Hi definitely has some all time classics. For awhile he was as big as any star ever was.

The best smirk in hollywood history. Deliverance was his strongest performance although I despised the portrayal of Southerners. Turned down R P McMurphy in Cuckoo’s Nest. Too busy banging Loni (what’s an Oscar compared to a delicious piece of ass?)
Safe travels fellow FSUster. My best to Dom and Jackie. Goodbye youth. Sob.
‘Gator’ w Burt, Jerry Reed, and a giant dude named Bones.
“Yellows”
“He’s makin fun uh me”
“Bones, I’m gonna let you handle this one.”
decent flick. Or, at least I thought it was, 30+ years ago. Now? Maybe not. Long time ago.
One of my favorite actors . His movie Deliverance was one of his best.It the first or one of the first movies I saw in a theater and he was box office gold in the 70s. Lots of laughs.
That’s just wrong, Rdawg. Note to self. Stay on Rdawgs good side

One of my favorite actors growing up. What made Burt special though was his sense of humor. The guy was fucking hilarious. Was a frequent guest and host on Carson. Was a true Hollywood “personality” R.I.P.
My favorite:

GATOR was preceded by WHITE LIGHTNING, both free on a lot of streaming channels.
It would take a small army of present-day actors to have functioned as Burt’s waterboys.
There are several of us who frequent tbp that will join him soon enough. The world keeps turning.
Sharky’s Machine rocked my world at the time. RIP

I’ll bet you’ve tapped a nut many times during the Ned Beatty “squeal like a pig” scene, eh BB?
