QUOTES OF THE DAY

“I note the senator from Kentucky leaving the floor without justification or any rationale for the action he has just taken. That is really remarkable — that a senator blocking a treaty that is supported by the overwhelming number, perhaps 98 at least of his colleagues, would come to the floor and object and walk away…The only conclusion you can draw when he walks away is he has no argument to be made.

He has no justification for his objection to having a small nation be part of NATO that is under assault from the Russians. So, I repeat again, the senator from Kentucky is now working for Vladimir Putin.”

John McCain

“Currently, the United States has troops in dozens of countries and is actively fighting in Iraq, Syria, Libya, and Yemen (with the occasional drone strike in Pakistan). In addition, the United States is pledged to defend 28 countries in NATO. It is unwise to expand the monetary and military obligations of the United States given the burden of our $20 trillion debt.

McCain has advocated for war everywhere and that the U.S. would be in perpetual war if McCain were in charge.”

McCain never met an opportunity to engage the US in armed hostilities without vigor and enthusiasm. His final decade he was only spoken of glowingly ( especially the last 3) by the leftist, deep state controlled media. This alone should show he was an enemy of peace and the American people.
A profiteer from the blood of innocents, women and children– his “public service” netted him over $20 million dollars, not bad for a military career that saw him reach Captain and a $100k to $200k Senator salary ( probably just a savvy and diligent saver and investor, right?)

He pretty much single-handedly ensured that the HealthCare monopolies, in collusion with the Feds, would continue to bilk the monthly budgets of middle class americans for thousands annually in exorbitant costs…….

PS: As an aside, do others here consider everyone who ever served in the military as “heroes?’ Maybe a good topic for a full thread Stucky— what constitutes a hero? Dunking a basketball, serving in military or just getting shot? Killing the enemy or crashing a millions dollar jet and then becoming a songbird for the enemy? Raising your kids to be drug-free, moral and productive citizens? Passing out speeding tickets or rescuing families from burning homes?

“It’s like that old song
Bomb Bomb Bomb
Bomb Bomb Iran
heh heh heh”

Amidst all the tributes to McCain, I keep recalling that disgustingly gleeful moment.

Trump is now doing something McCain only dreamed of.

Selling lethal arms to the McCain-Obama-Clinton stooges in Kiev.

when mccain made those remarks about rand paul he was essentially calling paul a traitor–
i called both the washington & tampa offices of my senator, marco rubio,to say that i believed that he should defend rand paul & demand that mccain apologize or be censured–
of course all i got was polite bs,and nobody has ever gotten back to me–
watch the funeral & i’ll bet caitlyn & bathboy marco slip off to a corner somewhere–
