Day of Atonement

Day of Atonement in the Bible - Most Solemn of All Feasts

GoFundMe was asking for a “tip” on the money I had just donated.  It had defaulted to 15% though there were windows for 10%, 20% and Other.  For a brief moment, I set aside my grief and marveled at the presentation on the screen.  Everything was just right – font size, font color, layout, design and lack of clear instructions.  These guys are pro’s I thought and then the magnitude of what I just did washed over me and I broke down.

Two hours prior, I was contacted by one of my childhood friends who wanted to let me know that a member of our High School clique was on her deathbed – lets call her Cindy.  Though we were close growing up, I had not had any contact with Cindy since graduation.  See, growing up in the Rust Belt didn’t leave guys like me with many options other than to pick which branch of service we’d like.  As for me, I chose the Army and just like that, we were scattered all over the world and I lost track of her.  I lost track of everyone.

I should have found her sooner but I’m in that generation that grew up before the internet and home computers.  That said, people look a lot different at 54 than they do at 18 and that women change their name when they get married can make them that much more difficult to find.  Frankly, I could have taken a 12 hour flight with her in the seat next to me and it never would have occurred to me that my travel companion was Cindy from high school.  Things change.

It was explained to me that Cindy’s teenage daughter was taking care of the Facebook page so I sent my old friend a “friend request” so that I could send a letter to be read to her by her daughter.  Before I did that, though, I wished to have a look at her profile so I could better understand how this turn of events had occurred.  What I saw was an obese, ailing, divorced single mom that adored her children.  She had remained trapped in the Rustbelt and so far as I could tell, had spent the last 11 years (the age of her profile) fighting various illnesses to include cancer which made sense given her weight.

Though she had posted hundreds of photos, few were of her and I took this to mean that she felt self conscious about her appearance.  It must have troubled her.  It was then that I thought about all the multi-national corporations that I have worked for that push junk food on to the public.  I helped them market to the masses using every trick at my disposal – binaural beats, subliminal messaging, back masking, triggers, whispers – you name it, I did it and did it very very well.

Next, I could see that she had fallen into the clutches of the Medical Industrial Complex and again I felt guilty.  I’ve worked for every single one of the current mRNA “vaccine” makers as well as a lot of pharmaceutical companies you’ve probably never heard of.  Without exception, every single board member I ever came into contact with was a sociopath that would murder their own grandmother with an ice-pick if they thought it would make them a penny.  These are some heartless, terrifying individuals.  Making you sick and keeping you sick is their #1 goal and they certainly do not even bother to try and hide it.

Now we get to the worst part – poverty.  I won’t bore you with the list but I’ve worked for every bank you can name.  I helped them convince people to buy homes they could not afford, take on debt that could not be paid back and accept terms and conditions that would have made 13th Century peasants revolt.  I did that.  I did it for a paycheck.

The very last post I saw was an image of Cindy and her daughter with a request for donations so that the still alive Cindy could be cremated when the time arrives as the family had no resources for the funeral.  The banks had done an excellent job – she had nothing left and it was on Facebook for all to see.  She had been strip-mined of everything to include her dignity.

I followed the link over to the GoFundMe page and made my donation and that is when I saw the request for the “tip” and I could see it plain as day – the working group, the psychologists, strategy & marketing, layout and design, presentations to the board – all set up so that I’d leave a “tip” on the money I had just donated to incinerate Cindy.  It was then that I broke down.

I always told myself that the public was “smart enough” to see through all of our clever marketing and that we were just adding “art” to liven up something boring like Teaser Loans, Diabetes and Investment Strategies but I was wrong.  The art had a call to action and that call to action was never in the person’s best interests.  In the end, I will choose to remember Cindy as a healthy, attractive, vivacious young lady full of hopes and dreams and I will never again offer my services to the sociopaths that prey upon small town girls in fly-over land.

My hunch is that America will soon become less of a consumption-driven country…but unfortunately, not because we have become wise. Rather, because we will be soon be broke due to deviant government, inflation, devaluation of our currency, and burdomsome taxation at every turn.

Disruptions to the world economy and it’s supply chains will soon make everything very interesting, even if nobody starts a major war because somebody tossed a few nukes somewhere, or Taiwan and the Philippines resisted being taken over by the People’s Army Navy etc.

All that you mentioned are also factors.

If you are familiar with the communist routine, it involves enlisting anarchists and other useful idiots, and criminals, to create as much havoc as possible. War and planned famines are on their playlist, as they always have been. It involves dividing people into competing factions, and helping them destroy each other.

The end plan is to have the dedicated cadres of True Believers ready to seize power and pass it to the delusional sociopaths who imagine that Paradise on Earth can be created through coercion and murder.

They are expert at destruction and murder, everything else they touch turns to shit.

Point the problematic humanoids out when you see one.

I think people will become more wise. That is what happens when a culture is decimated. People have to start over from the beginning and figure out what is important and why.

I’m interested in this theory.

I don’t know of any instance when people became more wise, although there are, from time to time, wise individuals on earth, perhaps even wise cultures.

What decimated cultures are you thinking of, that became more wise?

It ain’t just a rust belt thing. Roam the rural south and in most areas, it’s destitute. Once you leave the SC Coast, the only functioning >25,000 pop. areas are Greenwood & Florence, unless you’re a suburb of Augusta (N.Augusta/Aiken), Charlotte, Anderson/Clempson/Greenville/Spartanburg or Columbia.

I live in the rural South, and spent years sport riding motorcycles through the Appalachian Mountains from North Georgia to the Part of West Virginia that abuts Maryland..

I have to say, you paint with far too broad a brush.

The limited area you mention is a small part of the rural South, population wise.

The biggest problem, the cause of the poverty you see, is bad government policies. You see the bad results of the dame bad policies in Northern big cities.

Probably you knew that.

“Nickel, what do you plan to do about it? I mean for atonement,”

a·tone·ment. /əˈtōnmənt/ noun: atonement; 1) reparation for a wrong, also, 2) a ceremony of confession

Nickel used this post to make his confession.

He is making reparation as he “will never again offer my services to the sociopaths that prey upon small town girls in fly-over land. There’s a definite monetary cost to him in doing so.

If you’re asking him if he is making monetary reparations to Cindy, well, she died. Besides, I’m not sure what business that is of yours.

I hope Nickel (assuming this is all true) is doing something to at least inform others beyond comment sections, I’ve been gone so I missed the thread. And I really mean that, the published information about what is done to brainwash and propagandise people is obfuscatory, to say the least. And even if the masses don’t know or care, it’s still important.

It doesn’t really matter what any of us think, but if he (or anyone else ‘atoning’) acts on it then I can understand. If not, I would consider no different than a career cop or politician who did shit he knew was wrong, and quietly took his retirement. I’m not saying that’s the case, just that there is a major difference between active and passive responses.

Definition time: 1) a cessation of an act is not the same as attempting to reverse or repair an action, so it doesn’t apply. ” There’s a definite monetary cost to him in doing so.” boo hoo, there’s a monetary cost to not being a usurer as well.
and 2) a -ceremony- of confession is some fake and gay shit for public consumption, reconciling with god with an audience may be important to christians or jews but not to me.

Which reminds me, when I hear Day of Atonement I think of Kol Nidre. Never trust a jew.

All I did was ctrl -f. You can forgive as you please. I assume it will be a gratuitous yet shallow ‘christian’ gesture.

In the future, why not let the person who worked for the enemy answer a very simple question, instead of getting butthurt on their behalf? If he plans on actually doing something, and the story is true, I would be very much willing to learn what I could from him.

“In the future, why not let the person who worked for the enemy answer a very simple question, instead of getting butthurt on their behalf?”

1) Because he is a gentleman and won’t tell you to “fuck off”. I am not a gentleman.

2) Because you are an Anon and you don’t mean jack-shit to me. I consider nickel my friend. I stick up for my friends when they are attacked.

3) And that’s exactly the tone of your posts to him … passive-aggressive, condemning.

4) As such ….. FUCK OFf.

I’ve never pretended to be a gentleman. And neither are either of you, so let’s cut the shit.

I can use a non-anonymous name, though I don’t know why it would matter. You should know by now that you can tell people apart by the way the write. Feel free to come up with a name, I don’t care.

“Passive-aggressive” “tone”
There is nothing passive-aggressive about this. I am blunt. And you’re just a fag who glosses over everything anyone else says who doesn’t already agree with you. Which is obvious since you ignore most content of what people say, while caring about the ‘tone’

I was condemning him no more than he was himself, hopefully less. I actually want to learn from people with his knowledge of enemy tactics and can respect people who fix their mistakes, but if he won’t ACTUALLY do anything to fix his fuckups beyond confessing to strangers, than he is a pariah as far as I’m concerned. I would no more break bread with him than I would a rabbi.

Except you did respond to one thing I said, with
“I stick up for my friends when they are attacked.” Ok? So?
Am I supposed to wail and gnash my teeth over a stranger on the internet who didn’t respond to me and did not want meaningless forgiveness from random strangers? If you see that as an attack your are taking it personal for some reason like a guilty conscience or your bizarre christian reversed values.

A very relevant question. Nicklel has confessed the wrong, and has made a decision to not do what he was doing before. That’s good. But. It seems to me there is a piece where he resolves to do something differently, and does it. It has nothing to do with his old friend Cindy. It has a lot to do with whether the turn around he has begun will come to fuition. My 2 cents.

We are and were all caught up in working for the borg in some manner or fashion in the past, hard not to have. Bernays laid out the groundwork and the corporations and institutions all paid close attention. I used to work in broadcasting, for networks and local television. Back when I was working for them, they weren’t nearly as bad as they are now, in fact real journalists still lived and followed journalistic integrity. There was one story that I felt pretty strongly about and I was all gung ho to push my version of events. The journalist I was working with said I needed to present BOTH sides of the story fairly. Imagine anything like that today.

Nickle has confessed, he expressed remorse and that is the beginnings of enlightenment and redemption. Please remember that ‘Cindy’ had a brain and free will, she may have been programmed but I daresay she realized how unhealthy her lifestyle was. We all have choices. Drug addicts have choices, ditto drunks and, while it’s extremely hard, one can get sober and straight if one really has the desire to do so.

For about 15 years, I found myself on a new gig about once a week. It could be something very corporate or work for a politician or I might find myself in Slab City out in the middle of the desert doing a 3 day rave for a bunch of drug dealing millionaires. It was always different and I always tried to learn as much as I could while on the gig. One day I might find myself working a live show for Rush and the next week I’m with the board of directors for Pfizer as they strategize on how they are going to compete with Cialis. I had 4 days of being in the same room with some of the richest men in the world while they listened to hours and hours of discussions about erections and how they were going to hold on to erection market share. I’ve hung lav’s on Senators, Astronauts, War Heroes and so many athletes that I’ve lost count. I did the halftime show at the Fiesta Bowl and I’ve been the technical director for 3 off broadway shows. All because I said yes to whatever was offered.

When you are good at what you do, your name gets passed around. No different than a prostitute.

If people find out you’re good at what you do, you’re the first one considered for the job. I spent years being a “go to guy”. After a while being “the One” got old, especially when it meant sacrificing yourself for the “nothing else matters but the next mission” mindset. When you do decide to move on there’s usually someone willing to wear those shoes and your reputation becomes worth less than you imagined.
It’s always interesting to think you’re part of something bigger than yourself, but never start believing you’re an indispensable cog who can’t be replaced.

Go-to-guy to has-been takes about 3 weeks. That is why I moved into designing and manufacturing audio equipment as that was the next logical step. I had enough real world experience to be able to imagine the equipment I always wished I had and I had a large group of professional beta-testers that would put my prototypes to work and give me honest feedback. I had also spent a lot of time listening to guys like Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and other business leaders and that taught me the language of business and how corporations actually think and act. It took me all of 18 months to go from knowing zero about electronics to acts like Aerosmith and Miley Cyrus recording their albums on my hand built gear. I rented a small shop, slept on its floor and budgeted exactly $1 per day for food (I got really skinny) and I made a promise to myself that I would not change those conditions until I was successful. I would punish myself as a means to keep me in focus.

Greetings,

I started off as an Enlisted man and did my time in Satellite & Microwave Communications. I took my G.I. Bill Money (after riding my bicycle around Europe for 2 years) and also joined the Reserves, ROTC, obtained a few degrees and went back as an officer in Ordnance. Following that, I did a few years teaching in an innercity school and in prison but I didn’t like that at all so I went off to work in media and entertainment. Every couple of years, I stop what I’m doing and take on a new challenge. After all, to achieve everything you want, you’ve got to be willing to risk everything you have. Oh yeah, during most of that time I played with various bands.

“I started off as an Enlisted man and did my time in Satellite & Microwave Communications.”

They wanted you for that job because you graduated from High School with no other prospects…

You spent your Service time in “Satellite & Microwave Communications, riding a bicycle. Hmmm…

Later, working for Miley Cyrus made you into an Electronic Engineer.

That seems plausible, inevitable even, for someone like you with no prospects at all.

Say, are you connected to some crony family?

Probably you should stick with your musical career.

I come from a poor family and grew up in a factory town in the rustbelt at a time when all the factories were leaving. Unemployment was so high that you had to have family connections to get a job a McDonald’s. It was the Army that figured out that I’m an intelligent guy with an exceptionally high IQ. No one had a clue – I certainly didn’t.

Once on active duty, I began taking as many college courses as possible. I had also signed up for the G.I. Bill. I used every penny of that G.I. Bill plus money from being in the Reserves and ROTC to earn several degrees with a focus on education and psychology. See, up until college, I was a horrible student and my guess is that all the Ritalin they started giving me in 3rd grade had a lot to do with those issues. It can be difficult to learn anything as a drooling zombie.

I used that knowledge to figure out how I best learn and it was game on. I figured out that whatever I heard just stayed in my head forever and that using my eyes, reading or trying to take notes as everyone is always taught did not work for me. Consequently, it did not matter how many classes I took because all I had to do was show up, sit right in front of the professor, close my eyes and listen. I never took notes and I almost never purchased any books unless there was no other way around it. If I had to read something then I’d go to the bookstore on campus, find the book and read whatever I thought important out loud. I graduated in the top 5% of my class often taking twice the hours of a full time student while also doing ROTC, working in the chemistry department and playing in a Death Metal Band.

The mechanic can fix his own car; the painter can paint his own home and the teacher can teach himself anything. It really is that simple. It is why I can take on so many challenges or just change up everything if I get bored.

Nickelthrower, Great article that hopefully will make some people think about their part in our medical, economic, and technological bondage. If we could clone your atonement and U-turn a few million times there may be hope for our world. However, our enslavement is not caused by or limited to our sociopathic corporate overlords. Every low-paid minion who takes part is just as much to blame, having allowed themselves to being programmed to think they’re enjoying the “good life”. The fake lives our society now offers are just historic mass delusions resulting in the descriptive “strip mining” of lives on a global scale.

Two things:
One – Audio is a trigger that causes people with PTSD to have flashbacks – check.
Two – Flash a light at a certain Frequency and someone with epilepsy will have a seizure – check.

This tells me that frequency can be used to “control” people or at least control their emotions. Not only basic frequencies but complex sounds too. For example, women always respond to the sound of a baby crying. Everyone responds to the sound of a puppy in distress. You can “flash” audio at people and lock them into various trance or dream-like states and it is no different than the epileptic and the flashing light. Normal people do not express it by having a seizure but they are influenced nonetheless.

I was never ordered to do any of this. I figured most of it out on my own. All anyone knew was that the work I did just “sounded right”.

Although I think you’re being a little hard on yourself in this instance, I, too, have been thinking a lot lately about how we have contributed to our own demise.

We saved a few bucks at Amazon.com while local businesses withered on the vine. Millions worked hard to pay colleges that turned the nation’s young adults into leftist morons while others let their sons and daughters finance their destructive indoctrination over a period of decades. We allowed politicians to subsidize the welfare state with our tax dollars. We valued fake food more than health; sportsball, paper money and McMansions more than our future; and entertainment above civic responsibility. Then we stood dumbfounded as all of our institutions collapsed around us.

I’m sorry for the loss of your friend. In the end, however, we’re accountable for our own choices and not the decisions of others; even if we’re all in the same boat, more or less.

And I definitely agree that now is the time to get our priorities straight. Atonement, indeed.

I believe that I understand where you’re coming from, and if so would urge you to please not be too hard on yourself. We all do what we have to do in order to survive in this fallen, broken world. I admire you for your humble honesty and contrite spirit.
I just retired after 46 years in technology. One decision I made early on was to work only in the commercial sector, not in the “defense” industry. My brother chose the latter in which to spend his career, and he once remarked that the running joke at one company he worked for was their unofficial motto: “Bombs don’t kill people – we do.” But being in the commercial sector didn’t keep me from having what I did negatively impact peoples’ lives. I spent 25 of those years in data storage and semiconductor development/manufacturing. Making disc drives and RAM cheaper and more reliable meant that ordinary people could afford personal computers which would let them see and respond to posts like yours. But my work also helped make possible the Amazon Web Services and government data centers that monitor us and hoover up all of our personal information. So please know that you are not alone in your regrets.
Anything we do in this world, on this side of eternity, is a two-edged sword. None of us has completely clean hands, and the only one Who ever did was murdered for it. That’s just the way it is in this fallen world.

Any useful things developed by the private side of the MIC are used, unless idiots are in charge and don’t realize their usefulness, or unless anti-Americans are in charge, and choose to bury the innovations.

It’s complex, and interwoven. The problem is too much government power, which includes the power to tax and borrow unlimited amounts of money, which the private sector MIC is happy to take.

It’s good to know you never worked for a corporation that took any tax money…

Once the epiphany hits it is never the same. When I had my first “peace-keeping” deployment I found out real fast that all actions have consequences no matter how minute.

Leading a principled life with no compromise of principles is a lonely life. In spite of finding a companion that I am compatible with it is still a lonely life at times. Once I started dabbling in NLP and embedded commands in language is when I realized just how twisted the world is. It is also why I rail against every stupid thing I see or hear now in media, books, billboards, etc. as well as having a massive piss in the face of authority attitude now.

If you havent read anything by Wittgenstein then I highly recommend you do so. As much I as detest Chomsky, he is very astute at his trade and highlights a lot of hidden commands in all spoken languages that use tonality or inflection as primary drivers of question/ declarative sentences. Voltaire piqued the curiosity and Bandler and Erickson opened the magic door.

“The limits of my language mean the limits of my world.”
Wittegenstein

My atonement is to constantly remind everyone that reality, as the gubmint has constructed it, is a big goddamned lie and if the government is telling me I should do something then I should do the opposite and do it with zeal because fuck them.

Having a limitless potential in power through language manipulation is something to hold in reserve as it almost always gets used for the worse. Glad to read that you had the epiphany, but we are all ultimately cogs in the gears of something sinister whether we know it or not in great or minor roles.

P.S. learn from it, but dont dwell on past mistakes because there is no going back. Just make that commitment to do better moving forward.

It can be in the hands of the self that knows itself. Most people are too fucken clueless to see how the books purposely or inadvertently cause more issues than they purport to “fix.”

Most of the methods are simple phrases to repeat ad nauseum. Few people can reach the point of learned language manipulation if they do not already possess an extreme grasp of languages. Latin based and other tonal languages are disgusting easy to get results if you have a natural language tempo that can entrance subjects.

Dark hypnosis culture jammers really have subverted NLP amd language patterns with ridiculous results in minutes.

Kendrick Cleveland and David Shade really lead the pack after Mark Cunninham passed the torch. They are difficult to find on the web, vut they have multiple sources on yoootoob and torrent.

It is truly frightening how effective their techniques are. I mean utterly frightening in speed and results. I may add it to the list of things I still need to pen for TBP.

Nickel – sorry for your loss.

In my career, I never worked for what I consider an evil entity. Partially that was by luck, and partially by decision. For instance, I had offers from tobacco companies, and given the chance to think about that, I decided I could not in good conscience work for them.

But as a rule, I was amoral re business activity. Not unethical – I believe I was honest in my dealings with suppliers, customers, and employees. But amoral to the extent that the way I ran my business was to be law abiding best I could, but generally I did not go an inch beyond that. The why was very basic – the govt entities foisted ever growing and ever changing regs, taxes, reporting etc. on me, and if I exceeded whatever those requirements were, then I was putting myself at a serious competitive disadvantage. The one area where I did often exceed requirement was employee safety issues. Given I was slave to the govt regs, I decided best I could do was follow the law, and try to make money. It was at times mutually exclusive, as the govt does not care about a business making money. At least not the drones that enforce the regs.

Do not be too hard on yourself. If your job is to sell, then you sell. Salesmen have been using psychological techniques to sell since commerce began. Caveat emptor is the rule, and has ever been the case. I am not sure where it ends if you start placing boundaries on how you sell things – this is ok, but that isn’t. It becomes very hard. People have the responsibility for their own actions, as your friend did. It seems she chose poorly, which is quite common to the point of being the norm.

I fully understand if you want to avoid situations where you feel you are manipulating people into decisions. It is laudable.

But individuals have the ultimate responsibility for their actions. You are taking responsibility, and have set a line you will not cross. But unfortunately it will not make a difference to anyone but yourself, as someone will fill your place. The only thing that will make a difference is if people stop letting themselves be manipulated, and take responsibility for their own decisions.

Take care.

What is your opinion (if any) about binaural beats and healing? Here is the jist of it (for those unaware of what the hell I mean.)

===========

A binaural beat is the frequency (tone) perceived by the brain when two different tones very close in pitch are being sent to the listener’s ears simultaneously and interfere with one another, …. which results in them producing a third tone which is the difference between their pitches.

This is commonly accepted as true: the length of the brain waves defines its mental state. The brain can only hear one tone at a time.

Here is the Big Claim. Binaural beats “force” both brain hemispheres start working in synergy to extract this one tone out of the two, thus immersing the whole brain into synchronization .

==============

Here is the controversy;

—- Some claim this “synchronization” has tremendous benefits for healing the brain. Jill Bolte Taylor (I mentioned her book “My stroke of Insight” recently in another post) a highly respected brain scientist who suffered a massive brain stroke employed binaural beats to pretty much totally heal her damaged brain. Some go as far a saying binaural beats produce an altered state of consciousness so great that it connects them directly to God.

—– On the opposite end are those — also well respected scientists — who say it’s unproven hocus pocus.
.
.
.
Me? I am a neophyte regarding Sounds …. and on the moran level regarding how-the-brain-works. But, it seems to make sense, and I want to believe it. So, I’m perched on the fence wondering which way to fly.

Another alpha wave aid. Check out (i.e. word search ) Nootropics for cognitive aids… especially for those noticing their mental sharpness ain’t what it used to be. Be careful though. Some are quite potent and can be addictive. See Phenibut.

L-theanine is a green tea extract…very relaxing and no known harmful side effects, but does cause some very vivid dreams.

https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/sleep-newzzz/201708/what-you-need-know-about-l-theanine

L-theanine may help boost other cognitive skills. Research shows L-theanine can increase attention span and reaction time in people who are prone to anxiety. It may help improve accuracy—one study shows that taking L-theanine reduced the number of errors made in a test of attention.

Sometimes, L-theanine is used with caffeine to enhance cognitive skills. Studies show that combinations of L-theanine and caffeine can improve attention span, enhance the ability to process visual information, and increase accuracy when switching from one task to another.

Helping maintain a healthy weight. The anti-anxiety and sleep-promoting abilities of L-theanine may help people to maintain a healthy weight. After all, getting enough sleep and limiting stress are both key to sticking with a healthy diet and avoiding weight gain.

L-theanine may also play a more direct role in weight maintenance. There’s scientific evidence indicating L-theanine may help to limit fat accumulation and weight gain, and pay help to protect against obesity.

Greetings,
Binaural beats are excellent when the person I want to reach is not in front of me. It works really well in a movie theater sound system. Believe it or not, I’m constantly running experiments with both sound and electricity to see how I can achieve the best results. In my opinion, nothing beats Transcranial direct current stimulation.

I have proof that this works really well and can be used from everything from depression to rewiring the brain after a stroke. Below is a link to a video I made. I should mention that I do not make videos for the public but as a private scrapbook or if I need to explain something to a handful of people.

In the video below, I’m trying to convince the owners of a company that hire disabled vets to manufacture guitar pedals to also manufacture these devices and give them away free to veterans so they will stop killing themselves. I wanted to show the owner of this company and his backers that what I had proposed could be used to also help guitar players (since it is a music company). Anyway, I did a 10 week experiment so as to convince him.

If you want proof on how a $5 device can change your life then watch these two videos. Note: I’m a long winded guy.

Lol

I gotta to tell ya, it’s only Sunday, but I’m pretty sure those are going to be the most delightful videos I’ll view all week.

It was like watching Ozzy Osbourne star in a “Flowers for Algernon” play or replace Bradley Cooper in part 2 of “Limitless“.

I nominate Nickel for the Coolest Nerd Ever award.

My favorite quote from part 1:

And then we can find out… is the transcranial direct simulation as useful for guitar as it is for gaming…

And from part 2:

As a quick recap, I’ve done a 10-week experiment where I’ve run electrical current through my head to see if I could increase speed and accuracy….

Ha, ha

Awesome videos. Very cool. Obviously you’re a cerebral and logical guy, so I’m wondering if the improvement in your right hand correlated to the experiment in that strengths are made stronger. In that scenario, therefore, for those who are right-brained, transcranial direct stimulation would improve their creative processes more than their logic / sequencing / linear-thinking abilities.

Just a thought.

Anyway, you’re an amazing guy, Robert. And I mean that seriously.

I used a placement that was developed for stroke victims so that they could relearn fine motor skills. It would make sense that a placement like that would improve the speed in my right hand as most people are right hand dominant. There are placements for depression, anxiety and even to learn math faster. I have seen very little with regards to music and playing a musical instrument. Still, given the difficulties I am having, I thought I’d be the perfect test subject especially given the music that I like to play. I’m still working to convince the guitar pedal manufacturer to mass produce these devices and give them away to veterans.

Very nice of you to have done it with your brothers-in-arms in mind. I appreciated your applied logic in setting the baseline and parameters of the experiment. A lot of experts don’t buy into the left-brain / right-brain theory and believe the right-handed preponderance in populations is weighted genetically, but I would find it interesting to see if your experiment would result in similar improvement in the (uninjured) left hand of a left-handed person. Why? Because curiosity! That’s why.

Thank you Nickel, Stucky, and flash for the info. Been playing music for 40 years. I think you sound fine Nickel. I’m going to use the “device” for chronic pain from disc disease. What’s wrong with your brain?

Isn’t that the first step toward healing, to determine what’s wrong?

“What is your opinion (if any) about binaural beats and healing?”

Will they cure Covid-19, or just schizophrenia?

Altered states of consciousness, in my experience, don’t necessarily lead to God.

Why would you think they did?

For many humans, an altered state of consciousness would lead to rationality… Does rational thought lead to God?

I find it interesting that the most reprehensible (author) among us is now seeking forgiveness. People still believe the evening news too, but many have been on to your gimmicks, and the mainstream news for many years. Then paypal trips him up, and now how miserable he is to realize the errors of his ways. A lifetime of screwing people; you sound like a politician about to run for office, “Hey, I know I fucked up, but I’ve now seen the light…vote for me!” At least politicians use their real names, not pseudo names; stay within your hypocritical class if that’s the best you can do, your errant usefulness gives no credence to the hardworking “Rustbelt” peoples your sociopathic profession preyed upon.

Kevin needs to stay, his righteousness, like the Pharisees of yore, demands it.

John 8:1-11

but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.

At dawn, he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group and said to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. In the Law, Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now, what do you say?” They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him.

But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” 8 Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.

At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. 10 Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?”

“No one, sir,” she said.

Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”

At some point, Kevin will tire of deflecting the rocks that bounce back at him.

I am not seeking nor in need of your forgiveness.

The difference between a “tip” and a “fee” and how that is presented may not seem like a big deal but I can guarantee you that fantastical amounts of effort were put into it. After all, no one likes fees but we’ve all been conditioned to leave a tip when asked. What kind of person stiffs the waitress? You certainly wouldn’t want to be that person, would you?

One simple word can be the difference between a profitable company and one that loses money. Now build from there. If a word can make $$ then, perhaps, a different font will make more $$. Perhaps a different color (frequency) will make even more $$. Perhaps that is fine if you are selling exercise equipment and vitamins but not so great if you are selling hamburgers.

Good post; I admire you’re self-awareness as it’s tough to come by these days. I have learned the hard way that every institution is suspect. I would say to pray for the wisdom and discernment of Solomon, but that might make you lose your mind. Just know there is no evil which man will not pursue, and nothing is above reproach. Condolences on your friend, but in her passing, you gain some knowledge.

A very thought provoking post, with excellent writing and some good commentary.
Besides the subliminal marketing techniques you vaguely mention (fascinating. more, please),
I was triggered to remember a parallel situation of my own.
Specifically, with regards to making donations, to individuals and their plight, vs. a group that then is supposed to administer fairly.

About 11 years ago, Mom passed away after a short battle with Alzy’s and dementia. I inherited some of the bounty of her frugality from being a child of The Depression.
I had a female cousin who was my Mom’s niece, and Rose would visit my Ma, having lost her own mother, my aunt, to breast cancer years previously. That whole woman-to-woman care, compassion, and friendship is a strong bond.
Rose, in fear of breast cancer, actually had a double mastectomy to try and dodge the big C, but she caught it anyway.
Rose was the breadwinner in her family, so when cancer hit her hard, the income levels suffered.
She petitioned for donations to a local cancer treatment organization.
Now, this local org had copyrighted something about pink ribbons and a slogan for ‘funding the cure’ for cancer.
When a small, church based or Christian charity used the same pink ribbon and the same slogan, this local cancer organization sent its lawyers out with Cease and Desist orders against the small charity that was doing some good.
Knowing this, I told Rose that No, I would not donate to that particular cancer institute, but would gladly send her some funds to offset her medical expenses and debts accrued for her treatments.
Rose acknowledged the gesture, and I convinced my brother who also inherited some money to donate to Rose also.
Rose commented that she couldn’t help but think that maybe the spirit of my Mom nudged me into taking some of
what she bequeathed to my brudder and me, and passing it along to Rose, in gratitude for her kindness and friendship to our Mother. (Our Dad had passed away 20 years prior)

Rose passed about 6 months after that, electing to have her ashes scattered on the Gulf, off the coast of Florida, where she had the fondest memories of time spent there with her husband and two children.

I’ve never regretted giving her a sizeable monetary gift directly, as opposed to donating to the cancer organization.

A similar situation: Instead of donating to organized religion, where skimming is done and fed up the ladder to far away places over in Europe, the more noble gesture is to flip a Jackson to the raggedy looking guy on the street corner, holding a cardboard sign stating he’s hungry, and wishing a God Bless You greeting when I give.
As our Lord instructed us to do.
I mean, after all, it’s Palm Sunday today, in the middle of Lent, for some of the faithful.
But, I digress.

post script:
Me older brother seemed fine at Christmas, about 15 months ago. Shortly after New Years, he began experiencing major pain and many health complications, chief of which was stage 4 cancer, because it had spread in his body from where it originated.
His Dr. told him to seek treatment at a cancer institute, and the closest one to his home was the same one that Rose requested donations be sent to., about 10 years earlier.
Brudder did not get a very good response from them, as far as caring, capable, professional health care goes.
In fact, they shuffled him off to a neighboring hospital right next door, abandoning him, in my opinion.
This was during the initial stages of the Corona virus hysteria, but that’s no excuse.
Brother’s wife had to get testy with the hospital staff, just to get in to see him, in his final days.
They almost refused to let his kids come up to the room to say their last farewells to their father, my brother.
He passed a year ago, and the funeral was quite strange, at the height of Corona. Very few visitors to pay respects.

Epilogue:
Last Sunday, I got together with my sister-in-law, my niece, 2 nephews, and my brother’s grandkids, and we had
a beautiful 1 year memorial / family gathering / meal. The sun was shining, and we felt he was with us.
No doubt Rosie and Mom were smiling down upon us all last Sunday, because this is how we believe.

Nickel, you are forgiven; and Thanks for sharing your story. There are good lessons within it, to be learned by some.

Thank you, too, for letting me chime in, on the heels of this thread, by adding a parallel weave.

Cheers to All.

I would say that most people are not aware of what you speak of. MSNBC and Good Morning America didn’t say anything about it to them so how would they know? I will say this, Cindy passed within minutes of the fundraising goal being achieved. To me, that means that she was holding on until she knew that she at least had the means to have her funeral. Some slower method could have worked but that may have prolonged her suffering or she may have passed taking even more worry with her.

The story of how you went from being in the Army to working for numerous multi-nationals and all of the big-pharma corporations must be interesting, as is the rest of your story. Maybe you could include that in another post.

And all the big banks too.

You seem to feel guilty for Cindy’s bad decisions, and maybe you did horrible things, but, atonement will save you, God will forgive you, knowing that you are human.

Did you not to any good in any of the places you worked? Did you not do any good in the communities you lived in? Did you never help your friends and family?

I expect that sort of thing would help.

We work in a small piece of the music industry. My husband, quite awhile ago, would go into this CEO’s office (you would know him), and the guy would use the lights and music etc to get to people in his office (very primitive even for then). It was hilarious, in a way , and it worked on everyone else. I didn’t realize how not hilarious it was until this mask/plandemic. The ceo really liked my husband. I could go on with more mind games (team players anyone?). In fact, it’s all sick and has culminated in gaslighting and work place mobbing. That’s a very effective psychologal tool too.
Well we finally went out on our own and they tried to go after him for the non- compete form. However he had never signed it and sent it back.
Also beware of ‘ biurnal beats’ off the internet.

Edited to add it’s pretty easy to manipulate people if you know the basic tricks. They should be taught to all kids, and homeschoolers should take note., so you know when it’s happening to you. There are way worse things now, too. For instance you’ve probably heard of this. if you’re in the hospital, or a loved one is, make sure everyone (nurses) knows your name and LOVES you. Use every trick in the book.
Bankers, bureaucrats, police, etc. are fair game.
