I am from Mainland China. The Chinese words in the picture are very rarely written in such a way in Mainland China (They are mainly used in Hongkong and Taiwan). Therefore, I highly doubt that it was a genuine picture.
Last time I visited China it was last December. Chinese infrastructure seems much newer than here in USSA. American governments spend each and every penny on warfare and welfare.

Obvious that this was taken just a few hours after some sort of under-the-street natural gas explosion. If this had happened here in the U.S., the street would like just the same. Not potholes, which we can’t seem to fix here in the U.S. either by the way. Any available infrastructure money now is going into city, county and state pensions. Taxpayers are priority zero.
