FRIDAY FAIL

Inappropriate Halloween Costume of the Day

From the product description:

IMPORTANT NOTE: Recommended height for this costume is between 5’8″ to 6′ tall. Any shorter than this and you may experience problems inflating this costume to full effect. Any taller and the costume will be overstretched and probably an uncomfortable fit.

I’m leaning towards the Inflatable King Dong Penis costume being a win, in a most offensive Halloween costume way:

Aside from having way too many of the same Mercedes to sell, what exactly is wrong that I am missing with the cars?

It’s the exact same car with a lower and lower price.

Well the ad shows different “Vin #”s for each, although those numbers shown are definitely not VINs…
Photos are all slightly different (hard to say if the car is the same in each photo).
Price fluctuates, but does not trend down. I assumed the pricing is based on mileage, hence the slightly different figures.

It’s a “stock photo”. Common practice to depict the TYPE of auto for sale, but not the actual automobile.

The truck in the tunnel probably could have made it out if they let most of the air out of the tires. Was the guy on top of the truck trying to push the shocks down by jumping up and down?

That pic of the axle coming out of the rear end housing is something I saw happen in real time once. I was entering a long straight bridge on one end and a Jeep pickup with the failed axle entered from the other end. I always scan the road ahead when driving and noticed something was wrong right away but it took a few seconds to realize exactly what was wrong. I was side by side with another car (two lanes each way) when I figured it out so I hit the brakes knowing that when the axle finally came fully out still attached to the wheel/tire it was going to be impossible to predict it’s landing/bounce points.

I came to a full stop and right at that time the axle found freedom. The car next to me kept going and the axle went through her windshield axle first followed by the wheel/tire missing the driver by inches. She never even saw it coming. Her car was totaled.

I saw the hitch break loose on a trailer once that was also unchained from its tow vehicle as it entered a freeway just ahead of me in NC once. I hit the brakes and pulled completely off the road as two cars, behind me and next to me both rolled as they tried extreme maneuvers to avoid a collision with the trailer.

It always pays to constantly scan the road ahead! I learned that when racing go-karts and late model cars!
