How Did the Media and Pollsters Get the Election So Wrong?

The answer is quite simple. It wasn’t an innocent mistake. The polls are owned and run by left wing media corporations and left wing academic institutions. They were used as propaganda to convince the ignorant masses they should vote for a sure winner – Crooked Hillary. The lesson learned is that the corporate media is part of the establishment and should never be trusted.

We looked at the predictions made by 12 major newspapers and pollsters the day before the election, to see where they went wrong.

For Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and New Hampshire – not a single source gave an edge to Republicans.

Correct Tossup Wrong Fail%
Pennsylvania 0 0 12 100%
Wisconsin 0 0 12 100%
Michigan* 0 0 12 100%
New Hampshire* 0 1 11 92%
Florida 1 3 8 67%
North Carolina 2 2 8 67%

Note: at time of publishing, Michigan and New Hampshire are very close and leaning Republican. The point still stands. Every pollster said these states were “likely” or “leaning” Democrat. For Florida and North Carolina, the pollsters were slightly less reckless. The Associated Press correctly had the Sunshine State as “leaning red”, while the Huffington Post saw North Carolina ultimately voting Trump.

After this and the Brexit polling disaster, the media is sure to be much more cautious with their models going into the next big political event.

Want evidence the polls were frauds? Look at Trump’s rally schedule the last few days of the campaign. Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Wisconsin, Iowa, New Hampshire, Michigan. Obviously his internal polling was accurate, or he wouldn’t have been in those states. And he spent more money on hats than he did polling.

I have made the comment here on more than one occasion. My old neighbor when we lived in NJ was the CEO of one of the top polling companies in the US. One evening at a cocktail party I asked him flat out how they got results that appeared- at least to me at that time- to be so far off base about certain topics. He was inebriated and with a sly smile leaned in and said, “We get the results that the people who pay us want.”

Polls aren’t free. Pollsters and their boiler rooms filled with $7 an hour subliterate robo callers cost money. Someone writes the check that pays for the service. Like the media they take in and redistribute huge sums of money and that money comes from people who want a specific outcome. Those people are of a certain ideological bent and they are willing to sacrifice the reputations and even- as we can clearly see with print media- the entire apparatus if it delivers to them what they seek. The owners of the NYT may be losing money as it swirls around the drain, but they are making even more in areas you and I cannot begin to imagine as their interests and connections are woven in a Byzantine fabric that we have only glimpsed via Wikileaks.

Trust nothing you read, nothing you hear, nothing you see that emanates from portals of the State. Trust only your gut, your instinct, your inner voice and most of God to discern what it is that counts as reality and truth for everything else is falsity and deceit.

Went to high school with a guy who works in intelligence though he won’t say for who but he was/is involved with the “terrorists” at GITMO and other foreign locations. With regard to terrorism and terrorists he told a bunch of us the exact same thing, nearly word for word as HSF said it. He said that there was never a single instance where what he saw and experienced himself aligned even remotely with what the govt reported.

I spoke with my brother the other night about the telephone based polls. I live in Germany so I have not experienced any of it personally.

He said, the questions they posed were so leading and he just told them what they wanted to hear and not how he was really going to vote.

So when people knowingly fuck with pollsters because they are telling you how should reply, you can’t on the accuracy of the polls.

The polls are not undertaken to determine how the people are thinking, but rather they are created to control and shape how the people think. Watch the classic Frank Luntz video where he brags about it. I think that was back in 2007-8 when the media was actively at work suppressing Ron Paul votes in the primaries.

The polls were a set up to get the American public to accept a Hillary win without challenging it.

The MSM fully expected the fraudulent vote (which, including the Obama advocated illegals, could be as many as six million) to carry here to victory and they wouldn’t need to explain anything since it was in accord with the polls they had been presenting.

The “popular vote” minus the fraudulent vote actually went for Trump, but no one has pushed this point so far because Trump won anyway and it doesn’t make any difference now.

The MSM seems in shock by their failure to rig the election for Hillary Their reaction to it, and how it will be changing focus as it progresses, is what will be most interesting to observe. They’re not going to just give up ya’ know, they will be trying something to regain their sides political power and that probably won’t involve accepting Trump’s legitimate win.

I don’t understand it, I knew he had FL and NC going in. Never a concern, knew it came down to getting PA or MI. Just crunched the #’s at hand, looked at THEIR data. How can a regular CPA off the street know more than alllll these “experts”? Hmmm…

The good news here is that it didn’t work. The deplorables were smart enough to not believe the propaganda.

Hardscrabble nails it. Their journalistic credibility arguably matters only to the degree that it maintains their business model of selling their product. When they can make more money by selling their soul than selling their product, they will. After this election, though, we’ve seen through their ruse. Their soul is worthless. Nothing they say can be believed.

That polls are used to affect election outcomes is not new. What is perhaps of more recent vintage is the difficulty in creating a valid sample. Forty or fifty years ago the United States was a nation where everyone had a landline telephone and your zip code told a pollster your race and income.

Today polling is more akin to stock market analysis where past performance is used to determine future results. I saw a table of voting results that claimed 94% of black men in New York state voted Democrat but only 92% of black women did. How do they know that? There is no breakdown of the vote by race or gender. Names are ambiguous and are unavailable anyway. Race, gender, age, income are crucial to determining voting patterns but that data is not verifiable to pollsters except for the self identified answers given by the person being polled. I can claim to be a married black female with an income of $1,000,000 per year and the pollster has to accept that is who I am. Thus we get more and more garbage in that is processed as garbage out.

In light of that the pollsters didn’t do too badly except you could reasonably expect any national election to be in the range of 55-45%

What Admin. said…never trust them. I no long watch/listen
to cable news or any television. But the big screens sits there,
taking up valuable space, so the Mr. can watch any DVD he owns.
I would advise others to disconnect. Starve them out.

In the face of clear Wikileaks evidence of the Clinton campaign wining and dining the MSM (except Fox) why would the public get anything other than the projection of Clinton invincibility and power through her media minions? It is also clear from Wikileaks that the Clintons BOUGHT most of the polls outright. When you buy polls they skew them to get the result the buyer is paying them to get.

Duh!
