The Biggest U.S. Importers and Exporters

Infographic: The Biggest U.S. Importers and Exporters | Statista You will find more infographics at Statista

Which companies are the biggest importers and exporters in the U.S.? The majority of people will know the names of the businesses that ship the most goods into the country (measured by volume transported on container ships), but the biggest exporters hardly ring a bell.

While big retailers like Walmart, Target or Home Depot dominate the imports list, the biggest U.S. exporters deal with products that don’t inspire the imagination, like paper, or that Americans would rather forget about, like their trash. Out of the top seven U.S. exporters, four deal with recyclables. Other products exported in large volumes are packaging, chemicals and animal feed, according to industry publication JOC.

Largest importer Walmart has a big lead on runner-up Target and is also way ahead of the biggest U.S. exporter, America Chung Nam. While Walmart has 2.2 million employees, the paper and plastics recycling company headquartered in City of Industry, Calif., only has 200, according to Zoominfo. Their containers full of old cardboard and plastic recyclables are mainly headed for China.

China.
Exporting cheap shit Americans buy, with money they should save, on shit they don’t need, to satisfy the addiction to buy, for another hit of feel-good.

Importing resources that can be used or re-used, to wrap up and box all that shit, so their trees and oil can be used for more valuable purposes.

China is also the leading importer of physical gold in world markets, while not revealing the amount of gold mined in their own country, quietly building reserves.

Reserves of all things that are valued, needed, and conserved.

Another one of those is rare earths.
They have that market cornered.
If they stop exporting those, world Mfrs. that need them shall be screwed.
Rare earths go into more tech products than most people know.

Sorry, I still had Admin.’s 70’s Sunday on my mind (even though this was a 1969 album cover).

There is now only 1 valid reason to have a U.S. presence in Greenland: Lanthanides. Sniffing the Pole for incoming ICBMs no longer makes sense in today’s world of asymmetric warfare.

Exporting a lot of paper and recyclables. So there won’t be an incentive to cut out plastic without an economic slowdown in China, or Chinese retaliation for tariffs. Ooooops!

The more dollars the government prints for Welfare & Warfare, the more expensive our imports and the cheaper our exports. We must bring dollar printing under control or the natural laws of Economics will ruin US.

Marvin thinks he has the skill set to make Lowe’s more profitable than Home Depot, he does not possess this skill set.

Measuring by volume is ridiculous.

The US sends $1 trillion a year overseas. It is not chickenfeed. It just needs to voluntarily stop buying cheap disposable consumer shit.

“Their containers full of old cardboard and plastic recyclables are mainly headed for China.”

Incomplete sentence.

Their containers full of old cardboard and plastic recyclables are mainly headed for China …… which they will promptly ship right the fuck back to ‘Murika.

This is known as The Cycle of Life.

So basically if we all just stopped doing business with Walmart, Target, Lowes, and Home Depot and did not buy another Samsung product, we could fold up China and Korea like a cheap lawn chair. I’m doing my part already.

Hey, BL ; that must stand for “Brain Less” . So, don’t buy that stuff. So, no computer, no phone, no pencil,no pen, no small kitchen appliance, no flatware, no pots, no pans, no dishes, hardly any clothes, no tools, little furniture, etc. Where you gonna shop, mr. genius ??

ozum- Blow me….
So, you are all about shopping at Target and Walmart, huh? Typical American consumer who I would liken to the monkey when given the choice of doors to open (cocaine or food), the chimp took the cocaine until it had starved himself to death. Well, let’s just forget about manufacturing the shit we consume here until we starve ourselves from lack of jobs.

Zumbie, next you’ll be rooting for the $1000 UBI…..I bet your fuktarded ass will spend most of your UBI at Target and StuffMart.

You missed it, BL….proves you are brainless. The subject was, at the core, products from China, SK, distributed through said stores. You can add any other big chain you want…..Kohl’s, Sears, Shopko (RIP), Best Buy, Bed-bath-beyond, etc. The point is, you can’t duck China/SK and live with day-to-day stuff.

ozum – yes computers made in the US, no mobile, yes pencils, yes pens, yes small kitchen appliances, yes flatware, yes pots, yes pans, yes dishes, loads of clothes, yes tools, loads of furniture, etc.

What are you, a complete moron? Who fed you that load of manure? The only thing you got right was phones. BL is indeed a genius compared to you.

Just for you, you imbecile, I will again post this link where you can find all kinds of US made goods:

Llpoh- Zumbie is a fukwit that lacks the gray matter to read charts and think for himself. He would have us in a state of non-production so the poor little commie Chinks would not lose their HUGE export$$ and fail to become our overlords.

What a maroon.

Kind of telling. The U.S. imports finished products (of varying degree of quality) and exports garbage, recyclable materials, and raw materials. Not really a recipe for success.
