He talks about how polarizing Donal Trump has been. Yet, I would say Obama was extremely polarizing, the difference is that the MSM loved him. You have the media which is 90% Demo-Commies bowing down to Pres. Obama and giving him a pass on everything. Then you see Trump who starts actually talking about America, rather than being a “global” president type and they paint him as the devil incarnate. So I’m not quite so sure that Trump is truly so much more polarizing, its just that the media/entertainment/deep state complex is not on board. We didn’t see celebs lining up to demean or wish death upon Obama, but that very thing is done daily w/ Trump. So the people who are painting the picture and creating the narrative deem Trump polarizing, despite alot of his views actually being old school centrists, or sometimes even Democratic positions. But the Dems create their narrative solely on talking about how horrible America is and how enlightened and great all the other folks are that try and come here, since apparently Pelosi can see the souls of the misunderstood MS-13 gang bangers.

Things have been polarizing for a long time now its been a process, the fake news media has just finally lost the veneer with a much larger portion of the population. We had Bush who was barely a Republican in many ways, Bush is clearly part of the club, and its not a club that really care much about America a place of freedom. I don’t see a crisis lasting until 2030, its going to be far worse than that. By 2030 every aspect of the financial shell games will be disolving. Depending on what happens we likely will have 35 trillion in debt and all the safety nets will be seriously in the red. If we continue to add millions of illegals/chain migrants, say goodbye to the social work and hospital ER’s in many states. If any portion of the green new deal gets implemented, we will lucky to have food on the table or energy to keep us warm/cool. Freeze dried food and access to water seem like the best longterm investment strategies for the shit show which is just warming up.

He talked to the coming extreme political volatility, then a crisis, then a solution to end the 4th turning.
My opinion – I disagree with the crisis being economic, financial, or geo-political, I believe the USA will have an internal cultural crisis where the > 51% vote and demand change (new laws), payments (taxes), and punishment of the < 49% Productive class (what Obama started). My bet, the Productive class will reduce in number, violence will be in full bloom, then a crisis which includes the US Govt doing something real stupid to start another hot war.

No, the crisis will last much longer than that…demographics and the flood of illegals into the country pretty much guarantee financial collapse and degradation at all levels…

It may take until 2030 for the last white person in America to finally figure out they are completely, entirely and irreversibly without representation at the federal level.

Howe has always been a Boomer-cuck, Civ-Nat and a supporter of Big Government, so this is the type of bilge I expect from him….Think Peggy Noonan and her “Trump has annoyed my buddies, so he’s evil” stuff.

I guess he has not found time even to begin to understand the “virtue of selfishness.” Nor does he grant that all his idealist government policies have led to ruin, so we must “retool our institutions.” What an idiot.

I just saw this quote from another post on TBP: In individuals, insanity is rare; but in groups, parties, nations and epochs, it is the rule. – Friedrich Nietzsche

Kind of interesting how the hanging on by our fingernails in the revolution, how close my Southern brothers came in the civil war, with 700K dead and by comparison WWII was much less intense…..and he calls it just “renewal”……hmmm….methinks he is putting a pretty face on the monster.

Boys and girls I am going to go out on a limb and call this 4th Turning crisis and unprecedented double whammy…..both a civil war and an all out external war for survival.

I don’t know which will come first though I suspect the external war will start the festivities with USA vs. Russia/China/Iran…..though it could just as easily be President AOC leading a commie Red/White Russian campaign for the Red team. Then the Russians/Chicoms intervene and it goes nuclear with our boomers.

I really hope we can avoid either of these armed struggles but the left is playing for keeps and enough on the right (legacy “white” America) have seen the Venezuelan solution and will resist.

China is uncharacteristically empire building beyond their borders (something they have not done in 3,000 years) and have aspirations to be the world’s hegemon. Russia has hitched its wagon to China stupidly but so be it.

So it is 1775, 1859, 1938…..2019….the curtain on the shit show is just about to rise, the players have taken the stage and the music is starting. Nothing to do but take comfort that our “hero” generation of retard Millenials will, in fact, rise to the occasion and become incredibly skilled in military arts and dealing death to threats foreign and domestic.

I concur with your overall assessment. I’ve been racking my brain for the past couple of years as to which will come first: External vs. internal conflict. I’d like to see some analytics on past saecula to see if there is an ebb and flow between the two. Perhaps in terms of “heat values” for events.

For instance, the Glorious Revolution was internal; the American Revolution was external; the Civil War was internal; and WW2 was external, etc. However, each one of them had heat signatures of events within the crises. (e.g., The American Revolution had all kinds of internal unrest due to inflation. The Civil War saw significant involvement of Russia on the side of the Union and the Queen-Kneelers aiding the CSA.)

I think the definitive meta-crisis (i.e. crisis within the “Crisis”) will be both internal and total. America will Balkanize into 4-6 regions, but it could be preceded by a desperate attempt at exogenous projection. Liberals would be wise to flee red states post haste, and vice versa.

Like Howe, I believe the catalyst and most proceeding stepping stones to Doom will be economic in nature. I could easily see California get swallowed in human feces like kudzu in Mississippi, and expect Tennessee to bail it out. We would of course tell them to go fuck themselves sideways with rusty chainsaws. And on and on until BOOM.

Maybe. Maybe we lose.

I think the economic impact as a precipitating event could be the trade war. China is unlikely to give in, Trump knows its life or death. Huawei will lose $25B in sales on their new Honor20 cellular handset……just for starters. I see the trade war more like the struggle with Japan where we started to strangle their access to oil and other resources. Led to a shooting war. Iran today announced they are 10 days away from breaching the Uranium enrichment limit under the now Treaty Trump bailed on…….talk about waving a red flag at the bull. I don’t think we are going to allow that to happen.
