A long time ago, I worked one summer at a golf course. One day, on the 15th hole, a group was putting when bullets started hitting the green around them. They left the green in a hurry. But then those fuckers did the most unbelievable thing – they played the final 3 holes before reporting there was a shooter. It was mid week so no other groups came past before they got to the clubhouse, but still it was an unbelievable risk of life. The shooter was never caught.

I used to work on a golf course. The ONLY happy golfers are drunk or high. The rest of of ’em are uptight, easily irritated and unpredictable.

I was a big fan of this band back in the 80s. Never realized or cared about the sexual orientation of the band members. Just enjoyed how much fun they seemed to have with their songs and their lyrics. Someone put their song “Hot Lava” to a nice compilation of lava flow video from a 2011/2012 eruption on the Big Island.
And because a far superior band once paid tribute to one of the most famous volcanic eruptions in history, I would be remiss if I did not include the outstanding videos that came out of this great “on-location” performance.
