Former presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke said that racism in America is “foundational” and that people of color were under “mortal threat” from the “white supremacist in the White House.” Pete Buttigieg chimed in to explain that “systemic racism” will “be with us” no matter who is in the White House. Senator Cory Booker called for “attacking systemic racism” in the “racially biased” criminal justice system.
Let’s follow up by examining Booker’s concern about a “racially biased” criminal justice system. To do that, we can turn to a recent article by Heather Mac Donald, who is a senior fellow at the New York-based Manhattan Institute. She is a contributing editor of City Journal, and a New York Times bestselling author. Her most recent article, “A Platform of Urban Decline,” which appeared in Manhattan Institute’s publication Eye On The News, addresses race and crime. She reveals government statistics you’ve never read before.
According to leftist rhetoric, whites pose a severe, if not mortal, threat to blacks. Mac Donald says that may have once been true, but it is no longer so today. To make her case, she uses the latest Bureau of Justice Statistics 2018 survey of criminal victimization. Mac Donald writes: “According to the study, there were 593,598 interracial violent victimizations (excluding homicide) between blacks and whites last year, including white-on-black and black-on-white attacks.
Blacks committed 537,204 of those interracial felonies, or 90 percent, and whites committed 56,394 of them, or less than 10 percent. That ratio is becoming more skewed, despite the Democratic claim of Trump-inspired white violence. In 2012-13, blacks committed 85 percent of all interracial victimizations between blacks and whites; whites committed 15 percent. From 2015 to 2018, the total number of white victims and the incidence of white victimization have grown as well.”
There are other stark figures not talked about often. According to the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reporting for 2018, of the homicide victims for whom race was known, 53.3% were black, 43.8% were white and 2.8% were of other races. In cases where the race of the offender was known, 54.9% were black, 42.4% were white, and 2.7% were of other races.
White and black liberals, who claim that blacks face a “mortal threat” from the “white supremacist in the White House” are perpetuating a cruel hoax. The primary victims of that hoax are black people. We face the difficult, and sometimes embarrassing, task of confronting reality.
Mac Donald says that Barack Obama’s 2008 Father’s Day speech in Chicago would be seen today as an “unforgivable outburst of white supremacy.” Here’s what Obama told his predominantly black audience in a South Side church: “If we are honest with ourselves,” too many fathers are “missing — missing from too many lives and too many homes. They have abandoned their responsibilities, acting like boys instead of men.” Then-Senator Obama went on to say, “Children who grow up without a father are five times more likely to live in poverty and commit crime; nine times more likely to drop out of schools and 20 times more likely to end up in prison.”
White liberals deem that any speaker’s references to personal responsibility brands the speaker as bigoted. Black people cannot afford to buy into the white liberal agenda. White liberals don’t pay the same price. They don’t live in neighborhoods where their children can get shot simply sitting on their porches. White liberals don’t go to bed with the sounds of gunshots. White liberals don’t live in neighborhoods that have become economic wastelands. Their children don’t attend violent schools where they have to enter through metal detectors. White liberals help the Democratic Party maintain political control over cities, where many black residents live in despair, such as Baltimore, St. Louis, Detroit, Chicago.
Black people cannot afford to remain fodder for the liberal agenda. With that in mind, we should not be a one-party people in a two-party system.

When adjuzted for racial percentages, the difference in aggravsted battery is unambiguous. For every 1 white guy who attacks a black guy, blacks attack whites right around 254 times.

I grew up in a white New York neighborhood. Not predominantly white, all white. Italian, German and other European ethnicities lived peacefully with each other.
Then I landed a slot in a specialized public high school that was deep inside an all black neighborhood, Bedford Stuyvesant. At the same time, the Bed Stuy riots started and for months the riots made the headlines.
I learned about black people from personal experience. Of the student population there couldn’t have been even 1% black. To see a black person in the halls was rare, but they were treated just like anyone else. There was no discrimination against them due to skin color. They earned their admittance via testing. Of the freshmen in any given year, only 25% would graduated 4 years later. The rest got reassigned to neighborhood schools along the way due to poor grades.
Outside the building was a war zone. Stabbings, shootings, robberies, muggings, all committed by the black locals. In the machine shops, we’d make steel billy clubs. In pattern making shop, we’d create clubs out of wood that were then used in foundry to cast solid aluminum clubs. We learned to protect ourselves and exited the building in groups displaying our weapons. Switchblade knives were a staple along with our slide rules.
We learned about black violence early on and there was never any offence from the white student body. It was always defense against the blacks. I don’t care about what the sociologists, psychologists, and other bullshitologists have to say about black people. I KNOW they are, in the majority, a less intelligent and more violent assemblage of humanity. Any discrimination towards them they engendered through their behavior.
Were blacks put upon over a century ago, of course. They were treated like animals and that should never have happened. Am I responsible for that, no.
Today, blacks use the welfare office instead of the employment office. Laws give them rights and entitlements the rest of the society pays for. It’s time to end all the laws that specify anything but ‘person’ as the subject. The laws ostensibly designed to help blacks and other minorities have failed to raise their standard of living and have produced a needy underclass accustomed to voting for a living.
Just as when Bed Stuy exploded decades ago, predominantly black neighborhoods will be the epicenter of looting, burning and violence when SHTF time rolls around.

As slaves were the “losers” in the various internecine conflicts taking place among the constantly-warring tribes, they were easily placed into bondage. “To the victors, belong the spoils”. Add to that, the various “village chiefs” wanted to get rid of their troublemakers, criminals, ne-er-do-wells, and other marginal individuals; selling them into bondage was their “solution”-solving two problems at once.
We are living with the future generations of these now-useless and obsolete “farm implements” and are suffering from their idiosyncrasies and criminal behavior as a result of their ancestors being brought to the “new world”.
The last vestiges of the slave plantation mentality still exist in Louisiana’s Angola State Prison, where manual labor is still used to grow and harvest crops. This system works, as the inmates are required to work, performing manual labor. Very little mechanical machinery is used, as there is a surplus of “human capital”. This could be a model for the rest of the country and a way to deal with our black “problem”. If blacks want to stay in this country, the plantation system should be what they live under.
Neither you nor I nor anyone else knows how slaves became slaves. We’ve been told stories by the historians who claim knowledge they could not have possessed. Their assertions are just bullshit spoken with an air of authority.
What I do know is how blacks were treated in recent times and that was very poorly indeed. Those so mistreated are long dead and I owe them nothing as no debt is owed to someone that doesn’t exist. Their progeny can’t claim victimhood in their stead.
Today’s black population is a product of liberal polices that have done nothing but hurt their prospects. They are an underclass because they’ve been taught to be an underclass. That does not in any way excuse their ingrained violent proclivities.
I don’t believe in prisons or capital punishment. Prisons do nothing to make a victim whole and a gov’t has no right to murder anyone as a gov’t can’t be a victim.
The society is full of predators from street criminals to the political class. If a victim can be made whole by forcing a perpetrator to repay the victim, then that’s what should happen. That can’t be done from behind bars.
In the case of a Bernie Madoff where restitution can’t possibly be made, he should be denied protection from the law and let any of his victims kill him. Protecting him by placing him behind bars and spending to keep him alive is insult heaped upon injury.
Every individual should be armed and dangerous. When faced with an individual that has willfully and purposely decided to victimize another individual, I would suggest that the victim dispatch the perp on the spot with an award due for helping clean up the society. No need for useless police, judges, prisons, guards, etc. Swift justice. That swift justice would solve the underclass problem by either killing it off or altering its behavior, either of which is preferable to what exists today.
We should bring back slavery. Anyone that harms another owes a literal debt. Simply make them slaves to the harmed person until the debt is fulfilled. If they murder a mans wife, the family can vote on punishment from death lifelong service. If a thief doesn’t want to stay in his place at his masters place of business, begin with the cutting off of hands, hobble their feet ala Papillon. NOTHING is more cruel than cages within a cage along with other evil people.

High School 64-68.
I don’t believe there was such a thing as a charter school back then. There were only private and public to the best of my knowledge.
NYC had 3 special public high schools that requires passing an entrance exam to get in. They were well established so weren’t a response to any then current geopolitical machinations. They were male only facilities when I attended, but I believe became co-ed quite some time ago.
Their focus was on engineering and included learning about the trades that support engineering. Where else would a kid get to work in a foundry with an electric oven to melt aluminum? We took field trips to Corning Glass, Bethlehem steel and other facilities to see industry in action.
I went to Brooklyn Tech. 13 of use from my Catholic Grammar School took the test in the then largest auditorium in the country, full of applicants. An individual I could barely see was on stage with a mic. His first words / commands were: ‘Look to your left! Now look to your right! Both of them won’t be there when you graduate’. 3 of my school mates got in, I alone graduated.
The moron DeBlasio wants to kill off these schools because they discriminate. Damned right they discriminate and it should stay that way.
I lived in Bedford Stuyvesant long before it was ‘cool’, in fact it was one of the worst neighborhoods in America at that time (1978) and it was drilled into us that every interaction outside on the streets was a risk and based on the people I knew, for good reason. Rapes and assaults on students happened to a lot of people and it wasn’t the students doing the raping and mugging.

In my lifetime the definition of the word has changed from someone who burns crosses in the front lawn of a black neighbor to someone who can discern the difference between the races.
For a large segment of the population the need to be a part of the group far outweighs the need to process information logically and to make rational decisions based on experience and facts. Some of us will never make the leap to that level of self deception regardless of the social consequences. Until they are either conquered or eradicated the process of changing the meaning of the words that isolate them and cut them off from the rest of society will continue.

For almost 150 years the United States has been conducting an interesting experiment. The subjects of the experiment: black people and working-class whites.
The hypothesis to be tested: Can a people taken from the jungles of Africa and forced into slavery be fully integrated as citizens in a majority white population?
The whites were descendants of Europeans who had created a majestic civilization. The former slaves had been tribal peoples with no written language and virtually no intellectual achievements. Acting on a policy that was not fair to either group, the government released newly freed black people into a white society that saw them as inferiors. America has struggled with racial discord ever since.
Decade after decade the problems persisted but the experimenters never gave up. They insisted that if they could find the right formula the experiment would work, and concocted program after program to get the result they wanted. They created the Freedman’s Bureau, passed civil rights laws, tried to build the Great Society, declared War on Poverty, ordered race preferences, built housing projects, and tried midnight basketball.
Their new laws intruded into people’s lives in ways that would have been otherwise unthinkable. They called in National Guard troops to enforce school integration. They outlawed freedom of association. Over the protests of parents, they put white children on buses and sent them to black schools and vice versa. They tried with money, special programs, relaxed standards, and endless handwringing to close the “achievement gap.” To keep white backlash in check they began punishing public and even private statements on race. They hung up Orwellian public banners that commanded whites to “Celebrate Diversity!” and “Say No to Racism.” Nothing was off limits if it might salvage the experiment.
Some thought that what W.E.B. Du Bois called the Talented Tenth would lead the way for black people. A group of elite, educated blacks would knock down doors of opportunity and show the world what blacks were capable of. There is a Talented Tenth. They are the black Americans who have become entrepreneurs, lawyers, doctors and scientists. But ten percent is not enough. For the experiment to work, the ten percent has to be followed by a critical mass of people who can hold middle-class jobs and promote social stability. That is what is missing.
Through the years, too many black people continue to show an inability to function and prosper in a culture unsuited to them. Detroit is bankrupt, the south side of Chicago is a war zone, and the vast majority of black cities all over America are beset by degeneracy and violence. And blacks never take responsibility for their failures. Instead, they lash out in anger and resentment.
Across the generations and across the country, as we have seen in Detroit, Watts, Newark, Los Angeles, Cincinnati, and now Ferguson, rioting and looting are just one racial incident away. The white elite would tell us that this doesn’t mean the experiment has failed. We just have to try harder. We need more money, more time, more understanding, more programs, and more opportunities.
But nothing changes no matter how much money is spent, no matter how many laws are passed, no matter how many black geniuses are portrayed on TV, and no matter who is president. Some argue it’s a problem of “culture,” as if culture creates people’s behavior instead of the other way around. Others blame “white privilege.”
But since 1965, when the elites opened America’s doors to the Third World, immigrants from Asia and India–people who are not white, not rich, and not “connected”–have quietly succeeded. While the children of these people are winning spelling bees and getting top scores on the SAT, black “youths” are committing half the country’s violent crime–crime, which includes viciously punching random white people on the street for the thrill of it that has nothing to do with poverty.
The experiment has failed. Not because of culture, or white privilege, or racism. The fundamental problem is that white people and black people are different. They differ intellectually and temperamentally. These differences result in permanent social incompatibility.
Our rulers don’t seem to understand just how tired their white subjects are with this experiment. They don’t understand that white people aren’t out to get black people; they are just exhausted with them. They are exhausted by the social pathologies, the violence, the endless complaints, and the blind racial solidarity, the bottomless pit of grievances, the excuses, and the reflexive animosity.
The elites explain everything with “racism,” and refuse to believe that white frustration could soon reach the boiling point.

Sometimes my wife can be unbearable. On our trip to NJ last night, we stopped to get something to eat. It was the first rest area after getting on the turnpike (going north) and right before Camden. Once in line, at the Burger King, I realized my wife and I were surrounded by diversity (except the white staff comprised of 3 very large white men of fighting age). Not a white person in sight. I knew we weren’t going to make it to the counter. I told my wife that if there was the slightest bit of trouble, I was leaving and she had better be right behind me. Sure enough, 2 low IQ diversitys were acting like chimps while interacting with the white Burger King staff. We left. As we were driving away, my wife assumed I was unhappy with the white staff. It is beyond me how she could have thought that. The diversitys were stupid assed low IQ morons who couldn’t take no for an answer. My wife and I got in a yelling match. It ended with me telling her that she had better let me make all our security decisions or she will one day find her self all alone in a sea of diversity. SMFH

Donkey , I too have had a series of arguments with my wife & daughter regarding my alleged racism . Wife a VP in a small all white company and my daughter with a well paid nursing position thanks to this racist low life shipboard marine mechanic . Being a heavy industrial guy trained 45 years ago and now retired you can imagine the racial diversity I have witnessed first hand . Good family men who worked hard trained us young bucks and about 10% were black that I considered friends from work then there were the other 90% blacks that are truly a sub human species incapable of any intellectual pursuits . To them it was all animalistic stimulus or cause and effect never was a methodical process of critical thinking ever put in place . They had to be fired , promoted (usually the first option) or laterally moved with a job with a thimble full of authority where they could inflict the least amount of harm . There were constant issues with attendance or arrest issues from every crime you could imagine including murder . Constant maternity and child support claims for court ordered garnishment . They were inherently violent by nature and foul mouthed but an authority on everything especially white privileged assholes like me who got my journeyman’s papers in 4 years while many blacks tested out of the program to a labor position now there’s racism self inflicted .

The company plan was bankrupted but my wife & I did the right things because we could see into that crystal ball and prepared . Also had to slow down due to life changing illness that inherently killed before you reached 50 but early detection (pre Obama care) saved me with a kidney transplant . Had to slow down but still work a couple days a week at a less demanding situation . I still put in 42 years in the 40 hour plus grind before my mandatory slow down . Life can be good if you take responsibility for your self . Something many blacks never learned !

You know what is frustrating is the time it takes for “society” or the mainstream culture to catch up. While things ebb and flow any southern person of a certain age (first group of Gen X or older) just knew intuitively how our darker brothers “are”….no illusions not much animosity just acceptance that we were different.
We had lots of cordial interaction, played sports together, went to school together but moved in vastly different circles with carefully defined areas of that interaction.
A black person that moved beyond those parameters was an instant threat and treated as such, usually by the police and sheriffs department. They, while the Jim Crow laws were long ended, did self segregate and while not entirely peaceful criminality was contained and seemed a lot lower than it is today.
Eg. your Burger King example…..would never have happened in the 60’s in the South…(I remember the first Burger King I ever went to was in Miami)…Miami is no longer the South I wouldn’t go to a Burger King to avoid starvation.

There are a lot of things that can be taken from an article like this. That the definition of “racism” has shifted so severely over the past few decades, the massive gulf between the individual and the group, how emotion trumps rationality for almost everyone in almost every circumstance, etc.
One clear takeaway for me is so ridiculously simple that it is overlooked: we are all victims of the State. It is their best interest to keep the people of every race not only divided, but at each others’ throats…and they are doing a marvelous job of it. Even if government motives are of noblest intent, the policies enacted almost always have the exact opposite effect of that desired.
