I hate it when I go to sleep thinking about how we are living in a time that, to paraphrase by Murakami, we might call IQ84. The popular narrative is that Boomers lived a life of privilege and fucked up the world for Millennials. The reality is that the Millenials grew up in that fantasy world where the stock market never went down, the price of gas was always low and cars lasted their entire lifetime. They never had to change a tire, pay for a date, support their children or even cook.
These spoiled motherfuckers, black and white, are now bitching because they have to work for a living. Like seventeen year locusts, these grubs emerged from their dark basements all at once to find they have been living a lie. They kick against the pricks and refuse to accept that life requires a bit of effort and calluses. The blacks cry ‘racism’ and the whites cry ‘Boomer privilege’ demanding to install a communist system without police or public opprobrium that will continue to take care of them after the Boomer sugar tit is removed.
Old farts, such as we are, can clearly recall life in the USA back in 1967. The differences in the USA and China at that time were very stark, almost as stark as the differences between the USA then and the USA now. So, this is progress…hmmm.
