HALF OF ALL AMERICANS MAKE LESS THAN $30,500 PER YEAR. Ho Lee Shit. Well, I suppose that explains why both daddy and mommy work … and some couples even have 3, 4, or more jobs at the same time.
I know nostalgia distorts reality over time. But, I’ll tell you what; dad bought our home around 1965, and he was able to support our family (4 people) on about $130/week.
