Black History (aka Demonize White America) Month
As a black conservative Republican, I have been called a traitor to my race. All my life, blacks have maligned me for not relating to fellow human beings through an invisible divisive wall of race. I deal with people as individuals. Good and bad people come in all colors.
Here we are, folks, another Black History Month. How awesomely inspiring it would be if powerful black voices in media, education, and politics used the occasion to celebrate blacks who achieved success via self-reliance, education, hard work and right choices?
Sadly, every Black History Month, Leftists rip the scab off old racial wounds. Their goal is to anger black youths rather than inspiring them to follow extraordinary blacks’ paths to excellence. Leftists want blacks to forever view themselves as victims of white racist America where cops murder them at will. The truth is, America is the greatest land of opportunity on the planet. Unfortunately, far too many blacks have been duped into believing that remaining loyal Democrat voters is the only way to keep racist white America at bay.

My oldest and closest friend in the world happens to be “not like me” (although he is more like me than anyone else I have ever known, but that’s a character thing) and he has never in his life needed anyone’s help. He has never seen himself as anything other than a man and he has lived a man’s life- dependent upon his own resources, abilities, and talents and it has served him quite well. His children have followed in his footsteps and are a testament to what having a good example for a Father can do for people.
Depending on others to provide opportunities for yourself is the kind of mistake that only magnifies over time. Allowing people to stand on their own two feet is the best help anyone can offer.
I’m a superintendent for a commercial construction company in Texas. 99.99% of our work is subcontracted out, and my job, primarily, is to orchestrate the subs in the correct place at the correct time. The majority of the worker bees are Hispanic.
Occasionally, I have to hire day laborers for a day of sweeping the jobsite, cleaning the streets, picking up lunch trash, etc. When you call a day labor service, like Labor Ready or similar, you can expect the bottom of the barrel, in terms of worker quality. You may have to go through 100 men before you find one that’s half way decent. And that’s considering it’s mandatory that you lower your standards as to what a worker should be and do. There’s a reason these guys are not already gainfully employed somewhere else, with a reputable firm.
Now, with that being said, I treat every human being on my jobsite like a human being, regardless of skin color. I’ve had numerous people comment on this over the years. It’s genuine, because I believe everyone should be treated with respect, regardless of their station in life and the color of their skin. At least at first.
I would much rather see a Hispanic day laborer show up than a black person. Occasionally, you will find a black man that will work, particularly if he’s a little older. But if he’s a black man in his 20’s, you can forget about it. He’s worthless as tits on a boar hog. I had one guy who didn’t want to get his new boots dirty. I sent him home within the first hour.
There was one guy I had on board for a while, and he was a good enough worker. But he was so needy, it was really frustrating. He was into the gibs-me-dats. Free gloves. Free safety glasses. A ride home. More money. Free lunch. It seemed like he was always working an angle to get more for less. Finally, we parted company. I like the guy, well enough, for a day laborer, but after a while, the whole gibs-me-dat really wore me down.
I don’t know what the solution is. Frankly, I think Billy is probably right. There are definitely some good black folks out there. But I’m not going to sort through a bus load of them to find the 2 good ones. And chances are, the good ones were probably raised with white, middle-class values.
I think Billy said that voluntary separation is the only answer. People should be allowed to live where they want to live. If the white folks want to earn enough money to buy a home in a predominantly white, upper middle class neighborhood, they should be able to. If a black family wants to produce enough in life to also be able to move into that neighborhood, they should also be able to. On the other hand, if a black man wants to laze around all day, trying to get more for less, he should be forced to live where he can afford to live. ie, the ghetto.
I re-read what I just wrote. I don’t think I actually answered Stucky’s question at all. That went in an entirely different direction than I planned. Oh, well. It is what it is, at this point.

Advice:
Get an education, it’s free for the taking.
We should have the “Black History 45 Minutes”. That would be about enough time – inventions? let’s see: fried chicken, fried catfish, watermellon.
Thank god, at the end of February, we can go back to white history year.

If what is said about black IQ is correct then it’s hopeless. Average black IQ is 85 so I have read in various articles.White IQ is 100 on average.Maybe this is the real reason blacks can’t make a functioning society.
For several years, I have asked: “What IS this ‘Hope and Change’?” Nobody could define what it meant. The other day I read an article that I think might clear this up.
In the article, they interviewed four or five blacks. What I got out of it was they are basically a stupid lot, and they expected Obama (because he looked like them) to transform their lives. Not one of them could say what they wanted – but they wanted something better. It’s obvious to me that they expected some kind of hand-out, something more, something should be bestowed on them, just for being black.
Some complained about being stuck in the same job – not one said what they did to try and improve themselves, to get a different job. This is where the stupidity and lack of awareness shows: they don’t realize that it’s this way for everyone – and you need to work to change things.
They all admitted, that after eight years, they were no better off.

Advice: Stay in school, don’t get knocked up or get anyone pregnant until you’re married.
I remind them that if they are unhappy here, they can move back to Africa. Where their own people will treat them the way they really deserve to be treated.
Oddly, I do not believe that more than a handful of them have actually moved to Africa, and stayed.

I gave a negro an hour long ride, and then picked him up later. He knocked on my door wearing a tie and properly fitting clothes. His car had broken down, and he needed to use my phone to call the human resources at the job he was headed to interview at. So I took him there instead. Later after he had worked there a few weeks, he came by with his wife and thanked me. Gave me a loaf of banana bread she had made. Delicious. I mentioned this the other night while out and about with friends having a beer that it looks like we are going thru a gate in history. The only thing left to decide is which Post Office on Polish Border gets bombed.
I am sick of of racism. I believe the whole thing/and discussions
would wither if we just ignored racism. However, blacks themselves
won’t let that happen. Every day some big incident occurs…either
violence or crazy classless remarks from John Lewis and Maxine Waters.
So, it becomes increasingly harder to ignore. Quarrelsome, ungrateful, and
constantly complaining people. What a drag.
What have I done for them, paid well in the 6 figures in taxes every year for a long time.
