I had a thought (scary I’ll admit); imagine if the presidential term limit was 12 years and not 8 and the power elites had an even greater hold on the the (s)election process.

it’s simply a thought experiment that when i thought of it made me physically ill.
my buddy keeps dumping on trump and he asked why i can’t “see” the problems with him. my reply was that i do see problems with him but hillary is literally the worst person in the US. not in the worst 0.1%, she is the #1 worst person. so even if Obama is like #3, hillary would still be worse.

Voting matters, particularly this time with the Supreme court in the balance and up for grabs to the winning side (and there are actually two sides this time).
Do you want the Constitution to decide what America is or do you want nine old people with political agenda’s to decide?

There is already one and potentially as many as five positions that will be filled over the next several years, think about it.

This is because two terms is all that is needed for them to achieve their true goal: getting filthy rich using their newly achieved power and connections in the private sector. 8 years is long enough to wait to get filthy rich, 12 is perhaps too much as they become too old to take full advantage.
