The House Intel Committee has released the full (modestly redacted) complaint letter from the so-called ‘Whistleblower’ regarding Trump’s “urgently concerning” conversations with Ukraine.
“In the course of my official duties, I have received information from multiple U.S.
Government officials that the President of the United States is using the power of his office to
solicit interference from a foreign country in the 2020 U.S. election.”…
“Over the past four months, more than half a dozen U.S. officials have informed me of various facts related to this effort.”
…
“I am deeply concerned that the actions described below constitute “a serious or flagrant
problem, abuse, or violation of law or Executive Order” that “does not include differences of
opinions concerning public policy matters,”
So to the crimes and misdemeanours…
The Ukrainian side was the first to publicly acknowledge the phone call. On the evening of 25 July, a readout was posted on the website of the Ukrainian President that contained the following line (translation from original Russian-language readout):
“Donald Trump expressed his conviction that the new Ukrainian government will be able to quickly improve Ukraine’s image and complete the investigation of corruption cases that have held back cooperation between Ukraine and the United States.”
Well that doesn’t exactly sound “deeply concerning”? But there’s more…
“Aside from the above-mentioned “cases” purportedly dealing with the Biden family and the 2016 U.S. election, I was told by White House officials that no other “cases” were discussed.”
Oh so other people confirmed that Trump did not seek more, but the ‘whistleblower’ claims calls and documents were “locked down” – in some nefarious manner?
“In the days following the phone call, I learned from multiple U.S. officials that senior WhiteHouse officials had intervened to “lock down” all records of the phone call, especially the House officials had intervened to “lock down” all records of the phone call, especially the official word-for-word transcript of the call that was produced—as is customary—by the White House Situation Room. This set of actions underscored to me that White House officials understood the gravity of what had transpired in the call.”
Perhaps the most interesting part is the following…
“I was not a witness to most of the events described… However, I found my
colleagues’ accounts of these events to be credible…“
Perhaps he would better named a “gossip-blower”

Like a beaten boxer, exhausted in the later rounds the punches of the Dems/Deep State are weaker and have much less precision. Whistle-Blower Gate is transparently obvious and if it used to hold an impeachment vote in the House (successful or not) the Dems will cease to exist as a national political party. Biden should be (but won’t) prosecuted on criminal charges.
I am really not sure how Trump summons the patience and restraint that he has shown since 2015.
Does Trump ever just arrest these traitors? Since nobody from the Deep State has been prosecuted yet, I would say probably not and maybe there is no need the Dems are pretty good at destroying themselves and that weakens the Deep State.

Politics in the USA is getting more surreal by the day. All the serious problems are ignored while the Democrats and deep state work feverishly to get rid of Trump. Why? Is he really that much of a threat to them? No one has yet paid a price beyond a few being fired for the egregious crimes surrounding Russiagate. No wars have been stopped–though none have started either–no wall built, no swamp drained . . . So why are they working so hard to get rid of Trump? This latest attempt, now dubbed Ukrainegate, is their most pathetic thus far, as their desperation grows to oust the president. Why? Is he getting ready to take some very powerful people down? Or is it just that they think Trump will win another term next year, so they have to make their move now? Or something else?
The dems know Trump will win next year and all they can do is undermine his authority, just like they have been doing for 3 years. When you consider the fact that Pelosi pulled the impeachment trigger before the phone call transcript and complaint were made public, then factor in all the sound bites provided by the MSM talking heads along with Schumer, Shiff, et al this past week questioning whether the transcript was real or not and suggesting a coverup and conspiracy. After reading the complaint would it surprise you that members of the house intel committee may have helped write it.
This all seems to well orchestrated and choreographed and does not come close to passing the smell test. Seems like Russiagate 2.0 to me.
I’ve been waiting years for the lion to roar, but up to this minute, he has only whined like a wounded kitty cat on twitter.
Maybe this will be different. Up to this point, the president has been seen as above the sh*t slinging and a victim of his opponents, but now with the specter of impeachment, he will have to strike back, or forever be portrayed as the president who was done in by the swamp; something he will not be able to accept.
Meanwhile, the democrats are realizing if the do not act now, they will lose whatever momentum they think they have gained from the Russian collusion fiasco that did not go well for them, but was enough for their supporters to have some morsel of a lie to hold onto.
And acting they are doing, throwing up whatever they have to see if something will stick with the American public. But just like the Kavanagh 2.0 attempt, their story is falling apart and you can begin to smell how desperate they have become.
There will be nothing they can offer their fan base if this impeachment attempt fails; all they will have left is to trigger a scorched earth black swan event to save them the humiliation of a 2020 defeat. But the way they have been bumbling along so far, the black swan my only be a irritating gnat; a fitting end to their reign of humor.
The only momentum they got from the Russiagate investigation was negative and they certainly seem to be building on that negativity with impeachment. They are beginning to lose support of moderate democrats and have all but lost independents with their “do nothing constructive, while attacking the President full speed ahead” agenda.
Too bad it is all hearsay and would not last three seconds in a legal proceeding.
