I believe only 13% of Blacks were proficient in Math on the 2017 National Assessment Test. Blacks are not even that dumb. The liberal government public schools are a spectacular pernicious failure; they cannot heal themselves. They are an anchor around American’s necks dragging the country down the drain. The tax money must be converted to Vouchers ASAP that are payable to private schools that do meet academic standards (just as is done in Europe). Having taught in inner-city schools, I’ve reached a conclusion that NO public money should go towards education. Parents that care about education can fund their children’s education on their own dime. Seriously, it was 100% impossible to teach anything to this crowd and was nothing more than a waste of time and a waste of taxpayer money. I could only tolerate it for 2 years.
Education isn’t for everyone.

in middle school, my Dad and I watched a 15yr. old female

The woman was called Rose, and was within days out of reform

while this is a little beyond the pale,it’s not that far beyond what teachers are expected to put up with–
if they refer too many students to the office it’s a sign that they can’t handle the kids effectively-
while not a common occurrence,it’s not so uncommon that it shocks her anymore for my wife to have a 7th/8th grader say fuck you to her–that gets them a whopping 3 day out of school suspension,sometimes–
the parents reaction–“i’m so sorry,he was having a bad day & he is going to have his phone taken away while he’s suspended.”
