Nearly everyone gets conned into paying attention to stories about voting machine security, etc. But truly, what difference does it make when the tow worthless major political parties continue to nominate people of the lowest moral character, who completely lack any real principles or commitment to freedom and liberty, as their candidates? In every race at every level, the choice that is ALLOWED on the ballot (see ballot-access.org for everything there is to know about restrictive ballot access laws in every state), is a choice between one freedom hater and another. There may be some rare exceptions out there, but generally this is the case. Why are these the folks that rise to the top? And if that is the best we can ever hope for, then WHY do we allow the government to have the kind of power over us that makes us all fear the outcome of every election?
This country was founded by men who (at least in their writings if not always in their actions) generally feared government, government power, and government size. The intent of the Constitution and the clear and unequivocal limits it placed on the power of the central, federal government, was to limit the impact of these central government on the lives of the citizens or the actions of the state governments. But those limits were walked over during the first administration of Washington, and the tide has never reversed.
If they get you asking the wrong questions, they never have to worry about the answers. Why are we not asking the right questions – like why are we continuing to support the existence of this central government of ours??
A few years ago here in NC we had a Real candidate running for Senator. What did the GOP do? They found 8 more people to run in the primary. Our Constitutional based candidate still managed a good turnout, but Tillis won the primary and consequently the election. Looks like he’s a permanent fixture now.
The bottom line is that They didn’t want someone like Dr Greg Brannon. And the party always gets their way – by hook of by crook.
The party’s over and the fat lady is singing her swan song.
