If you look at the people who have made a preliminary announcement, it seems they want to say, if Trump can get elected, anybody can get elected. Having Kanye, the Rock, Golden Boy and Comacho as potential candidates only lowers the voter’s expectations enough so that Biden can be considered a serious choice. The excuse will be, at least he’s not Kanye.
Unless he’s murdered (physically) Trump will run and win in 2020. If a dem gets in we’re cooked.
