I didn’t see The Big Short when it was released. I understood what happened, why it happened, knew no one was actually held accountable for the ignorance, fraud and criminality (this perspective is largely in part to Admin’s writings here on TBP).
I was in no way surprised when no meaningful regulations or changes would be enacted by the US govt that was bought and paid for a long time ago even after the losses were thrown on the backs of the American citizen (mainly their unborn children). Every president alive today holds some culpability, from the Clinton admin’s repeal of Glass-Steagall to the bailouts of GW’s admin and then the utter failure of the Wall Street owned Obama who could have made banking fraud prosecution a focus as soon as he took office; instead he moved onto the boondoggle that is the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare).
But it was recently added to Netflix so I watched it on the treadmill over the last 2 mornings. My only disappointment is not having seen it earlier.
It is an outstanding film and everyone should watch it, especially now that it’s extremely convenient to do so. Bale and Carrell (along with his crew) were the standouts in my mind. If you haven’t seen it, go watch it.
But:
The parallels to the criminality of Clinton and Wall Street are frightening indecipherable. We’ve seen it at every step; the Deep State doesn’t play games that aren’t rigged in their favor.
I was left with a singular feeling/thought immediately after finishing the movie.
Hillary Clinton will be the next President.

I will repeat what I said a few days ago: Across the Internet, the Comments on relevant articles that involve U.S. politics are at a stark contrast to Comments of 4 years ago. At least 90% of Comments bash Obama today (or his policies) whereas 4 years ago 60% were on their knees lapping at his crotch.
This tells me that Trump will win big.
maybe that would matter if they were elected. but they aren’t.
it’s a combination of a feeling as well as logic and I compare it to months ago when we were waiting for the FBI “results” and if Hillary was going to be indicted and I was all but 100% sure she was going to escape responsibility. a few older friends were sure it was a slam dunk, you know because laws and justice; they disagreed and considered my sentiment pessimistic. betting against the Clintons is like trying to bet against the Fed, you’ll go bankrupt before they see the consequences of their criminality.
It’s all a mathematical equation, what we think are constants with locked in values are really variables that can be changed on the fly by a select few behind the scenes.

My basic thought process is that it’s still close and if its plausibly close it will be rigged for her to win and the majority will go home with their tail between their legs, counting down a likely painful 1460 days. If it actually isn’t plausibly close it will still be rigged for her to win but there is a possibility (slim) that strong opposition will arise and potentially violent (think BLM-lite) which will lead her to implement more controls. think checkpoints, surveillance and firearms confiscations.
there is a lot of strong sentiment for trump online but one key indicator i’ve seen is on the firearm forums. the pessimistic view that we will be dealing with at least 4 years of Hillary is growing.
i have a good friend who is 100% anti-trump that thinks he’ll be the worst president ever.
my reply to him was i actually expect trump to be the worst president ever, because every president has been worse than their predecessor during our lives (born in ’81) and its easier to expect the curve to continue. but i will vote for trump because i don’t want hillary to be the last president ever.

Sorry the game is rigged. Trump may win the popular vote by ten million or more but that vote does not count. What counts is the individual state elector votes. Look at history Kennedy won a close race with West Virginia and Ohio rigged. Bush won with a rigged Florida and Hillary will win with a rigged Midwest vote in either Ohio or Wisconsin. Just ask Bernie how the DNC fucked him over. So bend over folks the power driver is not Trump.

It all comes down to turnout. Have you seen her rallies? I mean these things are pathetic. Google them. There are literally hundreds of peoples at these rallies. And they are lame. No enthusiasm whatsoever. Compare that to Trumps rallies. Yuge. People waiting outside overflow capacity. He’s like a rock star. Now is he hurting himself with some of the stupid things he’s saying?
