REAL LIFE???

Campbell’s going for that .0001% demographic as their sales continue their 20 year decline. They should show the two dads using their light sabers later that night.

That’s just fucked up!

Pushing the agenda to the unwashed that this shit is mainstream and not the perverted bullshit it is. I’m really glad I never fell for the SW hype. Make your own soups from scratch………starting with bone broth……….and help finish Campbell’s off.

Yeah, I know they’re supposed to be faigele, but how many little kids are living with their mommies’ divorce-and-remarriage? And two (or more) “daddies” in their lives?

How many husbands and ex-husbands have to cooperate amicably (or at least SEEM to do so) for the sake of the kids’ peace of mind?

People are still eating canned soup?

I guess its best to target people who make poor lifestyle choices if you happen to be selling crappy products with little or no value to your health and well being. Plus they just picked up an additional 15,000 customers to make up for the tens of millions they just lost to Progresso, I suppose that’s a win in advertising circles these days.

And if what you make is healthy, why would you spend a half million dollars trying to keep people from finding out what’s in the can?

“Throughout 2012, Campbell’s contributed $500,000 to a political campaign known as “The Coalition Against The Costly Food Labeling Proposition, sponsored by Farmers and Food Producers” This organization was set up to oppose a citizen’s initiative, known as Proposition 37, demanding mandatory labeling of foods containing genetically modified ingredients.”

As the Fourth Turning progresses, the middle class will continue to shrink (it just came out that the middle class is no longer in the majority) and debt will be unsustainable. A day will come when the food stamps (SNAP) and housing vouchers become worthless. Major cities will explode into violence, with Muslim terrorism added into the mix. Martial law will be declared and all debts will simply be declared null and void.

The society that emerges from the chaos will be quite different than what we have now. Enjoy!!

The whole purpose is to keep poking the decency of America in the eye. Yes, Campbell’s soup has a advertising executive that just cost his company millions. They ignore the obvious for the sake of PC!

What’s with the way that guy is holding a spoon? It’s like he’s never handled a utensil before. Have you ever watched a movie where one of the actors has to sweep a broom or mop a floor?

Check this clip out-

HSF, that’s not an actor, that’s an urban Millenial doing his best to get on the dole so he can stop going through the motions for a living!

The way the mind works, when we are confronted by any new event -anything we have not done or experienced before- our brain searches prior memories for the closest thing that matches it and brings it into our interpretation of the event to give it meaning are produce either a conscious acceptance or rejection of it. We tend to respond to the situation in the same manner that the remembered situation was responded to. (this is why babies have a different reaction to the new than an older person does, no prior memories to draw on)

Most information input to the brain is visual and becomes a part of our memory as our experience of the world.

Visual (video) presentation of behavior tends to be accepted and become a part of our core thinking without conscious processing and is embedded in our brain the same way behavior we actually observe is. You react to future similar situations and either approve or disapprove -accept or reject- them as if those artificial memories and responses were actually our own real ones and from our own real experience.

This has been demonstrated over and over again in psychological experimental research (since way back with the Bandura Bobo doll demonstrations) and this is why this sort of thing is being done by our advertising industry.

Some people catch on to this and reject it, most people don’t and just find their personalities and beliefs subtly altering themselves over time without realizing it was done to them and not something they learned for themselves from their real life experiences.

Again, visually presented information is absorbed into our core personality as if it were the real life experiences we have had, the closer to a real life situation it is the more likely it is to go unnoticed as it does so. We recall it every time we encounter a similar situation and respond in a like manner to it as we did previously based on the outcome of the experience.

This is obviously a simplistic explanation, entire academic books have been written about it.

Totally unrealistic. They should use the demographic I see buying soup in walmart. 500 lb landwhales on scootypuffs yelling at their 8year olds about how the dad is a lazy piece of shit. Fuck well dressed, mentally stable gay guys. How dare they push their agenda of decency and decorum!

I agree that canned soup is shit.

However, how many of you were fed Chef Boy R Dee canned spaghetti, Dinty Moore beef stew, for lunch when you were a kid?

I think we need to coin a new term. Free Shit Army came from here lets rock out another meme.

This is nothing but Huxley Noise. It is a controversial item used to smoke screen the fact that we are being fucked at every turn. We can add almost all the ” conspiracy theory” bullshit that floats the interwebs. Add the left right demrepub lies and the fake Government reports showing unicorn poop everywhere.

Huxley Noise.

There are many other brands of soup. I imagine they employ lots of faggots on purpose and there may be some ingredients not listed on the label.

A pet peeve of mine is all these gay/lesbian and black people represented in TV advertisements and TV shows in much higher proportion than their population. Blacks are only 14% of the US population, yet they are shown much more than that on TV. Are they targeted in ads because they spend much more than other groups? Suddenly they have lots of money to spend?

I’d don’t get 75% of the tv spots these days and I’ve been in the ad biz most of my life. Just who the fuck are they targeting and wtf is their message? IMO 98% of national ads are waste.
