Well it came out that Bernie Sanders wants to take the fossil fuel companies to CRIMINAL COURT. I find this really interesting. First, much of the land is owned by the federal government which has leased land for oil drilling including offshore. So does that mean the politicians who agreed to do that are co-conspirators and should go to prison? What about all the people who drive cars? So we are to eliminate all fossil fuels so why is he flying around in private jets for his campaign? Is he conspiring with these same companies to provide fuel for his campaign? What about the heating oil to keep him warn during this deep freeze?
There is something in the Constitution that would prohibit him from doing anything that he has to say. It is called the Ex Post Factor Clause. So you cannot write a law and now criminally punishing oil companies for something in the past. The Ex Post Factor Clause was included because this was one of the tyrannies of the king. You could cross the street and then the king passed a law that it was illegal for you to cross that street and then prosecute you for something you did before the law was created.
Bernie has just demonstrated that he is unfit for office for I have NEVER heard of any candidate, Democrat or Republican, who has ever proposed such tyranny. That is a complete denial of Due Process of Law and it fits with Bernie’s admiration for Communism he has always clung to his whole life.

If Bernie gets rid of fossil fuels, he’s going to have a difficult time heating his 3 homes in VT. I don’t think unicorn farts provide many BTUs. Screw that guy and screw everyone that voted for him.

Yup. Ol’ Bernie virtue signals real well while hoovering up the dough. Wonder how much fossil fuels are used to heat the most recent $650K lake house? Ditto for all the other political frauds pushing the climate change agenda while hoovering up the electricity and fossil fuels that made the electricity. They should be forced to live the life they espouse for others.

Far from being “fossil fuel”, hydrocarbons are not only plentiful but are being renewed by yet-unknown processes deep within the earth.
The term “fossil fuel” was coined in the 1950s when little was known about the processes by which oil is produced. Oil is “abiotic” in nature, as even depleted oil wells are “filling back up” from deep below the earth’s surface.
Oil interests are drilling wells at 5,000 feet, 10,000 feet, and 15,000 feet and deeper, and coming up with oil deposits way below the layers and levels where “fossils” were known to exist.
As Russia gained much expertise in deep-well drilling and coming up with oil deposits far deeper than that of the level of “fossils”, abiotic oil at extreme depths was actually a Russian ‘state secret” for a long time.
Not only that, but there are planetary bodies in which hydrocarbons are naturally occurring (without fossils).
“Peak oil” and “fossil fuels” are discredited concepts that environmentalists and others are latching on to, in order to display their hatred of oil being a renewable resource as well as to push prices up.
Follow the money.
Next up narrative, the earth is a living being and oil is its blood. We, parasites, must exterminate ourselves so the earth can live. Now where did i place my pink pussy hat, hmmmm.

If we can’t wake them up, a majority of our fellow Americans will vote communist (democratic socialist) given the option. I tire of hearing our currently elected congress faked support for our Constitution, while so many seek to strip it of power! So thankful for the many here seeking and speaking truth. Urge your elected to impose all congressional appointments to all committees are required to pass a background check. As I must to purchase a firearm and get a job. The club I want to join, even though we ain’t in it, remains inclusive. And the Father prunes the fruitful, removes the fruitless. Pray for our grands!

Companies do not commit crimes. They are just file cabinets full of paper. People commit crimes using the companies as tools to accomplish their criminal goals.
Think Bernie is going to make the same proclamation about the big bank executives?

By Bernies own standards: if oil companies are convicted of criminality for harm to the environment. Would he himself not also be convicted for using gas and driving his car. After all, he applauds Sandy Hook parents being able to sue Remington for making bullets and guns used in a so called mass shooting (that never occurred).
