Wait a minute. Feed the homeless? I have some personal experience with that one. Some homeless shelter did a little digging and discovered a little city owned triangle of land abutting the golf course behind my house and set up shop feeding the homeless there. What a disaster. It was a beacon for every bum within 20 miles, and within a couple of months there were hundreds of them dining in style twice a day. A little secret. When homeless people are finished dining, the next stop for them is a nice nap somewhere. Since they don’t have a home, my home and my neighbors homes would have to do. So picture 150-200 homeless fanning out into the shrubbery in the nearby yards and the golf course. The great thing about shrubbery is, not only can it serve as an inviting place for a nap, but it doubles as a bathroom when they wake up. It took almost a year for my neighbors and I to get that feeding program shut down, the libtards at the city fought us tooth and nail, even though we paid more residential property taxes than anybody else in town. That incident was a big part of my political awakening, libs putting the welfare of bums over the safety and welfare of tax paying citizens.
You didn’t mention how grateful the young FSA Welfare Maggots are these Latter Days. A Doper who killed a motorcyclist and lost his license asked me to take him 50 miles for free to get his VA meds; I said call the local welfare transportation folks. He got snotty and said Goodness will provide. Contrary to their thinking, we don’t owe them crap.
