Just three months into a beautiful relationship and yet another owner was having a bad day. Thinking he had a flat tire he had his Model S towed to a shop in Los Gatos.
Once there the car began to hiss.
It then proceeded to catch fire.
Then again and again.
It took ten hours, on three separate occasions, along with 2000 gallons of water to finally extinguish the blaze once and for all. Driver was later reported to say that this would be ‘last Tesla’ his family would ever own.
Tesla is now apparently said to be investigating the cause and looking into new business opportunities. Chestnuts will now be included, just in time for the holidays, with purchase of each new vehicle.
Just in case..
Coming soon

We gave our middle school music teach conniptions because we couldn’t sing New Ashmolean marching society…correctly.
Do a little research. The last one of these mystery fires on a Model S was caused by a bullet fired from inside the car into the battery pack.
10 hours to put out the fire is ridonkulous. just sayin?
Great for roasting turkeys which this car is but driving around in safely… hmmm not so much.
Sad part is forty years ago, when that shitty Ford Pinto was being peddled to the wanton masses,at least the passengers unfortunate enuf to be driving in them had some warning of there impending demise. When they got a bump on arse end meant seconds counted and then it was time to bail out at least they had a chance get free. The boys at Ford Motor Company at least put the fuel tank at rear of car instead of under the seats like the battery in that wonderful car Elon has built.
Car is a dud!
Twenty years from now they will be writing sequel to Top Secret. It will be the running joke of these times we live in… It won’t be a Black shooting at Germans though. It will be some Mexican blasting away at ISIS.
But stay well my friend and Merry Christmas..
In the story Stuck posted, they mentioned this was not the case.
Igniting secured.
That lithium smoke accelerates global warming.
My money is on the tow truck driver being blamed for damaging the battery.
Man, Those cars are smoking hot! I bet plenty of normal cars burn up every day.
