Trump to Hillary: If guns don’t keep you safe, disarm your bodyguards

NEW YORK, Jan. 4 (UPI) — Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump challenged Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton to travel without armed bodyguards to prove that guns don’t keep people safe.
“Hillary said that guns don’t keep you safe. If she really believes that she should demand that her heavily armed bodyguards quickly disarm!” Trump said Sunday in a Twitter post.

As a former First Lady and now as a presidential candidate, Clinton has had the protection of armed Secret Service guards. She also has a long record of favoring gun control, and in October said if elected president she’ll take executive action to curb gun sales, involving restrictions on people regarded as dangerous.

President Barack Obama is expected to issue executive orders this week to place more restrictions on gun sellers. Trump has said if elected president he would immediately veto or “unsign” any executive action on guns that violated the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

I suspect she will not respond. No way she will go out in a crowd without her gun carrying guards.

Never understood how regulating law abiding citizens somehow stops criminals wrt to guns.

None of the recent mass shootings would have been prevented by any gun laws whatsoever.

Even some Democrats think Obama and Hillary are wrong on this.

I believe the end result of US gun confiscation will be mirror image of Saudis, make no mistake they will round up dissidents.Ferral black mobs will have nothing holding them back from rape, murder and kicking in doors.Add to that Syrian m brotherhood and their constant violent behavior as seen all over the world.I believe to keep the peace arm every man woman and (child age appropriate)

Robert,

I think our political leaders and their body guards are exempt in gun free zones.

Those zones are meant for you and me, not the elite that establish them.

Hillary enters gun free zones, but I’ve never seen a lack of her body guards in them when she does.

The reason, of course, is that they are more important than us and therefore need the protection we are denied.

Bigger picture is Trump himself, the populist with an uncanny knack for pushing hot-button issues and framing the debate without accepting politically correct limitations. He puts the Clinton Crime Family Campaign on defense by this simple assertion, “…disarm if guns don’t keep you safe”. He did the same with the Slick Willie Bimbo Parade by denying Hillary the powerful War on Women Theme unless she wished to defend her philandering husband.

Hillary has proven over and over she can’t deal effectively with being thrown off her carefully scripted playbook. She can’t handle spontaneity – a critical attribute – so Trump’s challenges vividly illustrate her competency deficit, to include a lack of humor. Trump denying Hillary the use of her favorite lines is the military equivalent of denying ground and reinforcement to your opposition.

Whether she responds to his challenge or not is immaterial. Her naked hypocrisy is on display for all to see.

Trump is proving to be a force to be reckoned with. Hillary is simply outclassed.

First story I saw on Drudge after posting the above is this:

“At a rally this morning in New Hampshire, Hillary Clinton did not answer a question about this claim, saying it is her New Year’s resolution to ignore Donald Trump.”

What a great policy! Just ignore the guy who’s eating your lunch! Shouldn’t take long to see how this works out.

What happened to “let’s have a conversation” or, “we need to dialogue”?

This is classic “withdrawal from all the bad people” that the libs are famous for. Failure to engage is not leadership. Her next step will be to demonize and emotionally charge her crowds with the “he’s a bad man” mantra.

Pathetic. This is how the four in Benghazi got killed. Shrinking from leadership, fear of failure.

“What happened to “let’s have a conversation” or, “we need to dialogue”? “.

That is usually libspeak for *you need to agree with me”, sometimes with an implied “or else” behind it.

Watching Obama’s press conference this morning, I was more amazed (than usual) at how tone deaf he is. He makes statements about “the vast majority of Americans want more gun control” when, in fact, polls and gun sales suggest otherwise. He was especially careful to state toward the end that these new controls were just the beginning and that the long-term strategy (unstated, but complete bans on guns understood) was a matter of waiting it out. He likened it to women’s right to vote and abolition of slavery — that both didn’t happen overnight but were nonetheless important.

I don’t think they realize that the tighter they make the regulations, the faster they’ll turn law-abiding citizens into law breakers. Or maybe they do, but that’s part of the plan.

Hmmm

Given that Bernie Sanders just gave Obama a rousing endorsement for his latest violations of the 2nd Amendment he too should be publicly called out to disarm himself and his bodyguards………..Which of course raises the question as to why the media never allows Sanders to be attacked and rarely criticized.

At least Trump has enough courage to take on stupid and criminals. Almost makes me want to vote for him. Reminds me of TR. Balls to wall full speed ahead.

It is funny how easily you can utterly destroy an ideological position, yet millions of dumbed down fools will keep voting for it. I can only conclude that they are simply too stupid to understand the significance of hypocrisy. If somebody is saying one thing, yet doing something completely different in practice, they are in fact full of shit, and should be treated as such.

Reported on CBC radio news today in Canada, that the PRES was weeping, when warning up for the gun grabber speechy thing. Really?????
If so, why?
Because the best of pals in Saudi Land were officially chopping heads?
Because prescription drugged (Paxil and Zoloft) citizens go wonky and mass murder?
Or, maybe a practice run for a future career in Hollywood.
Reversing The former PRES’S journey.

Somebody must know.

46 people who were close to the Clintons have died during their 3 decades of political power. That number should give us all pause. If Hillary Clinton was a Republican, that number would be the question asked by reporters every day.

Now, the latest to be added to the list, maintained by WhatReallyHappened.com, is Walter Scheib. He was hired by the Clinton White House to work as a Chef, and continued to serve the Bush administration. Interestingly, he was reported missing during a hike, and his body was found almost 2 miles away at the bottom of a river. No cause of death has ever been made, but the death date is listed as June 13, 2015.
