WASHINGTON, D.C.—A new executive order handed down from President Joe Biden will allow service members to select camouflage that reflects their chosen gender identity.
Soldiers, Marines, and sailors deployed to the front lines will be given the choice of which kind of uniform to wear. Options range from transgender flag colors and rainbow colors to lesser-known gender identity flags, such as tater-tots and dragonkin. You can even choose a furry suit, if you so desire.
“Rather than being stuck with patriarchal desert, forest, or urban camouflage, U.S. service members can now select camouflage that matches the flag of their chosen gender identity,” said a spokesperson for the Pentagon. “It is important that every military member feel comfortable in their uniform and that it reflects their lived truth, whether that be a man in a woman’s body, a woman in a man’s body, or a grapefruit.”
“Finally — you can live your truth even as you fight America’s enemies.”
In unrelated news, there has been a spike in casualties among the armed forces fighting on the frontlines, though it’s unclear why.

I wish I could laugh at this. I can´t. There is no way for me to express my disgust at what has happened to the U.S. military. I was on active duty from 1976-79, not happy years as it was in the dreary aftermath of the Vietnam War. Guilt feelings among the American public had not yet built up much so there were no strangers coming up and thanking you for your service. Certainly the guys who had been in Vietnam were never given their due. My instructors and commanding officers were tough, often bitter men. but they knew their jobs. Basic training had not been softened or diluted to make it a safe space for women. There were very few in evidence and all of them in office jobs.
The Marine Corps was a hard, unforgiving place. The commandants in those days were grim, by-the-book soldiers who brooked no nonsense. A battalion commander was a god. A Sergeant Major inspired fear wherever he went. The Marines were far from being saints, but in general, their sins were of the familiar kind and were dealt with in a familiar way. Officers were expected to behave like gentlemen, more or less, and the troops had to behave themselves, or else. As for the Women Marines, well, they were tolerated. At that time the Marine Corps carefully selected many of them for their looks and, let me be honest, there were some very pretty young women. As for the morals of many of them, well…… Boys will be boys and women will be women. They use what they have to get what they want and a uniform does not change that one bit. Of course, there were plenty of lesbians, but they were given something of a pass as long as they kept their perversion discreet. Homosexuals in the male ranks? A dishonorable discharge, if not the brig.
I look at the Corps today and I see gutless generals or, even worse, those who actively and with enthusiasm support the “Woke” culture and the disastrous changes it has brought to the Marine Corps. These men are arrant moral cowards and liars, utterly devoid of any sense of honor; the medals they wear mean nothing at all. Each and every one knows perfectly well that women have no business anywhere but far to the rear in the support services (where, to give them their due, they can do useful work). They accept it because they lack the guts to resign in protest, knowing good men will die because they failed to act.
The outfit has been overrun with white trash and ghetto crawling enlisted personnel. As for too many of the officers, they are idiots no different from the ones you see protesting for Saint George Floyd on college campuses. They listen to hip-hop music and use ghetto street slang. “Boomer” and “Take a knee” my fat ass.
I know many of my fellow Marines will disagree, pointing out that the majority of the men in the ranks are as solid as any Marines have ever been. And they are right, but it makes no difference. There is not a damn thing the good men can do to reverse the trends. The scum has risen to the top.
This situation is one of deadly peril for the United States. We have not won a war in a long time and our generals and politicians have deceived themselves into thinking that our technology will, if not win wars, then prevent humiliating, catastrophic defeat. They should know better.
An all-out ground war with China would lead to our defeat. A similar war with Iran would result in casualties so high the U.S. government would essentially collapse in the face of public outrage. Even smaller opponents, helped out by Russia or China, can give us a terrible bloody nose.
This is not the military that won WWII, even, by literally flattening our enemies with firepower. And our potential enemies are not 97 pound weaklings.
Stand by for disaster.
Though there were the majority of battle hardened marines during your time the rot had set in. At that time I served in the navy with an OSVET (other service vet) that had been a marine in ’75 and was part of the Mayaguez rescue attempt. He said he left the corps when the troops were subject to a personnel inspection on the tarmac when they landed at their return airfield. He was gigged for not policing his belt buckle.
Back in the 80’s it was said that the Soviet Union was a third-world country with a first-world military. The (former) USA is a third-world country with a clown-world military. Or maybe that’s a clown-world country with a clown-world military. Maybe Israel should be looking for a different sucker to fight its wars.
Crazier than wanting to wear pink to trumpet your sexuality, is not wanting to be camouflaged on the front lines.
If some troops actually choose to do this crazy thing, maybe when they start getting shot at a much higher rate they will change their minds.
