This is the first and only piece I’ve learned on the piano. So relaxing. I’m working on a guitar version but I’m stuck on the second movement.

You could explain socialism to them in about 1 minute. Point a gun at them, steal half of their shit then give it to the first bum that walks by. “This, my friend, is socialism”.
If you gave 10% to the bum, 20% to a bureaucracy, and the rest to yourself and your buddies it would be more accurate.

Most people think socialism is a political system that steals from others and give the proceeds to them. Actually, it is a political system that steals from everybody and the thieves keep the proceeds.

socialism is where the means of production is owned by the private sector but directed by the govt,as opposed to communism,where the govt owns the means of production–
socialism usually evolves into communism wherever it is implemented–
though it won’t happen,i’d like to see some of these colleges try academic socialism/communism-
all grades will be averaged out and distributed according to the needs of the recipients,not necessarily awarded to the individual who aced the test or wrote the brilliant term paper–

Anyway, a good history lesson for the little ones would be the story of the Pilgrims. They were taught that the American Indian saved their ass’s.
Not true. The Pilgrims embraced socialism, a seven year agreement was enforced by the first governor, all goods, buildings, food etc were to be divided equally at the end of seven years.
Problem was nobody did shit because they expected the other guy to provide, and they would share the bounty.
After half the people died it became apparent Capitalism was the only way to survive, and so it is today.
But some either forget or are ignorant of history, and so are doomed to repeat past failures.
This is why you could take every penny from the successful and give it to the socialist tards, and within a year the successful would have their money back and the socialist tards would be crying to the government once again.
Somewhere along the way the definition of fairness has been altered to legal theft.
Ah, the “Pilgrims were communists” bit again. The story goes like this, when they arrived in North America they shared everything so they were communists, and they starved. Then they embraced capitalism and prospered. There is an element of truth to the fable. In a practice they called “The Common Course and Condition”, when they arrived in 1620 they did share everything. What is left out of the narrative is that they arrived in November (i.e. winter). Not just any winter, 1620 & 1621 were in a period climatologists call “The Little Ice Age.” The Pilgrims’ first winter in North America was brutal. They had no choice but to share. All they had to live on was the meager rations they brought from England and the corn they stole from the Native Americans.
Their harvest in 1621 was successful enough that they celebrated with a feast we call Thanksgiving. After the feast, an inventory was done and they realized they had greatly overestimated the harvest. They had to cut food rations to get through the winter of 1621-1622. Here’s is where it gets complicated. By the first Thanksgiving, half of the colonists had died in the “Great Sickness”. Only four women survived to see Thanksgiving. Right after Thanksgiving 1621, the ship Fortune arrives with 35 new colonists (only three were women). At this point there are seven women doing laundry for about eighty-five colonists. The seven women complained about doing laundry for all the bachelors. It was at this point that individual plots were assigned, and everyone started to make their own way. They shared when they had to in order to survive, and they “went capitalist” when they were they settled in as experienced farmers and had a full planting/harvesting season ahead of them. In the end, it had as much to do with laundry as it did with economics.

They are children, kids are bathed in to socialism from birth to adulthood bc thats all they can do, either take care of your newly formed or underdevekoped blob (baby/child) or it dies. Parents carry the extra weight bc thats our jobs for our children.
The problem is they think this is the natural order for their entire existence instead of jsut their first years on earth bc parents dont start weening them off when they should and next thing we know we have 18 infants in favor of socialism.
