Update (1758 ET): The Metro Nashville Police Department released an image of the recreational vehicle that exploded in Downtown Nashville.
“This is the RV that exploded on 2nd Ave N this morning. It arrived on 2nd Ave at 1:22 a.m.,” said the police department.

There were shots fired in Nashville too. Speculation is they were used to attract the police who then discovered this RV with a speaker warning that it was going to detonate and to clear the area.
This event was a complex attack and test, on many targets on multiple levels simultaneously. Primarily, it was a communication capability test on loss of service and restoration time requirements, and how it would affect law enforcement agencies response time and capabilities, around a large metro regional area, in addition to observating civilians responses and everyone else’s communication redundancy plans. Secondly, and attack on infrastructures and how long it takes to repair this. Command, control, transportation and communication hubs will become magnets for these types of ambushes/attacks as our society continues its engineered decline by the (((politicians and bankers))) in charge. It is interesting that you say this is an engineered decline by the politicians and bankers. This is the system that is keeping the American people in economic slavery. Eliminate the system and the politicians and bankers lose control. In the 1960s when we did not have this system there was much more economic freedom. My first impression on seeing this is that the American people who value liberty have woken up and are behind the take down of this oppressive system they are living under. And what better way to do it than to destroy communications. Notice there was gun shots way ahead of this explosion. What better way to warn people to get out of the way than to wake them up with gun shots.
This is my take on it. The cities have become decrepit and are nests of poverty. Governments are broke and cannot create jobs. People need to start thinking about taking responsibility for their own life instead of relying on government. I think we are going to see more of these events.

There is a news interview with a female eyewitness who lived in the building across the street that said the gunshots came from the warning recording being played from the RV
There was never any proof the gunshots were associated. Do you know how difficult it is to triangulate gunshots in an urban environment?
What if a bomb when off in Chicago and there were gunshots, you would assume the two were connected? You are talking me that in a metro city there are never gang shootings?

It wasn’t a truck/RV bomb. There is no crater where the RV was. An elevator hydraulic cylinder was blown out of the ground(where you see the big square holes), that does not happen with a truck bomb. I’m 60ish miles west of Nash. Cell, internet and Nash. TV all quit about 6 hours after explosion. Internet came back yesterday(Sat.) early evening. Still no cell service. We were out of all comms long enough to wonder if the door kickers were starting the purge, round ups. I sure missed TBP while incommunicado. We all know that when IT goes down, the comms will go first, to catch us off guard. Always be in condition yellow(aware of whats going on around you). Be ready for condition red. Happy new year! I wondered if a camera caught the person getting out of the RV. With all the cameras in cities and personal phones, it’s hard to image they didn’t get something they can zoom in on or even a look at the RV license plate number.
