Carlin’s theme sounds very compelling. It is also very similar to speeches I heard from Castro, Chavez, Evo Morales and even Peron, but , without the “humor”
Be careful my friends. There has always been social strata, cultural and economic. The real question to ask yourself, is who would YOU prefer to have the wealth? Those that produce it or those that distribute it. ?

You sound terribly angry, and your reaction is sad .
Name calling in an argument is , to piss you off more . stupid
Try for a minute to take a look at any historical class uprising , from Castro to Chavez, from Mao to Stalin and tell yourself that the “destruction” of existing society resulted in a better life for those you wish to champion.Every one of those uprisings resulted in tens of millions of deaths of citizens and the result was that an oppressive dictatorial regime Fucked the people even worse than the old regime.

I believe my vote counts because I voted for Trump and he has already accomplished a lot of why I voted for him with more to come.

And it is certainly something very, very different than Hillary would be doing had I and many insignificant millions of others not elected Trump instead.

Oh yeah things with Hillary would have been sooooo much worse. We could have more gov’t health care being shoved up our asses. We could have had Goldman Sachs running the countries finances. We could be on the verge of war with Russia. We could have had the 1% gaining ever more advantage. We could have had gov’t ever expanding. We could have had an embarrassing asshole narcissist in the white house.

Hey pal, vote in one hand and shit in the other and tell me which one fills up faster.

Zombies, Rider. They’re just zombies who are programmed to think their guy or gal cares about them. They run around yelling and screaming how their candidate will make things better. Then when the shouting is over and the Oligarchy party rears its ugly head, the Zombies will wring their hands, shake their heads and declare “never again will I be fooled.” Then 4 years later the same thing happens, and in the case of 2016 even more will vote. The wars never end. The Keynesians never are too far from the economic power center, or the printing press, the government continues to grow, more laws and statutes are put in effect to combat the blowback of Empiring, all at the cost of less liberty, higher taxes and a lower standard of living. The Zombies? They will continue to vote and think they’ve done a good deed.

Knowledge. Free thinking. Getting the info out that wars are bad. Keynesian economics are wrong. An oligarchy rules our country. Voting sure hasn’t worked, has It? Until people unite and say “no” to what is being done to them, it’s quite hopeless. A peaceful revolution by saying enough is enough. That’s my answer.

EDIIT UPDATE: For some reason I can not reply to razzle. So I will here. Razzle needs to look no further than United States history to see that my solution has worked not only once, but several times. If he reads about the Fugitive Slave Act he will see that by saying no the state of Wisconson dealt a severe blow to the Federal government by not returning runaway slaves. There are also cases of individual slaves not returned because entire northern towns decided to say no when told they had to release them to the Feds. There are also cases when a jury has said no to a law they have found unconstitutional by using their power of jury nullification. Subsequently the defendant was set free. Another example of a group of people saying no to a government happened in this Country in the late 18th century. Maybe razzle has heard about this event. In any case, razzle needs to calm down a bit and read some history. He will see, but probably never admit, that my way works.

Are they going to unite and vote no? What is the vehicle you are going to offer them to express this no through?

— “A peaceful revolution by saying enough is enough.”

Enough is enough.

Enough is ENOUGH!

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!

Nothing is happening. Now what?

— “That’s my answer.”

So you’re going to unseat the halls of power that have existed behind various masks and schemes for thousands of years… peacefully… by putting out information that is already out there and saying “No”.

Some, myself among them believe Carlin’s 4 minute bit about The Big Club to be his finest performance ever. It’s one thing to be clever and funny; another to rip the veil of hypocrisy from the government with such a deft and piercing monologue. Neither does he spare the people as per ….”will probably remain willfully ignorant of the big red, white and blue dick that’s being jammed up their assholes everyday”…… The first time I watched it X number of years ago I literally stood there in awe. I’ve since listened to it dozens of times; And if what’s happening right now as the deep state attempts to rid themselves of Trump doesn’t convince you he was right, you haven’t been paying attention.

Essentially agree, with one big and important caveat. Carlyn offers no alternative. He makes fun of us, but admits he is part of it as well. Humor is reality with a funny twist. It is not a call to arms.
Social and economic stratification is and has always been a fact of life. Unless you are the “ruler” you will always be subservient in a social environment. Our choices are to decide where in the hierarchy we want and are qualified to be in.
What troubles me. is that ideology regarding “equality” always results in systems that are inevitably more oppressive.
If you join a club of any kind, you must decide where you want to fit.
At least we have a semblance of choice. Not so in Monarchy;s or ideologically communist systems.
Carlyn has found his place in the club. Making fun of all the members. Works for him.

I understand and am completely OK with that. I have no problem with people having more money than me, and you seem to be mistaking us for people who want to strip rich people of their wealth in some kind of violent redistribution scam, where we take all their money. I don’t mind rich people having a party or hanging out together in some kind of high society soiree. I do have a big problem with people pretending to have our interests at heart, denegrating each other all day every day for show, and then being best friends when they think no one is looking.

I have offered a solution on numerous occasions, it is really simple, UNITE. Then weaponize your spendable cash. Americans could for example target a particular corporation like Starbucks and boycott their products and brick and mortar locations until they were no more. Then move on to another until the Oligarchs start seeing their bottom lines suffer. Starve the beast of their cash.

With that said, I don’t see the retarded masses EVER sticking together on ANYTHING even unto their own destruction.

Are the Starbucks employees going to Unite with you or fight you? How many companies will your united front take down and how many people will grow to hate your united front? What are you going to do if they start fighting back and unite to hurt your bottom line in return? Escalate to what level?

You’re talking big but during the closest opportunity to unite around here you’ve been one of the primary down talkers avoiding uniting. And I didn’t vote for the dude and was warning about him prior to the election as well.

Guess what a group of people UNITE!d under your banner would look like if they were hugely successful? A government and corporations exerting their influence on people around them. Picking winners and losers based on their UNITE!d interests.

You should consider the possibility you are projecting.

You’ve become a one trick pony. I doubt you will, but it’s easy to do a search for my posts vs your posts this year and see which of us flipped the fuck out and can’t get past a certain something.

I’ve made my posts about how Trump is going to convert a bunch of anti-state folks into pro-state. The point is long past to worry about that and you’ve got to work with the problem actually in front of you. You’re not going to get rid of the state without going to overt war. That’s a fact. You’re not going to actually get enough normies to starve the corporations… and any companies that take their place will eventually begin acting the same anyways.

So while I may have sympathies for your intentions, your intentions aren’t just pointless, they have no teeth, and most importantly, no plan. Lol. Of course your vote doesn’t count. Ask Ron Paul about votes at the 2012 convention. Just because your puppet may win doesn’t mean your particular vote meant anything. Except make you think your vote mattered. Your vote only matters if there’s a tie. There’s never been a tie. If voting mattered then Al Gore would have won in 2000. Talk about voting fraud! How naive can anyone possibly be to think it was not more than just a coincidence that Boy George won the state that his brother was the governor of! Look at the voting fraud that occurred for Obama where 100% of the votes in entire cities went to him. Look at the massive voting fraud that happened in the recent presidential election. They actually stopped counting in Detroit because of massive fraud. That’s why Michigan took so long to declare a winner. The only reason Hilary lost is because it’s harder to manipulate the electoral college than it is the popular vote. (BTW, If Trump would have won the popular vote and lost the electoral vote there would be just as much whining as the Hilary voters are now doing). Thank goodness for the electoral college or the entire country would be ruled by the votes of 2 or 3 states. Which only prooves that even when voting matters on a massive scale, it still doesn’t matter!

The one example where your vote can matter is in the jury box. Your one vote can mean a hung jury. It could also mean guilt or innocence, if you change your mind. However, to think your vote matters in the voting booth, especially in a presidential election, is laughable.

Years ago (1983 actually) in my senior year of high school, they put up all these posters around school urging kids to register to vote. One said something to the effect that some race for the U.S. senate somewhere in the midwest in the late 1800’s had come down to just one vote.

My buddies made up posters that, at a glance, looked exactly like these posters urging kids to register to vote, same colors, same lettering etc. Only these new posters noted that the plurality in the last presidential election was however many million votes it was and told kids that their vote obviously didn’t matter. Why bother? The fakes stayed up for a couple weeks before any teachers or staff noticed that the first set had been replaced.

Votes only matter in so far as there is some enforcement mechanism behind it. I propose that when the Fed Reserve was created, as well as the income tax, that is the moment OUR vote started to dilute. After 2008 – 09, our vote means virtually nothing.
Politicians will always go where the money / resources are, and their agenda will follow. What resources / money does the average American have? Nothing. Cut off the Federal Reserve from buying US government treasuries, and taxpayers / producers of real wealth immediately become a lot more important. I say a “vote” only counts when our labor, resources, and thus money are worth something. Right now the Fed says our money, therefore our “vote” is worth about .75 of a percent. In Europe, their vote is worth -.25. At least we have more say than the poor EU citizens….

I have always been fond of the Carlin skit, Admin so graciously provided, thanks, Carlin may have done more to red pill me and many others, than anyone.
That said, freedom and liberty yet live, battered and diminished, yes, but ALIVE, all the same. In fact, the BIG CLUB has, is, and will always, batter and try to diminish individual liberty.
So there is a flip side to their BIG CLUB, in my experience, there are multitudes of small clubs, they are not a part of. We enjoy this one right here, for example, The Burning Platform. What would happen to any of the aforementioned attendees here? Or….drinking in the clubhouse of a motorcycle gang?
It strikes me as possible that the real fear of the BIG CLUB is in fact, the small club. In this age of exponential technological advancement, the possibility of power forming in the small clubs or individual level is all to real.
As the inexorable silence approaches, make some noise, the louder the better, in the traditions of those that have come before us, on the most auspicious day in the history of liberty.
