State police cite Pa. woman for ‘going for a drive’ amid stay-at-home order

FUCK THE POPO

A York County woman this week was the first person in Pennsylvania to be cited for violating Gov. Tom Wolf’s stay-at-home order, according to state police.

The 19-year-old woman was given a nontraffic citation for allegedly “going for a drive,” according to the citation obtained by Pennlive.

State police spokesman Ryan Tarkowski said Friday the woman initially was pulled over because of a vehicle code violation. Warnings have been issued by troopers in Troop A, which includes Westmoreland County, and Troop E in the Erie area, he said.

Troopers can use their discretion during situations to decide if a citation is warranted, but they have been encouraged to use contacts with the public as a way to promote voluntary compliance, Tarkowski said.

“At this time, law enforcement is focused on ensuring that residents are aware of the order and informing the public of social distance practices,” he said. “While the order is mandatory, voluntary compliance is preferred.”

Wolf issued stay-at-home orders to Allegheny and six other counties on March 23. Westmoreland residents were ordered to stay home four days later. The stay-at-home order was expanded to the entire state on Wednesday and is in effect until April 30.

#1 The story is another ‘news’ story. We don’t know what if anything happened.
#2 There is no other way to stop the stupid masses. They must learn or burn to make things better. Imagine a world where hedonists/spendthrifts starve and savers/preppers inherit more room to breed.
#3 The police are earning the contempt they deserve.

As a complete loser minimalist not by choice, ha, ha, ha, haaa, haaa! Good news! Good news! But alas it will take a lot longer than you think. Unbelievable is why it must happen unbelievably. Total capitulation and the path of least resistance. Amen, brothers, amen.

They helped the masses against you and me, but the noose tightens and we are becoming the majority by debasement. If given the chance, please apply your standards, my friend. Leave not the seeds of destruction but plant your own. I have had a similar experience. You know where my heart is. I wish my body were 30 years younger. Poor youth can’t have a clue with all the lies. Anyway, let the dummies get educated and embrace any clean-up operation. The goal is too laugh last. I hope I’m not too preachy.

We are a cultural minority, a fringe. If we were to expand by being fruitful, we would not be abused freaks. Let the conditioning be your strength. Few have been ostracized for the past 30 years. Being alone is a kind of freedom, and it may be invested in a quality crisis, if you know what I mean.

I question what is going on they do not want us to see? Driving in a car with the same people you live with, not making a stop or shopping is not a crime and not at risk to ones self or others. There must be something else. Surely a power play but with all the talk globally about all the 5g into schools and neighborhoods makes me wonder are they building the 5g towers fast while we are in lockdown because so many are upset about 5g? Or are they making new fema camps? What else? Why can they not say, sure take a Sunday drive to the country and enjoy listening to music in the car, just don’t stop and shop. There is a reason…

A federal “deprivation of civil-rights” lawsuit is warranted in this case. The driver was stopped for no valid reason, certainly not evidence of a “crime” being committed. I think the driver has a good case.

I agree. Personal vehicles are treated the same as a home when needed to be searched and without permission a warrant must be executed. So, by reasonable assumption, a personal vehicle can be seen a an extension of the “home”. Who exactly did they think was going to get potentially infected? Certainly the police by stopping this woman in the first place and having close contact with her for no valid reason at all. Nonsense.

Stopping people doing beer runs? Gee, maybe they should learn how to brew their own.
I did. Takes a bit of work and patience, like cooking does, but if done right, you can brew up 5 gallons or more of beer for less than what it costs to buy a case of bottles.
288 ounces of commercial beer plus gas and police costs versus 640 ounces of fresh brew and zero harassment. It’s all perfectly legal and probably less costly than fines and court costs until the fricking police and their godless political commissars shut that down, too.

Please God, in your infinite wisdom, consider extending the State of Emergency through late November.

The utter inability of Democrats and forked-tongue liars to process what is going down with the Corona-Lockdown follies is staggeringly good entertainment.

It’s not the cops that are closed for business.

It’s the Courts that are closed or working at 15% capacity.

State and local criminal and civil Courts can stay closed permanently, or at least until they are dismantled and rebuilt, as far as I’m concerned.

All legitimacy has evaporated on the street when the law flips to release felons en-masse, while postponing family court proceedings INDEFINITELY and allowing for, in some silly instances, busting up public gatherings.

The CDC has mandated that patients who are positive for the CDC-19 virus and die have the death certificates list COVID-19 as the “cause of death”, even if death is due to other causes.

The CDC has a dishonest, questionable agenda and as a government agency, is promoting more lies from the government.

COVID-19 is a flu strain, nothing more, that is being used for political purposes, and to slow down the economy, hiding the massive bank fraud that is occurring right under our noses.

Let’s not forget election fraud, which will be more prevalent than ever before.

I live near Lakewood NJ.
Jews will buy my house even if there’s an economic downturn. They’ve practically run out of residential construction areas over there and have proceeded to buy up commercial and residential areas for essential Lebensraum. Once they get enough voters to override the town ordinances slowing them down the school system will get trashed and the place will be loaded with minorities.
There is no real “safe space” with all the liberal idiots at the local, state, and national level but with a real economic downturn you’ll start to see the resentments turn into open conflict.

Consider the following that is going to happen:

State and local governments are going to run out of money to operate. This means a massive cutback of services.

Many laid off people will not be getting unemployment checks. First of all governments do not have the manpower to process all the unemployment claims nor will they have the money to payout.

Many local governments and some State governments are going to fail.

Soon; probably before the end of April, many people are going to defy the stay at home order and States will not be able to do anything about it.

Many government pensions are going to be severely cut.

401 accounts are going to be wiped out.

Many big corporations are going to fail.

The big reset is coming. But it is not going to be like anyone; even the elites, can imagine.

Our present leaders have no idea what they have caused. Shutting down the entire economy over a ghost coronavirus is stupid. Not only is it stupid it is dangerous. No one knows what the coming reaction from the people is going to be. But one can be sure that for every action there comes a reaction.

How did that work out for the Brits after 100 years of colonization failures and two world wars? Between Churchill and Maggie, the inflation went rampant and they lost world reserve currency status overnight (as measured by saecula). They recaptured some of their international respect but look at their living standards now versus under the Empire when they exported the inflation.

This is not a game. No one knows how or when SHTF but we do know that without a recession, 2024 was the outlier date for Medicare to go tits up. Think we may be experiencing a recession yet? Notice where capital inflows have been recently? Destruction of the old world order always starts at the periphery and ends at the core.

We’re the Tower of Babel now. This is part of the problem the Nomads are up against. That is, how do we move enough Prophets out of the raw idealism and into the pragmatic solutions (whatever they may be) we need.

Solutions after the collapse of the old world order will come from the bottom and (hopefully) trickle up to create something better. Hopefully. I’m not entirely convinced though. I think we oscillate from internal to external total war in Crises, but I haven’t seen a good historical breakdown for Crises prior to the Glorious Revolution. My gut also leans toward a French Revolution which will be entirely driven by passion rather than reason.

Alaska is doomed, my boss is from there. I broke it down for him at a high level. The rain forests surrounding Juneau may be OK, but travel throughout most of AK is aero. I wouldn’t be surprised to see an invasion from Russia, either. Another topic entirely.

“Standard” rural areas will do just fine. Tennessee would be one of the best. The term “suburbium” derived from the Roman citizenry fleeing the city into the countryside. One historian wrote that the Empire was so corrupted that they begged the barbarians to not return them to Roman rule, to just sack the city.

Rome went from a population of 1 million to 15k in 200-250 years. Big cities will be dead zones.

Nowhere would go untouched. But a confederation of select Southern states would fare far better now than anywhere else in the country. Perfect? No way.

Most of the manufacturing still in this country relocated to the South, finance continues to move to the South from Wall Street, and while we don’t have the agriculture of the Midwest, we have the climate.

It’d all be a real mess. But hopefully my 6 years of research prior to relocating from DC came in handy. I knew a mega-mother TARP was going to happen. Just didn’t know when or for what reason. I knew it’d be the nail in the USD coffin.

The US military is massive. Probably that assures no intervention by a state. Will they stop importing Muslims and other vibrants? I suspect they will when they decide enough is enough. I think the collapse of the Roman Republic is the best guide. If the military simply decomposes into citizens with nicer guns and training, then other possibilities arise. Are the military leaders of today ambition statesmen who would dare make history? What America do US troops want? It’s a matter of independent cohesion I think. 2nd means nothing is they maintain cohesion. If they don’t, the police are better equipped and trained. The multicultural masses have numbers for what it’s worth. Wish I had a crystal ball, and millions, and of course humans worth defending personally.

IMHO the best outcome is Gaius Julius Caesar. I’ve been saying this since 2008. The hiccup is keeping him alive this time. Americans are incapable of self-governance at this point in history and need to be de-programmed.

Again, lots of risk and just my opinion based on history. I will get downvoted as usual on this type of post but we need a person with a strong pimp hand, a dedication to the balanced God of the Bible (Justice/OT and Mercy/NT), and the ability to unilaterally dictate what the transition period to a new order would look like.

I’ve had the same thought about GJC, AoC. The do-gooders here might want to bone up on the Gracchi. What would be optimal is a complete break down of government infrastructure. Western men do well if they must do for themselves. The Wild West was good not bad. A complete reset would be another Dark Ages. I think if we focus on the constitution of the population and patriarchy, things become manageable for us. I don’t know that there are enough heartless sensitive types with awareness of history to do that. Sucks to have to rely on one man against mammon. A period of chaos and depopulation could do wonders, but then what would stop a foreign state invasion? The collapse in the eastern Mediterranean at the end of the Bronze Age could be surpassed. There’s no negotiation with Muslims (and others). I would go further than you. You would de-program. I would regard that as impossible and infeasible. I can take some of the down votes for you.

Caesar saved Rome from the Optimate lenders and got killed for it. The populares loved him. Gotta keep him alive for starters, and for the entirety of the transition. Otherwise you get a shit stew in the other direction.

I have faith in the goodness of the average person. That’s our only difference on this topic, I think. The pimp hand, however, is necessary for those who don’t want to let go of the corruption/”old ways”. Justice must be fair, impartial, and swift.

‘But you gotta play the game of Life or just “assume the position” from the get-go.’

lol I see your experiences have taught you roughly the same lesson they taught me. Men should know that lesson before they leave their teens, or their fathers have failed them. I know that whipping-boy position. So does gman, better than me these days.

I refuse to go back. A sibling told me some years ago, “I don’t like what’s gotten into you.” My sodomy blockers got into me, home grown, all organic. I will tend them always. Sad that most humans would keep you in a mental cage and call it moral and just. Yes, AoC, we do disagree on human nature. I wish you would experiment and trust empiricism. The inner game of PUA field work, i.e. sarging, is very enlightening. I would not actually try to get laid, just try to be more attractive as much as possible, which is men wanting to be me and women wanting sex with me. It’s a direction not a destination. First impressions over and over, you see patterns with how you present yourself. You can pay attention to any social interactions and learn from empiricism, observe stimulus -> response and let the truth talk to you.

I will reiterate that PC is essentially the Spanish Inquisition. You see these pandering snitches want a piece of the martial law power. I don’t think psychopaths/sociopaths are unusual per say. Corrupt institutions breed them like flies, and I mean in government-controlled populations not just inside bureaucracy. Anyway, keyboard warrioring ain’t gonna change a thang. We carry on.

Immediate compliance is preferred, but sometimes they find non-compliance just for fun if they’re in the mood.

The lady has a right to travel. That is a Constitutional right. Now unless the police can prove that her actions were somehow harming someone else, she has not committed a crime. There are plenty of bad laws out there, that prosecute people for doing things that are not crimes, and those laws need to be fought. Now if she were in public and somehow endangering others, they would have a case, but driving by yourself endangers no one.

if there’s an actual plague going on then it’s entirely reasonable to do this, and if their elected officials authorize it then it’s authorized.

They have a responsibility to protect the public. That responsibility entails making sure they enforcing laws correctly. If you are doing something that may endanger another person, they have the duty to protect that other person. If you are not doing anything that could possibly harm anyone else, and they cite you for it, they are both corrupt and incompetent, and should be bagging groceries for a living. Police are given extraordinary powers, and they need to take great care in excersizing them. In this case the woman was not putting anyone at risk, and therefore was not committing any sort of crime. The police violated her right to travel. They are the ones who are acting in a criminal manor…

“are the ones who are acting in a criminal manor…”

should police not be under the authority of the governor/chief/sheriff? and most authorities, elected by voters, do indeed have legal standing to implement such orders in emergency cases (which this “plague” doesn’t seem to be notwithstanding) – should they not?

No. They are under the authority of the Constitution. (Allegedly.) I thought Nuremberg made that clear to the rest of the world that “just following orders” is not an excuse.

(laugh) nope. what nuremberg established was that there was (now going to be) an extra-national law that supersedes any nation’s constitution in disregard of its people’s or its leaders’ own determinations and the due process of their own laws. is that what you want?

Not at all. My point revolved around the “just following orders” canard. It won’t fly. That was what the Maine sheriff was touching on with respect to his deputies. There is a price to be paid (when and where and how severe, we don’t know) for “just following orders”.

@ jdog

Don’t you listen to the president? WE ARE AT WAR. Why do you think there are so many generals at his briefings? Read between the lines; if you can.

The virus lockdowns are getting us prepared for the time martial law. Thanks to globalism we are no longer insulated by our oceans. The truth is going to come out soon. War cannot be kept secret from the people.

So what we seem to have is a financial breakdown and at the same time an apparent immanent war.

If the citizens have no freedom to travel when there is no evidence they pose an imminent threat to anyone, then we have no reason to pretend it’s a civilization anymore. If there’s restricted freedom of speech, restricted freedom of expression, travel bans, and restricted freedom of religion, then we are at the tipping point of ekpyrosis.

Life is not without risk. I am especially pissed off that the most important Christian holiday is being overtly violated. We Christians are tactile, feeling, social creatures bound spiritually to the Prince of Peace and His overcoming death. To deny our ability to congregate is anti-Christian, hence Satanic.

That’s what finally pushed me over the tipping point with respect to not providing a single calorie to state or federal employees. If you’re no longer acknowledging my right to praise Christ in person with my congregation, then I have to defer to a lower (primal) authority and cut the trees and edible landscaping down.

Again, this is not a game. I only control myself and my immediate surroundings, but make no bones about it, I have total control over returning the land to the condition I found it in. By November, I will have fully operational ability to feed (best guess by my wife and me) 25-50 families by the following Spring. Best guess based on supply chains, mulch deliveries, and my neighbor’s ability to help. That’s with 1.5 fully improved, cedar glade acreage and potentially more if I wanted to clear it.

No more compromises.
