A collaboration of: “The Classic Music Mafia”
nkit, Austrian Peter, and Steve C.
Every Sunday morning we present selections for our TBP family to enjoy.
We present symphonies, ensembles, quartets, octets, etc.
Not all of our music is strictly ‘classical’. We may stray a little, but we strive to make all of our selections ‘classy’.
We offer tips on proper ‘symphony etiquette’ and even some selections that are a bit light-hearted and fun aimed at a younger audience. Those pieces will be so designated, and might be a good way to introduce kids to a world of music that they might not have been exposed to or think of as old and ‘stuffy’.
A full symphony will run as long as it will. We don’t want to cut a symphony short. However, we also include some shorter pieces that we try to keep under fifteen minutes in length. You can sample each and hopefully find one or more that pleases you.
We hope that you enjoy our Sunday selections.

These are for the kids
Nessun Dorma
This is a kiddo thing…
These are two choirs from South Wales. (Wonder if Peter has heard of them).
The first is a girls choir. They sing one of the most famous Italian opera arias – titled Nessun Dorma.
It is from Puccini’s opera titled Turandot.
Incredible performance.
Calon Lan
Okay, now the boys choir.
These boys are also from South Wales. They are awesome.
God bless them…
They sing an old Welsh hymn titled : Calon Lan…
Tear jerking, it is lads and lassies….
I hope that you enjoy…
Play it for the kiddos…

Thanks, guys. I love seeing all of these very talented young people perform.
Thanks TN Patriot.
There’s so much young talent out there and it’s our pleasure to bring it to you.
That National Youth Orchestra of Great Briton’s version of The Planets was really good.
That one was from Peter this week.
nkit’s young talent from South Wales was great as well…
Bravo!
Thanks Maggie…
Beautiful selections.
The Planets is one of my favorites, along with Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons.
And, in keeping with the theme –
