The problem I always run in to with Climate Change arguments is that the person pushing it is not a scientist, or even remotely logical.
Its a religious belief, and it will take a crisis of faith to wake them up. I have no idea how to go about such a thing, so I typically end up straw-manning my ass off and then leaving the conversation.
If the climate warms, we have global warming.
If the climate cools, we have global warming.
If nothing happens, we have global warming.
Crazy stuff.
