“No More Threats” – Trump Warns Iran “52 Targets Will Be Hit Very Fast & Hard”

Via ZeroHedge

Following today’s mortar attacks, and bellicosity from various Iranian (and Iran-backed) leaders, President Trump has responded in words (for now), warning Iran in three short words: “no more threats!”

In three short tweets, Trump explained he is done being threatened…

“Iran is talking very boldly about targeting certain USA assets as revenge for our ridding the world of their terrorist leader”

Then reminded his followers just exactly what Soleimani had done…

[Soleimani] had just killed an American, & badly wounded many others, not to mention all of the people he had killed over his lifetime, including recently hundreds of Iranian protesters.

He was already attacking our Embassy, and preparing for additional hits in other locations. Iran has been nothing but problems for many years.”

Then came the warning:

“Let this serve as a WARNING that if Iran strikes any Americans, or American assets, we have targeted 52 Iranian sites (representing the 52 American hostages taken by Iran many years ago), some at a very high level & important to Iran &  the Iranian culture, and those targets, and Iran itself, WILL BE HIT VERY FAST AND VERY HARD. The USA wants no more threats!

Not quite as aggressive as the “fire and fury” tweet directed at North Korea, but with the red flag of jihad flying in Iran, we suspect they get the message from the US president.

Of course, as Politico’s Rym Momtaz explained earlier, no one knows for sure what happens next, even those who will decide some of the next steps.

The Iranian regime is not suicidal, it is strategic, calculating (even if it miscalculates sometimes), so likelihood of an all-out direct US-Iran war is low.

Khamenei promised response, it must be strong enough to save face internally, for a regime already strained + facing popular dissent, and also be calibrated to avoid provoking a US response inside Iran.

Iran’s response will show whether deterrence restored.

The myth of invincibility that Iran built around Soleimani was a huge recruitment tool, it may also now turn out to be a double-edged sword.

How does its most valiant warrior, its most effective US challenger, get picked off so precisely by the US?

Concern for US military, diplo personnel, and citizens, in the region is legit. But allowing it to dictate policy plays into Iran’s hands which weaponises Western sensitivity to human loss, and war weariness, to further destabilise the region unchecked.

There are many so-called anti-imperialists who always criticise Western intervention but justify Iranian/Russian intervention. Iran is not a legit actor in Iraq/Syria/Leb/Yemen. Its crimes there are no less reprehensible than those by the US or colonialists.

Iran is set to announce its next violations of the JCPOA in next few days. That’s another thing to look out for, other than a military retaliation, in wake of the Soleimani killing. Will it escalate to the point of affecting break-out time or not?

Trump’s warning follows Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah’s comments stressing that avenging Soleimani and the other martyrs is a duty of all resistance mujahidin around the world.

When this all develops into a regional, whole-scale-war, hopefully it will all contained within the middle east… and that includes the tactical nuclear strikes from Russia and China upon US forces. Hopefully it will all take place over there and the action be very limited on North American soil–as well as China and Russia.

No point in blowing apart the most developed countries in this planet.
But don’t think Iran will be a pussy-push-over like Iraq and Afghanistan.
These fuckers are going to get in many good kicks in the teeth before they go down–if at all.

You will not be lining up tank brigades and building up forces on Iran’s border like you did in with Kuwait.
You will not be seeking a resolution in the UN over some phony pretense.
You will not be mobilizing and moving forces around like chess pieces.

When it breaks–it will all be over as fast as the 1973 war between Israel and Egypt.
Boom. Bam. Thank you mam.

Now if Russia and China get involved–say goodbye to your children whom you couldn’t affoard to send to college and instead waved goodbye to them as they were bused off to bootcamp at age 18 or 19.

If they are over there, you won’t be seeing them anymore.
It will be flash. Zap. Sizzle.
The battleships Utah, Oklahoma and Arizona come to mind here.
Also Battan and Corrigidor–but this time with tactical nukes.

Zap. Flash!
But–that’s what our troops are there for–to prop up the US ponzi dollar.

Right!?

So when the fighting begins–be sure to organize a group to stand on some busy street corner, pumping your fists into the air, shouting ‘Murica!”

None of your amped up fears are likely.
No need to invade, just degrade. Take out what underpins a modern society and watch it eat itself.
By now the Persians are as tired of the Ayatollah as they were of the Shah (for the same reasons).
Who cares if it turns into a free for all mad max zone in there, let them stew. Without fuel for transport, heating or power generation, it will be hard to “export” anything including terrorism.

Better understand predator drones are very capable and unmanned. A few C130’s would rock em good. After 52 devastating targets and trump reminding them that if they keep their lips flapping, as they have for half a century, about death to ‘murica as you put it well, we have learned from our soy libtarded friends that “words” are violence and are “hurtful”. Therefore, their “violent attack of words” has caused this. These “micro-aggressions of words” must be punished just as doxing here occurred. We learned a lesson from you soy boy libtards. What? You no like it?

Mr. Galt fails to realize that even if there are those “Preditor Drone Strikes” (of which he spanks his monkey over the thought of), Iran is no push-over state. These guys will in fact rain down hundreds upon hundreds of missiles on our bases and ships… causing major boo-boo’s to all the uniformed, US military low-lifes whom he worships so dearly.

Iran is NOT GOING DOWN without a major, knock-down, very bloody fight. This is not Iraq with some dirty half-baked Arabs we are dealing with here. This is not some tribal region like Afghanistan we will be dealing with here.

These people have spent the last 20 or so years bunkering in hoards of missiles, anti-shipping missile sites, artillery sites and so forth. Not to mention that they most likely have a nuke or two or more up their sleeves, hiding pocket aces to push all their chips in.

The USA military proved inept in Iraq and Afghanistan–proving that they are mostly a lumbering, top heavy giant managed by multi-star degenerates.

Expect attacks across the entire world–on every sort of American and western interest imaginable.

Your world is going to turn into a fuck storm as Iran eventually goes down.

These cock-suckers most likely have a plan to turn the USA and the western economies into a cesspool of shit and misery as they are taken down.

Oil supplies though the gulf will assuredly be halted.

It is the identical strategy that the Japanese employed during the last year of WWII in the Pacific–and that was not to win, but to inflict the maximum amount of death and destruction upon US forces and allies in an effort to force an end to the war.

In Iranian thinking–if they go down and bring about the economic destruction of the was and especially the USA… they win.

Look at Osama Bin Laden’s plan with 911. They won. They inflicted several billion dollars worth of destruction in the outright attack on NYC. And this rag-head knew that like the lumbering, stupid giant which is the USA–that we would plunge into Afghanistan (like the USSR) and be trapped there, flailing and fumbling about (as we have for the past 18 years).

So who inflicted the most damage with 911 and Afghanistan?

They did. Asymmetrically they won. We spent several trillion dollars in Afghanistan and Iraq. OPFOR spent perhaps several hundred million. What is that ratio?

Where did it benefit us–other than making the flag-wavers and militard’s have morning erections?

So enjoy your 10 to 15 dollar a gallon gasoline–and enjoy the leftist-communists taking the house, senate and shit-house this fall.

That will be a given.

Enjoy your war and what unfolds afterwards–it will all be up your asses without a kiss or lube.

This is the exact same argument made before Iraq in 1991. If the US military want to take down Iran, it will do it surprisingly effectively as it always does.
For Iran to attempt to fight the US is a complete mismatch.
That being said, I do not support a war against Iran, and would prefer to see normalization of relations. The American people need to realize the American Mid East Policy is being dictated by Israel and the MIC, and does not benefit the American people in any way.
Iran is also not suicidal and well remembers the fate of others who allowed their egos to control their actions. Iran’s Supreme leaders do not want to end up like Saddam and Qaddafi.
My guess is that their retaliation will be more measured and covert than actions that would require escalation.

As usual in the fog of war most everything we read is mis-information. We don’t know what comes next.

This weekend I have read many comments; like the one I am here replying to, and have come to the conclusion that people don’t know what they are talking about and should just shut-up so we who are trying to make sense of what is going on don’t have to be distracted by mindless claptrap.

I have the sinking feeling that WW111 has started. Don’t keep out of mind that Iran, Russia, and China are presently conducting joint naval exercises in the Indian Ocean and Arabian Sea outside the Persian Gulf.

Also keep in mind that Iran has the capability to close off the Persian Gulf. With the Persian Gulf becoming a war zone who is going to insure any oil tanker coming out of there.

I can see grave destruction of oil facilities all around the Persian Gulf. If Iranian Oil facilities are destroyed; as is being advocated by Lindsey Graham, I would think that Iran would reply by destroying all the other oil facilities in the Gulf since they would have nothing more to lose by doing it. And what suffering would result for the countries that depend on this oil; like China, Japan, South Korea, and Europe? Would it not cause the world and these countries to turn against us for being the catalyst of this destruction?

It may well be that Russia, China, India, and Europe will be forced to confront us militarily to avoid this destruction because it would be in their interest to do so. And remember both China and India have over the years built up a rather large Blue Navy. We cannot ignore what the rest of the world may be thinking right now.

It also should be remembered that for the last 2 years Ira k has been asking us to remove our troops from their country. Up to now we have not done so and this is why our troops are becoming targets. Our refusal to leave is what has caused this current crisis.

So now the world is being held hostage by our refusal to leave and our willingness to protect our interest and aims in the region.

So the gig is up and WW111 is in our face. And history will record that the US started WW111 by the assassination of Iran’s top general in another country.

Claptrap like the comment above I am replying to is from an individual that has no idea of the graveness of the present situation the world is in. These people need to shut up and solemnly reflect on the grave situation the world is in.

Everything comes to an end. The American unipolar world came to an end with the rise of China and our petrodollar strategy has reached its logical conclusion. Will our leaders “do the right thing” and change to a more constructive strategy based on economic strength, sound fiscal and monetary policy? Of course not, the Deep State and MIC have already convinced themselves to double down on stupid.

We will likely see the spectacle of massive coalition voting to boot the US out of the ME and then we veto it in the security council, China and Russia then led the coalition to forcibly remove America……all in the name of Freedom.

We will be the “bad” guys in this one, though Russia and China are simply working for their own betterment.

All things change, all things come to an end….

I truly believe that President Trump got sucker-fucked with intentional bad and misleading advice before deciding to pull the trigger on this Iranian General. We all know that the entire CIA apparatus and top tiers of 5-Star Degenerates in the pentagram want him out–and he fell right into their rope-a-dope operation to get him out of office in 2020… and quite possibly this is going to work.

The more I see Hannity and other talking heads on Fox defending this decision, the more I see these Christian Leaders (all with their heads up Israel’s ass) yammering away in defense of the action–the more I know a big ploy was put-over on the president.

Today, the feast of the Epiphany, we celebrate the arrival of the Magi to worship the baby Jesus. Many traditions exist about the exact number of and origin of the magi, but it is generally believed that they included Parthians, experts in astronomy from NE Persia.

I’m no fan of or apologist for Islam, but I hope today’s Persians retain the wisdom to deny the neocons the war they so desperately seek.

This is the end result of not applying the litmus test to candidates that are seeking office in our nation’s government. What is the litmus test, you ask? It’s simply applying the single factor of knowing who and what that candidate represents. Well, then, what is the single factor that distinguishes one candidate from another? What would make a particular candidate stand out, so to speak?
The single factor is whether or not he or she represent America, or Jewish interests. In the case of 99.9999999 per cent of candidates, the answer is a resounding yes, they wholeheartedly represent Jewish interests.
How can this be? Isn’t this America, the beacon of freedom and democracy to serve as a shining example to the rest of the world?
Actually, no, it’s not. For more than a century, the dark forces of global Zionism and world Jewry has clouded the political landscape of this nation and has made it all but impossible for candidates that would genuinely represent true American interest to enter the political arena, let alone be elected to serve as a representative to those who honestly put him in office.
Over the last decade, or so, things have deteriorated to the point that now, it isn’t even a question of being loyal to America, but candidates fall over one another to pledge absolute fealty to Israhell and actually argue over who can be more slavishly devoted to this murderous, pariah state.
If the litmus test would have been applied to Trump, he would have failed miserably and those who put their faith in this disingenuous billionaire from Jew York (of all places) are now finally realizing that they have once again been led down the primrose path of shattered hopes and dreams of a better future for America.
It reminds me of the old story about the frog and scorpion. The scorpion wanted to hitch a ride with the frog across a swollen stream, but the frog was afraid that the scorpion would administer a fatal sting. The scorpion assured the frog that nothing could be further from his mind and hopped aboard.
About midway across, the scorpion reared back and delivered a vicious sting to the frog, who was shocked and bewildered by this act. “Why did you do that?” asked the dying frog, now we’ll both die. To which the scorpion replied “you knew I was a scorpion before you agreed to give me a ride.”
This fable should speak volumes to all of the frogs out there, who have been duped time after time into voting for scorpions all these years. Perhaps they will awaken from their slumber, perhaps not, but the time grows short and now the pallor a war, along with its companions of death, pestilence and famine has reared its ugly head and threatens to change our lives forever. The scorpion’s deadly sting has been delivered.
