September 1983 Santa Barbara County Bowl. Saw the Talking Heads and Elvis Costello there in the same month. Easy life: Mountain biking; drugs and a little work to support the habits.
What a fun band…after suffering through the seventies watching “super groups” drag on and on the eighties exploded with fresh talent giving all the ability to experience some thing new. The Heads were out in front. I`m pleased to admit I watched them a total of four or five times in concert NEVER a bad show.

Damn, just watching Byrne perform “Burning down the house” live makes ME tired! What an energetic artist!

Talk about energetic, during the concert they performed “Burning Down the House” immediately followed by “Life During Wartime.” All that running in place.

Since we just finished an election, perhaps “Slippery People” is in order.
Here are two songs from the “Stopping Making Sense” concert that didn’t make the cut into the movie. Why not? I don’t know, because they’re both great songs.
