What this sorry mau mau was too dumb to understand is that he hadn’t yet broken the law in that he didn’t actually take merchandise out the door. He could have made himself comfortable until the cops came and then told them that he was locked in the store due to racism. Beyond being an idiot he didn’t realize walls today are a paper sandwich with a little plaster in between.
