Eventually, Jose/Mexico does because the goal is to bring avocado farms back INTO the US borders where we will have more jobs, GDP and STILL pay $5. Heck, maybe even less than $5? Maybe not though since avocado farmers IN the US will probably have to endure more regulation and higher wages.

My vote is to 1) seal the border and 2) reduce the size of government by 75%. Bwahahabababa, Not. Gonna. Happen. We will get socialism and lots of it.
1) every nation ha the obligation to seal/control their borders. Except the US it seems. Oz does a wonderful job of it, actually. Plus its immigration policy is based on merit.
2) being afraid of competition is a bad thing. The US needs to compete, or it will continue to spiral downward.
3) reduce the size of govt 75%, and eliminate all welfare. I’m in.

Jose does because all Americans have to do is stop buying stuff for overinflated prices. The United States consumer calls the shots. Don’t pay more for things than they are worth. Producers will reduce their costs if consumers refuse to buy. That $5 avocado is prob worth 5 cents. Americans should refuse to pay a penny more. If Jose refuses to produce/sell the avacado for 5 cents don’t buy it. Avocados are not essential for life so really the demand is based on luxury consumption. Same with gas we can literally walk anywhere we need to go. If you can’t walk there don’t go. If all Americans did this for just one year the price of a gallon would collapse and so much supply would accumulate a gallon would cost pennies on the dollar. The price of anything is not determined by the producer but by the consumer. As Americans we need to refuse to consume until the price reflects what our currency is worth relative to our military’s ability to destroy the whole planet. No one in the USA should ever have to do a second of labor we should be exploiting the population of the entire globe to do everything while we enjoy the fruits of having the ability to end civilization. Wanna live work for our every whim and desire or the military will vaporize you and exploit your resources. We don’t even need to send in troops we can literally launch missles from under water or use lasers from space.

Who in the hell eats avocados? The only thing I member from my early childhood about them was the horrible color people could get for their kitchen appliances. If the supply was cut off we would suffice quite nicely- like in the times when nothing was imported from Mexico except the nasty shit with a worm in the bottle and no one cared about anything else except for some of the wood scrap water heaters someone imported back in the mid ’70’s.
Not really worried much about those guys on the bottom, either. About the only thing we have to worry about from them is if we keep importing them.
