionalism and people accepted the new name and usually didn’t ask. Within two years, I went to Iceland and my present husband stepped into a briefing room and that was that.

After I left the Air Force and became a mother, things were different. I discovered maternal bliss and doted on my baby and, by extension, the rest of my family. My stepson was always welcome, except on the rare occasion when he was sullen and angry that he had to go “back there.” My husband and I had the typical arguments about money and stresses of work situations, but we were/are committed to one another and won’t give in to petty differences since they are not worth losing the bond that a true marriage of love and respect.

I graduated college and worked when my son went to school, but always in a position where I would not be taken away from my family. Being a mother first was important to me, since I’d seen the terrible results of poor mothering in any number of situations. My father observed the closeness of my son and I and gave me some hard advice when he was seven and still calling me “Mommy Honey.” He said that in the next couple of years, I needed to cut the apron strings and let my husband take over. I was irritated when he told me that, but took his advice and when my son was ten or so, he began to prefer his father’s company in the garage instead of mine in the kitchen. It is how is should be for men to be men.

So, the lack of a man in a home is tragic. Especially if there is no surrogate (grandfather or uncle) to step in and teach a young man what it is that men are supposed to do. Similarly, if women do not enjoy the role of mother and wife, then they should not assume a family and expect everything to just conform to their will.

But don’t misunderstand my post as saying that women are weak. I’m certainly no one’s doormat. I will stand up for my beliefs, for those I love and for anything that I feel is a threat to me and mine. Nick and I are here because we have certain goals for our life and we need the privacy that our little piece of private hill ground affords us. So, while I’m quite capable of fending for myself in this world, I prefer the company of my husband, my son and when he is able, my stepson.

As for Stucky’s dilemma? I support anyone’s right to their opinion, no matter if it differs from mine and missed the food fight entirely. But I appreciate his friendship and respect his assessment if the thumbsup/down situation. It is rather like our country’s voting system… means nothing except in the minds of those manipulating it.

Sigh… time to put on my raincoat before the monkeys start flinging shit.

Oh, and Stephanie? Excellent ideas.

Why is it so hard,in particular for women, to differentiate between exception and rule?

https://www.americanprogress.org/issues/women/report/2012/12/12/47916/how-women-changed-the-outcome-of-the-election/

1. Women were the majority of voters. According to exit polls 53 percent of the voters in the 2012 elections were women—more than one out of every two voters across the country was a woman. Moreover, 55 percent of those women cast votes for President Barack Obama. Women who voted for President Obama made up 29 percent—nearly one-third—of the electorate.

3. Women decided the election. This past November women determined the outcome of the presidential election. Only in President Bill Clinton’s 1996 victory did a candidate succeed by winning with women and losing with men. Again, according to official exit polls, in both of their first terms in office, President Obama and President Clinton won with both genders. In neither of his campaigns did President George W. Bush win with women, although previous Republican presidents did.

4. The gender gap extends beyond women of color. The gender gap widened considerably with Latinos and African Americans this year, but also with whites. While President Obama’s support with white women declined, his gender gap among whites grew and was the same as former Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry’s gender gap in 2006 and larger than President Clinton’s 1992 gender gap among whites. It was also larger than the gender gap among whites in the last four midterm elections.

. Abortion and women’s health issues played a real role. These extreme views might have driven many women voters to the arms of Democrats. A Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research postelection poll of women who supported President Obama in 2008 and an early December national poll for Planned Parenthood Action Fund both show the issues of abortion and access to birth control helped President Obama more than Gov. Romney. The Planned Parenthood survey found 69 percent of women—5 percentage points higher than all voters—had heard, seen, or read something about Gov. Romney’s plan to “get rid of” federal funding for Planned Parenthood.

With women deciding the presidential election, and with record numbers of women in both the House and the Senate, policies helping women must now be on the front burner. Women determined the outcome of the way the government looks, and it is time for lawmakers to answer the call of the majority of voters in the country and make sure economic fairness, pay equity, and issues of work-family balance are on the top of the policy agenda.

Thank you HSF for getting Mrs HSF’s point of view. In answer to her questions here’s a list of some of the reasons why Fred’s rant pisses me off so much.

Throughout most of the rant Fred says “women” this and “women” that. Not “some women” not “most women”, not “in general”, but just “women”. So he is saying that all women fit his descriptions, which is obviously untrue as those posting who are man enough to have a woman should agree with as they are agreeing to Fred’s statements but excluding their own woman. This type of generalization trivializes women as a group and implies that no woman is capable of acting outside of what he perceives as the negative norm.

Throughout the rant the tone is very negative towards women. Many of the things that he says are true of many women. They are also true of some men. But Fred invariably uses negative words to describe characteristics that are not necessarily negative and then ascribes them to women alone. E.g. only women are bitchy. The reason for this is not that only women exhibit this behavior but that when men exhibit the same behavior we use different, less negative terms, e.g authoritative, agressive, etc.

He blames men’s reactions to things that some women do on the women, not the men. In spite of the fact that our society is heavily manipulated by TPTB and almost entirely run by men, he’s blaming women for the changes in what men are doing. TPTB are running our society and manipulating both men and women through the media, etc. to increase TPTB’s level of control over all of us and by agreeing with Fred you are all buying into the fantasy that TPTB are handing us to keep us distracted and fighting among ourselves rather than fighting them. Makes me wonder if Fred is a TPTB troll.

His first sentence “The United States has embarked, or been embarked, on a headlong rush into matriarchy, something never before attempted in a major country.” is wrong. What he is describing here has as much to do with matriarchy and a true matriarchal society as our current country has to do with democracy.

An ironic piece of trivia from history: The first woman elected to Congress AFTER women were given the vote was Alice Robertson, who ran on a platform to repeal women’s suffrage.

@Welshman… I flew with many of the old heads from Connie days. Fascinating stories from them.

I thought of something worth adding I hope.

One of the women I most despised was a young woman known for her nymphomania on trips to Puerto Rico and other long term trips. On the rare occasion I was forced to room with her, I let her know just how much damage I thought her sleeping with anyone available did to women’s reputations. She just laughed at me and told me to mind my own business.

When she got “caught” in the middle of relations with a Pilot and was turned in for “fraternization” she was going to be courtmartialled. Even though I disliked her intensely for her low morals, I didn’t think it justified a courtmartial just because she happened to have gotten caught in the act with a Pilot instead of another enlisted puke. While awaiting trial, she was assigned to menial tasks and one day I sought her out and told her that even though I had not approved of her behavior, I didn’t want to see her found guilty and sent away to do time for it. She just smiled and thanked me and then told me that she knew the trial would be dismissed before it ever started. I asked her why…

She informed me that if they actually tried her, she was going to take the stand and name names. And she said that once the people in charge saw some of the names she was going to name, they would never allow a court martial to go on.

She ended up being separated with an Article 15 action and married that Pilot, who also was discharged. I kind of hope they ended up happy, because her shrewd assessment of the double standard that both women and enlisted troops lived with was amazingly accurate.

Folks,

I just need some time off, maybe a week or two.

If I had to narrow down the one thing I hate most about America it would be ….. The Liars And Their Lies. Who lies to us? Everyone! Every politician, business leaders, the church, the media, the police, the justice system, even the guy who used to mow our lawn (who overcharged us by well over $100). Liars liars everywhere. And don’t forget, according to Christian tradition is was Satan’s LIE which initiated mankind’s fall from Grace – ““You will not surely die ..”, said the Father Of Lies to Eve.

TBP was a safe-haven from Liars, and their lies. We told each other the Truth, as we saw it. Sometimes folks would agree … and they would show agreement in one of two ways; either by commenting, or more often, by voting thumbs up. Disagreements, likewise, would result in –ahem, cough, cough – spirited discussions, aka shitfests, or by voting thumbs down. That’s how truth was evaluated by readers; comments and votes.

Well meaning folks tell me not to worry about votes. But, when this new site first came up .. and there was no thumbs plug-in … people were clamoring for it. Voting IS a way for people’s opinions to be heard, and we like it. Virtually every single thread in the history of TBP has folks … voting. I like to see what folks think about my viewpoints, and what they think of your viewpoints. Surely, most of you feel the same way.

And, now, thanks to flash, voting has become totally irrelevant. Never again can you know whether 10 votes down is a true reflection of the community here … or, if it’s flash manipulating votes. Flash has effectively silenced YOUR voice when it comes to voting. In just one post, flash destroyed years and years of trust, and truth telling. Flash wants me (and, you) to believe that he has NEVER done this before, that I am the ONLY person he’s done this too … in order to teach me a lesson. Can you believe his hubris?? If there’s one thing my decades of living on this earth has taught me, it is this; never, ever, believe a Liar.

Also, now that the “cat is out of the bag”, others will surely search the web to find out how they can be dirty stinking liars and manipulators. And, that’s exactly what flash is. Think about the kind of person it takes to search the web in order to find a way to lie and manipulate ….. and on a site where Truth is paramount!!

Like it or not, agree or disagree … that’s where I am at this point. Pissed off and terribly sad at the same time. I need time off to figure out whether or not flash and his vote manipulation ways are a show-stopper for me. Or, if I can – as some of you suggest – “get over it”.

By “showstopper”, I do not mean leaving TBP forever. I still have stuff to say. I still enjoy writing and researching. It simply means I won’t make comments on other folk’s threads. So, one possibility I’m toying with is the idea of being a “Guest Editor” … submitting an Original Work every 4-6 weeks, and commenting in that thread – probably mostly to answer questions and/or clarify stuff.

Again, everything is unknown to me at this time, and I need a week or more of silence to figure things out, on my own, without input from others … no matter how helpful the intention. I, and I alone, have to figure this out. Yeah, flash’s duplicity has really thrown me for a loop. That’s MY problem .. not flash’s, not Admin’s, not yours … what I do, and how I handle it, is on me. Maybe I can get over it, maybe not. It is what it is. Give me a week or so.

This is only my opinion so take it for what it is worth to you.

As the citizens of Greece recently found out voting is over rated. Because if voting was that important governments would outlaw it.

A thumb down like an anonymous vote is a chicken-shit way of doing things anyways. It means nothing and changes nothing.

Maggie -I didn’t like the people pretending to be other people or the subterfuge some people used, but it seemed rare in the days when I first decided to pipe up and say something of note.

Then you don’t like Stuck, because he practically invented the dopple ?

It won’t be the first time, but he’ll still dopple in though. TBP is in his blood the way oxygen is in the air…he can’t live without it.

ROTKs take Fred’s argument to a whole ‘nother level.

http://www.returnofkings.com/67725/american-women-are-only-good-for-one-thing

Made up qualities women think men want
Strength

The definition of a “strong woman” varies from person to person but in 2015 a strong woman is basically a female who runs off at the mouth, posts memes about how strong she is as a woman, and has a jaded disposition—a direct result of being fucked and chucked on the regular.

She was likely crying because she found out she was the side piece instead of the main chick. Story of her life.

Women are mentally fragile. If someone hurts her feelings, she either cries or has a breakdown on the spot. And of course they’re the smaller, weaker sex. Any “strength” they have is because of their ability to quickly recruit white knights to defend them.

Even if women had the strength they pretend to have, it’s not what men are looking for. Girls don’t want weak men so what makes them think we want “strong” women?

As men, we have all the physical strength and cerebral brawn we need (more on this in a bit). We want women who add to our lives and bring something to the table we don’t currently have. We don’t want or need a surplus of a fraudulent commodity women claim to have that turns out to be more of a headache than an asset—especially when they’re trying to prove it to you, themselves, and everyone around them all the time.

No thanks hun…I’m good

Men want a woman’s support, deference, and sexual loyalty—not her “strength.”

“Oooohhhh you just can’t handle a strong woman can you??”

Actually I manhandle them…and never call them again. But don’t worry, they’re “strong” enough to move on from getting humped and dumped by assholes like me which will free her up to find a man who will appreciate her “inner strength.”

…ever notice those strong and dependents FB posters by women receiving alimony checks from ex-husband and state… Fred should take lessons from ROTK..

American women are only good for sex. Point blank.

They’re shitty parents who can’t cook and seem unwilling and incapable of improving in either area. Then the “smart” and “strong” ones are so busy trying to compete with us and every other male out there that they not only forget how to be feminine, they don’t realize that men don’t want or need their make believe brains or white knight-powered strength.

Stucky There is a scene in the “Godfather” movie where brando slaps the shit out of Johnny Fontaine the famous singer and says, “Act like a man”. Who has done been girled here?

“If I had to narrow down the one thing I hate most about America it would be ….. The Liars And Their Lies. Who lies to us? Everyone! Every politician, business leaders, the church, the media, the police, the justice system, even the guy who used to mow our lawn (who overcharged us by well over $100). Liars liars everywhere.”

TBP was the safehaven from liars? Do dopplegangers make the list of liars somewhere? I got sucked into at least one of your doppel episodes and ended up wasting time from my life on it. You got a good laugh out of it. Me? Not so much. But as long as YOU had fun I guess it was ok. Too bad you’re not as generous toward flash when he decided to have a bit of fun. Somebody really needs to put out a list of rules around here.

At first I thought you were yanking our chain with your outrage over the thumbzy game. To each his own I guess. Take a break, we all need one from time to time. We’ll still be here when you get back.

flash says: EC ….if you will , take notice of the wedding band the lizzie creature acting as the man wears on her FU finger…is she sending some sort of subliminal message , you think?

Yes, the man tats on her arm also attempt to look menacing. She acts menacing toward the little boy who shies away from her towards his mom. Why couldn’t she act loving? This man-hater was too fucking lazy to become a whore. Also, notice how mom fakes her inability to smile with a duck lips pose. This is quite an interesting picture, sad but interesting. A pretend-normal everyday scene you didn’t see 30 or 40 years ago.

Westy, my buddy was infantry, he said there was a systematic rotation schedule where everybody got fucked. There was no escaping it, when your number came up, you got shafted big time with no points for good behavior. I believe women’s number came up.

Stuck – hope you come back soon. You are a giant here.

But please think of this – you are the renouned king of doppling. It is a classic around here, and you have got e wth that more than once. Quite funny.

When I saw someone had hit you with a gazillion thumbs down, I was a little amused. I took it as a once off bit of semi-doppling. I do not think thumb-gaming is epidemic. And it is usually very evident.

Hope to see you soon. I am sure I owe you an ass-kicking for something or other.

Your Injun buddy, Llpoh.
