Just to clarify my thought about wasting time: what one believes is very closely aligned to socialization and demographics. Always has been and probably always will

47% of Dumbacrats think Russia manipulated vote counts to get Trump elected. So did 46% of women. So did 58% of 18 to 29 year olds. So did 70% of blacks. So did 62% of liberals.
If they can pull off a conspiracy like 9/11 and keep thousands of colluders quiet, they can certainly teleport a WWE star from the wrestling ring to the Oval Office.
Just shows what you can accomplish when you control the news media, entertainment, public education, higher education and key elements of the bureaucracy and judicial system. No subversive endeavor is too large with enough time and money. It’s a done deal at this point.

This is further confirmation of my lifelong summations…. A) the world is full of idiots and B) people believe what they want to believe.

An old song
I believe for every drop of rain that falls
A flower grows
I believe that somewhere in the darkest night
A candle glows
I believe for everyone who goes astray, someone will come
To show the way
I believe, I believe
I believe above a storm the smallest prayer
Can still be heard
I believe that someone in the great somewhere
Hears every word
Everytime I hear a new born baby cry,
Or touch a leaf or see the sky
Then I know why, I believe

Maybe belief is the problem, it being “an acknowledged fact without knowledge.”
It’s an “I wish it were true” kind of thing.
So who gives a damn what people believe?
Oh, it’s because you believe that and I believe something else and we go to war.
Is that taught in the logic courses in the schools? The cause of war?
Nah, no logic courses anymore, just lots of “believing in yourself.” And God. Or Allah. Or Krishna. Or your favorite pol.
Let’s go to war and prove that what we believe is right!
It’s too bad we can’t have an arrangement where those who believe in consensual interactions and those who believe in “approved” interactions could live in different locations.
Okie Dokie… where are all the qualitative analysists ready to explain what the hell this tells us about this type of data gathering?
(hint: waste of time should probably be in the summary.)
What this tells us is that the franchise should be limited to rich white men.
I thought it already is.

We’re doomed.

The pajama boys are persecuting me today. Piss off, pumpkins.
Best comment I’ve read in a while EC, anything is possible in the matrix. I’m guessing that El Trump bought the WWE for just that purpose.
Can society as a whole be dumber or more polarized?
Yes
