Fellow Americans,

I’m concerned about the number of persons killed in this country each day by vehicular violence; on average, 109 people are killed every day by motor vehicles, and this does not take into account those who are scarred, disabled or maimed for life.

While I don’t want an outright ban on the private ownership of motor vehicles, I believe some common-sense restrictions on motor vehicles should be enacted into law as soon as possible to stop this epidemic of vehicular violence. To wit:

• Every person wishing to purchase a motor vehicle must submit to a stringent criminal background check and mental evaluation; felons would be excluded from owning or driving a motor vehicle, as would those deemed to be risky drivers.
• As the potential for vehicular violence accompanies ownership of a motor vehicle, there should be a mandatory 7-day waiting period before taking possession of a motor vehicle after purchase. Those who do not pass their background check forfeit 20% of the vehicle’s purchase price to the dealership that performs their background check.
• Points 1 and 2 also apply to used and private-party vehicle purchases, which must be completed through an authorized dealer.
• Vehicles, when not in use by their lawful owners, must be booted when stored at home (either in a garage, on a driveway, or in the street) to prevent accidental or unauthorized use.
• To limit potential fatalities, no motor vehicle may have a maximum capacity of greater than 2 occupants. As this makes most trucks and SUV-type vehicles obsolete, their ownership or use must be prohibited.
• The following equipment and accessories can be construed to make a motor vehicle more dangerous to drive, or more lethal, and are strictly prohibited to be installed on or in any motor vehicle:

***spoilers, lift kits, window tinting, custom rims (must be dealer stock), nitro boosters, lowered front ends, hydraulic shock absorbers, hood ornaments, pin striping, oversized tires, kerb feelers, cell phone connections (electronic or physical), video screens (for any purpose), radio/stereo devices, music playing devices (CD or other digital format, cassette, 8-track, or reel-to-reel tape, turntables).***

All persons* owning motor vehicles with any of the above prohibited items installed on or in their vehicles must immediately modify them to comply with these new laws, or surrender their vehicle to the nearest police department. You will not be compensated for the loss of property when you surrender your vehicle.

Please, call or write your congressperson TODAY to make sure these common-sense motor vehicle restrictions are enacted into law as soon as possible – the life you save may be your own!

*Federal, sate and local government officials and law enforcement officers shall be exempt from these proposed regulations, and cannot be held liable for damage, injury or death caused by the use or misuse of any motor vehicle.

After reading many of the comments, I wish to ask the group a question.

Does anyone here believe that Patriotic Americans will EVER reach the point where we have had enough of the lies and repeated betrayals committed by those in power that we finally stand up and actually do what is our duty as stated in our Declaration of Independence? Specifically, I am asking does anyone believe we will ever rise up and do whatever it takes to “alter or abolish” our government(s), all of which have become tyrannical as we have the RIGHT to do as We the People existed prior to the formation of any government and are superior to ALL governments, at least in theory?

This is not simply a rhetorical question, for all of us have witnessed the demise of America along with the slow and steady theft of our Liberties, all of which has been intentionally done by those in government. We all may not agree on the specifics though I think it accurate to say that we currently live in a de facto dictatorship, especially when one considers that the NDAA by itself gives the President the power to confiscate every asset owned by Americans whenever deemed to be “in the interests” on America, along with the power to detain and hold without charge any American deemed a threat.

Clearly those powers are dictatorial which I believe supports my contention that we are in fact living in a de facto dictatorship, though we are allowed the illusion that we retain our Liberty since the governments knows, or at least believes they have the power to do whatever they want without fear of retaliation.

On our side is the fact that there are perhaps 80 to 100 Million gun owners in America, many of whom are Patriots who love America and who hate what is happening to it but feel powerless to do anything about it. Among those numbers are some 25 million Veterans who are more than capable of mounting an effective defense of our Liberty, even if many are long in the tooth, for they still have the knowledge and experience how to fight and can lead those less experienced.

Many also believe that active military and LEO would largely join the People in the event our nation suddenly awoke and rose up in unison to remove the traitors from every elected and unelected position from which they have essentially acted as rulers over us rather than the servants they were intended to be. In that event, We the People should be in a position to peacefully assume our rightful position as the true power in the country, after which we could restore our Constitutional Republic to its rightful state, removing all those who abused their positions to enrich themselves at the expense of the People.

Yes, there could be a time of violent struggle as the traitors are unlikely to surrender their unlimited power without resistance. One can pray that the period and intensity of that struggle would be limited once the traitors recognized they could not prevail. However, knowing the depravity of some of our leaders, it is hard if not impossible to predict the extent to which those traitors might go in an attempt to remain in power, so should we start down that path, we must be committed to following it to the end for there would be no turning back once begun for the traitors would not be forgiving but would wreak a vengeance of unknown terror if we started then retreated from our path.

So what say you, my fellow Patriots? Do we have it in us to make the same commitment that our Founders made when they signed the Declaration of Independence which each of them knew meant they were also signing their own death warrants?
