In 1272, the Arabs invented the condom, using a goat’s lower intestine.
In 1873, the British refined the idea by taking the intestine out of the goat first.
I don’t know who invented them or when but I learned that Roman soldiers used such condoms. Probably got the idea from the making of link sausages. PS: Vagina was the word for their sword scabbard. I’d make a good skit: Roman Soldier Time-Travels to PC Rome Smothered by Women Mocks Metro-Sexuals.
