Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (AOC), US Representative (14th district of New York) holds that capitalism, the economic system in our United States that people from all over the world risk life and limb to enter any way they can, is “irredeemable.”
Her contempt for capitalism is matched only by her love of socialism: “The emphasis in socialism is on democracy. … It’s just as much a transformation about bringing democracy to the workplace so that … we don’t check all of our rights at the [workplace] door because … as workers and people in society, we’re the ones creating wealth.”
The American Dream, where once upon a time, was when a parent saved to raise their children to have a perpetual better life than they had. Parents would save for their college education and they pushed their children to achieve. My father began saving the day I was born for my college education and law school.
Americans, no matter the circumstances of their birth, all shared freedom, opportunity, the right to build private businesses and enterprises, and a republic – “Representative Democracy.” We raised our children believing that they had a legitimate opportunity to live a better life than we did predicated upon their own skills and intelligence. We tried to instill a good work ethic, and that would provide good fortune for the future ahead.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) contracted COVID while partying during her Florida vacation and enjoying the freedoms she denies to her own supporters. I have been waiting for her to comment on her ailment as she would undoubtedly say something stupid, and of course, she did not fail to disappoint.
The seemingly physically healthy 32-year-old who has been vaccinated three times miraculously survived omicron despite the 99.9% survival rate. The drama queen of politics posted three images of herself online pretending to recover at home. Her lingering symptoms seem to be a closer infatuation with communism with a nod to the coming push for N95 masks.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez took to Twitter Saturday night to gloat over the apparent low turnout at Trump’s much touted Tulsa campaign rally earlier in the day.
She boasted that teens across the nation and around the world had scammed the event by registering for spots, snagging up mass tickets online in order to prevent others from attending, leaving most of the arena barren and empty.
According to a Forbes report on Sunday, while the BOK Center’s total capacity is near 20,000 – about 6,200 people showed up, bused on Tulsa Fire Department numbers.

U.S.—Addressing a crowd earlier this week, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez declared that Joseph Stalin was actually a conservative or at least a center-right kind of guy.
“Nobody was actually on the left in Soviet Russia — Stalin was center or center-conservative,” she said. “Did Stalin have a Green New Deal? I don’t think so. And he referred to people with binary pronouns, not to mention the lack of drag queen story hours in the gulags.”

In a clip that has gone viral across social media platforms, a woman who was, in all likelihood, an opposition plant, confronted AOC during a town hall in Corona, Queens last night and insisted that her ‘Green New Deal’ wasn’t enough and that instead “we must eat the babies” to stop climate change from destroying the world.
During the confrontation, the woman, who had an unusual and vaguely European accent, insisted that while she was a great fan of AOC, she felt that her proposals to combat climate change simply didn’t go far enough.

In Part I of this article I discussed why the “Us versus Them” mindset permeates society and how Trump has become a lightning rod for hate. Now I will assess his progress in fighting the Deep State and try to peer into a murky future.
In addition to not being Hillary, the main reasons I voted for Trump was he promised to build the wall, he promised to repeal and replace Obamacare, he promised to end our foreign military interventions, he said he would bring fiscal sanity to the budget, he said the Federal Reserve had blown an immense stock market bubble, he questioned the fake economic data spouted by government drones, and he called out the fake news bullshit media. When I regularly assess his progress on these issues, the standard response from Trump acolytes is “Would you rather have Hillary?”. No, I would not. But that doesn’t get Trump off the hook for his failures in my book.

After reading an especially radical platform agreed upon by the British Labor Party, one Tory wag described it as “the longest suicide note in history.”
The phrase comes to mind on reading of the resolution calling for a Green New Deal, advanced by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and endorsed by at least five of the major Democratic candidates for president.
The Green New Deal is designed to recall the halcyon days of the 1930s, when, so the story goes, FDR came to Washington to enact the historic reforms that rescued America from the Great Depression.
Only that story is more than a small myth.
