“Absolutely Killed”: Trump Throws Flag At NFL And Nike For Lack Of Patriotism, Supporting Kaepernick

President Trump has weighed in for a second time on the NFL’s decision to support Nike’s endorsement of Colin Kaepernick, tweeting on Wednesday: “Just like the NFL, whose ratings have gone WAY DOWN, Nike is getting absolutely killed with anger and boycotts. I wonder if they had any idea that it would be this way? As far as the NFL is concerned, I just find it hard to watch, and always will, until they stand for the FLAG!”

On Tuesday, Trump broke his silence on the Nike-Kaepernick controversy after the NFL released a statement in support of Kaepernick, telling The Daily Caller that Nike is sending a “terrible message” by featuring the has-been quarterback.

“I think it’s a terrible message that they’re sending and the purpose of them doing it, maybe there’s a reason for them doing it.”

“But I think as far as sending a message, I think it’s a terrible message and a message that shouldn’t be sent. There’s no reason for it.”

However, President Trump also acknowledged that Nike has the right to feature whoever they want in the ad campaign.

“As much as I disagree with the Colin Kaepernick endorsement, in another way — I mean, I wouldn’t have done it,” he said.

“In another way, it is what this country is all about, that you have certain freedoms to do things that other people think you shouldn’t do, but I personally am on a different side of it.”

Trump also said in the interview that “Nike is a tenant of mine,” referencing Nike’s five-floor Niketown store at Trump’s property on 57th Street in New York City.

Supporting Nike’s ad campaign are former CIA Director John Brennan, who joined former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in praise of Kaepernick, drawing ridicule all over the internet:

I have one word for Nike management : STUPID!!! DUFUS did not sacrifice everything! He was paid 12 million dollars a year for throwing a ball for Pete’s sake!!! Plus he could have picked up his option for another year at 16 million a year. Hey Colin, you made more in one month than what some people make in a lifetime of working!!! Now tell me again why America is so evil and bad!!!!!!!!!

The NFL is kneeling for the criminals and we’re standing for the Heroes. The issue splits along the left-right line and adds fuel to the coming fire they will ignite and get consumed in.

Nike is getting hit by the tariffs on Chinese crap. A lot of Nike’s crap is made in China or is made clandestinely in North Korea but labelled as Made in China. I prefer not to buy goods from China or NOKO any more than I absolutely have to. If they go out of business, somebody punch their TS card. I won’t worry.

Football is a “sport” whose time has passed.
Grown men (especially white men) should be ashamed for giving credence to a child’s “game”–grown men whose only job is to toss a ball around.
American “men” (I use that term loosely) who can spout statistics about their favorite team and players, purchase overpriced sports jerseys and other (useless) sports memorabilia, yet are ignorant of the country’s present situation–things that really DO make a difference are the real problem. Ignorance and indifference to the status of our country are irrelevant to these “men”. The only things that count to them is that the beer is cold and the “game” is on.
Yes, I am calling out the American (white) males who support the Negro Felon League (NFL) and other sports leagues.
One hundred years from now, no one will remember (or care) who did what on the football field, or for any other “professional” sport, for that matter.
It is long overdue to reign in these sports players who do not appreciate all the things (and successes) that our country has bestowed upon them. How in hell are these overpaid crybaby millionaire players being “oppressed”?
The team managers and owners have the right to demand that the players show respect for the flag.
Remember–sports figures, none of whom are “heroes” wear costumes while our military wears uniforms.

It’s cake and circuses for the masses. After all, these people have it so hard – those watching and those participating. Give me a break. It’s a narcotic for simpletons.

This whole thing is scripted to create more division and inch us closer to civil war/strife. The reality TV actor playing the mean, rich white guy stereotype, and the dumb black athlete taking orders for gold being used by ((them)) as the face of black/brown/anti-white campaign.

NIKE does not need your money. We gave them soooo much and allowed them to run slave empires in the Orient, they are now flush with cash and ((other monies)) and can be used to further destroy the nations of the West. They are priming us for genuine white genocide.

Nike took Kaepernick thinking it would help sell their shoes to a target group. 15 -19 year old niggers. That is who wears their $100 plus shoes. They are all about bling. After all they feel they already have the white people fooled. I am glad it is spectacularly back firing on them. These niggers however just keep getting stupider. The idiot on NY, Beckham stated that black athletes feel like zoo animals. Not to mention he looks like one aside. Here is some advice for his stupid ass…….Head on over to the Bronx zoo and see if they will give you 95 million to get in a cage and feel like a zoo animal. After they laugh you back to the football field. Take a good look around to see who pays you,and who comes to watch your games. Yeah…It’s white people. Then if you have any brains. Ask yourself.”Should I really bite the hand that feeds me”

Except they don’t buy Nikes — they steal them off the victims they beat and/or kill.

I believe there is merit in taking a stand, not a knee. And I empathise with – a desire to do something about injustice. The sports arena is the wrong place to do it imo. I have pissed and moaned about copf*ks on one of Stucky’s old threads. I get it. Orange is the new black has significant meaning to me. I have a few more bones to pick once I am off probation.

I might tolerate their kind of dissension if I saw more racial parity on the playing field. Genetic advantage comes in many hues favoring some and not others, in many different arenas of life.

They have lost my sympathies and my vi$ual support. I change the channel if I even see a commercial for disrespectful sporting representatives for hire.

Nike has won a Pyrrhic victory in my book. Their slogan fits with a slight repetition. Just Doo Doo it.

What’s with the niggers and their hair?

The slogan is stupid: “Believe in Something” – how fucking moronic. I have never bought any of the Nike shit anyway.

Where the boycott is going to take hold is at the college level. Lots of alumni big sponsor s are not going to like the swoosh on their boys uniforms.

I support Trump in a lot of what he does, but he has his head completly up his ass on this one. The flag and the anthem no longer represent the ideals and the people of America, they are the copyrighted property of a criminal government who comits mass murder and suppresses every right our forefathers died to establish.
The flag and the anthem are now a lie and a farce perpetuated on a brainwashed population of idiots who do not know the first thing about liberty or the soverignty of the citizen. When the govenrment begins to do its duty to uphold the Constitution and to respect the principals and ethics laid out in the Declaration of Independence then I will stand and salute the flag and take pride in the anthem, but until then it is all just a big pile of bullshit.
