No amount of facts, the real world or even fucking common sense will ever convince these nutz that AGW is anything but the GOSPEL TRUTH. I go back and forth with a number people that you could actually mistake for “smart” until you engage them on AGW.
One guy tells me that the city of Miami has spent tens of millions fighting the rising sea in Miami because of AGW. He says the streets are being flooded from the ocean. HOW CAN I DENY THIS???????
I ask why aren’t the Keys or Naples or Ft Lauderdale or Clearwater or any of the 100s of coastal cites in FL reporting this too? Crickets. Turns out parts of Miami were built on swampy ground and don’t have the capacity to absorb water and are actually sinking. Ahhh, he won’t have any of that.

I’ve looked out my sliding glass doors every day at Sarasota Bay below me and its where it has always been. Now they say that gravity isn’t equal at every spot on the globe as the earth’s interior is not perfectly homogenous so it could be that micro changes in sea levels have more to do with fluctuations in gravity than with global warming. After all an inch or two change in a 15,000 foot deep water column is just a 1/180,000 change.

People get stuck in what they already know and then are Overcome By Events (OBE) they didn’t foresee. People were executed by the Catholic Church because the Oligarchs were sure the Earth was the center of the Universe and to differ was demonic. Diseases were spread by doctors who took decades to understand Germ Theory. Millions of dollars and precious time are being wasted on AGW because few people understand elementary Solar Physics and that the Sun is expected to cool enough in about 10 or 20 years to cause a Mini-Ice Age. If their Climate Models don’t consider this, their results will be as stupid as the Liberal Educator’s Blank Slate Theory (which denied the importance of IQs in learning).
