RFK Jr. WANTS TO BUILD THE WALL

Via Kanekoa the Great

“We watched about 150 people come across the border… They’re from Peru, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Bangladesh, India, China, Tibet, and Nepal…

In total, over three years, 7 million people have come across the border illegally into our country… After a few days, they’re released into our country, and most of them are never seen or heard from again…

The stories that we heard from these people are absolutely heartbreaking. This is a humanitarian crisis because of the understanding across the globe that we now have an open border…

Many of them that have come across have been terribly abused… There’s a tree that is visible from this wall that is called the rape tree where the cartels extract the final payment from women before they come across…

Then you know what happens to children at the border… The disappearances. People are extorted, exploited, or robbed. They’re beaten and raped…

Could Somebody Keep Trump’s Promises?

Guest Post by Ann Coulter

If there is hope for America — and I’m doubtful — it came at 10 a.m. Monday in Eagle Pass, Texas, when Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis unveiled his immigration plan.

Much of the document is strikingly similar to Donald Trump’s immigration plan from waaaaay back in 2016, the only minor exceptions being that DeSantis understands what it says and fully intends to carry it out.

QUESTION: Why is it still possible to run on all of Trump’s immigration promises? If broken promises were bricks, we’d have a wall.

On the wall, DeSantis says: “The left tries to make fun of a border wall, but walls work. Israel built a 152-mile-long fence along its border with Egypt. Once completed, illegal crossings dropped by more than 99% year-over-year.” (You’d think with Jared Kushner running the country, someone would’ve remembered that.)

The Border Crisis: Taking the Long-Term View

Guest Post by Joe Guzzardi

In one of her final appearances before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, former DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen concluded her testimony by saying that no sane nation would ever devise an immigration system as dysfunctional as that of the United States.

US vs. THEM (PART II)

In Part I of this article I discussed why the “Us versus Them” mindset permeates society and how Trump has become a lightning rod for hate. Now I will assess his progress in fighting the Deep State and try to peer into a murky future.

In addition to not being Hillary, the main reasons I voted for Trump was he promised to build the wall, he promised to repeal and replace Obamacare, he promised to end our foreign military interventions, he said he would bring fiscal sanity to the budget, he said the Federal Reserve had blown an immense stock market bubble, he questioned the fake economic data spouted by government drones, and he called out the fake news bullshit media. When I regularly assess his progress on these issues, the standard response from Trump acolytes is “Would you rather have Hillary?”. No, I would not. But that doesn’t get Trump off the hook for his failures in my book.

US vs. THEM

“I’ll show you politics in America. Here it is, right here. “I think the puppet on the right shares my beliefs.” “I think the puppet on the left is more to my liking.” “Hey, wait a minute, there’s one guy holding out both puppets!”” – Bill Hicks

Anyone who frequents Twitter, Facebook, political blogs, economic blogs, or fake news mainstream media channels knows our world is driven by the “Us versus Them” narrative. It’s almost as if “they” are forcing us to choose sides and believe the other side is evil. Bill Hicks died in 1994, but his above quote is truer today then it was then. As the American Empire continues its long-term decline, the proles are manipulated through Bernaysian propaganda techniques, honed over the course of decades by the ruling oligarchs, to root for their assigned puppets.

Most people can’t discern they are being manipulated and duped by the Deep State controllers. The most terrifying outcome for these Deep State controllers would be for the masses to realize it is us versus them. But they don’t believe there is a chance in hell of this happening. Their arrogance is palatable.

Do Border Walls Work?

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

COMMENT: Skeptics who believe a border wall will not stop illegals from entering the United States may want to look at what’s happening in Hungary.

On the day its border fence was completed, the influx of illegals entering Hungary went down from 6,353 per day to 870 the next day. For the remainder of that month, illegal border crossings were steadily below 40 per day, officials said.

“They don’t even try,” a local border guard told The Daily Caller News Foundation. “We haven’t had a single Muslim migrant in six months.” Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s pledge to stop illegals from flowing into the country appears to be a spectacular success.

Hungary’s 96-mile long, 14-foot-tall, double-line fence includes several layers of razor-wire capable of delivering electric shocks. The barrier features cameras, heat sensors, and loudspeakers ready to tell migrants they’re about to break Hungarian law if they as much as touch the fence, the DC report said.

Pentagon Approves $1 Billion To Build Trump’s Border Wall

Via ZeroHedge

What was already a bad week for Democrats just got worse.

Not only did AG Barr embarrass party leaders like Adam Schiff, as well as their allies in the cable news media, when he revealed that Robert Mueller’s nearly two-year investigation into the Trump campaign had turned up zero evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, but now, despite a spate of lawsuits and bipartisan resistance in Congress, Trump has received the first tranche of Pentagon funds that will be used to build more than 230 miles of the border wall – helping to fulfill one of his most popular campaign promises.

According to CNN, the Pentagon notified Congress Monday night that it had authorized $1 billion to begin construction of a new segment of the wall along the US-Mexico border. The notification elicited a wave of outrage from Democratic lawmakers.

Trump Will Declare State Of National Emergency To Fund Border Wall; Pelosi Threatens Legal Challenge

Via ZeroHedge

Update 2: Confirming that CNN was yet again fake news, moments ago the White House reported that, as McConnell said, President Trump will support the bipartisan spending bill that would avert another partial federal government shutdown, and will declare a national emergency to get more funding for his border wall.

“President Trump will sign the government funding bill, and as he has stated before, he will also take other executive action – including a national emergency – to ensure we stop the national security and humanitarian crisis at the border,” White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders says in a statement.

“The President is once again delivering on his promise to build the wall, protect the border, and secure our great country.”

Meanwhile, as expected, the Democrats were up to arms, with House majority leader Nancy Pelosi immediately warning that she will review “legal options” if Trump declares an emergency, and Trump’s decision should be met with unease.

WHY WE MUST HAVE A BORDER WALL

Guest Post by Ann Coulter

On account of the president’s cowardly retreat from the wall, Ann Coulter is too angry to type. In her place, we present a guest columnist outraged at the president’s capitulation.

By Donald J. Trump

This election … is our last chance to secure the border, stop illegal immigration and reform our laws to make your life better. — Donald Trump, Phoenix, Aug. 31, 2016

It’s coming from all over South and Latin America, and it’s coming probably — probably — from the Middle East. But we don’t know. Because we have no protection and we have no competence. … And it’s got to stop, and it’s got to stop fast. — Donald Trump, New York City, June 16, 2015

We take anybody. Come on in, anybody. Just come on in. Not anymore. … We need a system that serves our needs, not the needs of others. — Donald Trump, Phoenix, Aug. 31, 2016

The costs for the United States have been extraordinary: U.S. taxpayers have been asked to pick up hundreds of billions in health care costs, housing costs, education costs, welfare costs, etc. — Donald Trump, Immigration Policy Paper, Aug. 16, 2015

Ann Coulter wearing a suit and tie: Trump hits Ann Coulter over recent criticism: 'Maybe I didn’t return her phone call or something'

President Trump on Sunday took a shot at conservative commentator Ann Coulter, a longtime supporter of his, after she criticized him for agreeing to reopen the government without a deal on his long-promised border wall.

“I hear she’s become very hostile,” Trump said in a new interview with The Wall Street Journal. “Maybe I didn’t return her phone call or something.”

His jab comes shortly after Coulter blasted Trump repeatedly for not securing funding for a wall along the southern U.S. border, his signature campaign promise.
